My one year lease at Kurve has been nothing short of a disaster It starts with Kurve denying my Emotional support animal, charging me a pet security deposit and rent. Then the original unit I'm staying in A/C was broken for three months during the midst of summer my apartment would reach 80 degrees. My hell cat challenger was broken into three times on properly and keep in mind Kurve has enclosed parking structure with two residential gates requiring key tags to get in and I'm on the highest parking floor the 5th Packages were stolen from the property after saying delivered by the postal carrier one of the boxes contained Pokemon cards worth up to 5,000 dollars in value. Last but certainly not least one of their security guards was working the front desk he used vulgar language and physical threatened me. I have asked for corporate number from, Christine, Eric, Cynthia, and higher ups no one will give me corporates number. If you are thinking of staying at this property expecting a luxurious high rise apartment run! read more

I was excited to be here. Until every single morning and afternoon I have to endure a trainer hitting pads and boxing with his clients non stop under my window. I can't focus in my job. I can't have meetings without having this noise in the background. I am forced to wake up at hours I don't need to. It's simply unbearable at this point and it has been going on for the entire 1year I spent here and I complained and ask if they could do it INSIDE the gym instead of outside. I was told "people have different levels of hearing. sounds that can be unbearable to me might not be unbearable for other"???? wth does that even mean? Why can't they just go inside the gym which was built specifically for that? Not to mention the $300 utilities I have to pay on top of my bills every month. I was told it wouldn't be more than $150 and it is shared between tenants of each floor. I learned my lesson. Anyways. I will obviously not be renewing my lease here. read more

I LOVE going to Kurve for holiday and special events!!! This luxury apartment (and everything in it) is fancy, upscale, clean, and a great vibe every time! Been coming here for years since under Christine's management. It consistently feels like a vacation, we enjoyed quality amenities, gym, hot tub, sound meditation, Klubhouse parties for Super Bowl, July 4th, TG, Christmas, NYE, etc. The suites have an amaaazing view overlooking dtla, it's breathtaking at night. Do not move here unless you want: 1) frequent and unregulated car break-ins, and 2) to NEVER receive your packages! The package system is DEFECTIVE and management refuses to resolve it. Honestly, Kurve has been such a great place to live. The building is modern and super clean, and the amenities are some of the best I've seen -- the gym is huge, the rooftop views are insane, and the pool area feels like a boutique hotel. What really makes the difference, though, is the staff. Christine (the manager) is on top of everything and actually cares about keeping the place running smoothly. Ryan from leasing is awesome -- super friendly, always helpful, and made moving in way easier than I expected. The 6th floor common area is nice, but the whole floor smells like dog piss. As you get out of the elevator it starts to stink and when you open the door to the entrance of the common area the dog piss smell in unbearable. The building management tried to police it but did it ineffectively and poorly. No signs posted, no security presence. Not enough cleaning. read more

Everything from touring available apartments to move-in and now being a tenant here has been enjoyable and stress-free. I'd like to particularly call out Ryan, the leasing manager, who guided me through a smooth leasing process. Ryan was exceptionally helpful, walking me through the available options and providing recommendations based on my needs. After we found an apartment and submitted the application, Ryan continued to stay in touch and kept me in the loop through next steps. He was extremely communicative and answered all of my questions all the way through to move-in day. The entire process was quick, transparent, and seamless. Thanks to Ryan, I have a home that I truly enjoy, and I look forward to continuing my tenancy here for a very long time. My partner and I toured the Kurve on October 7, 2023. We had such a pleasant experience thanks to the efforts of Grace Kim, our leasing agent. Y'all, if you're going to lease, lease with Grace Kim! We were headed to the Kurve for a function, and we were set to arrive at 6:10PM. Our friends had just told us about a few units opening up for an incredible deal, so we wanted to tour, but the hours on the website said the Kurve leasing office closes at 6PM. I called and luckily Grace answered. I told her about the situation, and she said it would be ok for us to arrive late. She stayed past the closing date to help us--that is above and beyond! Grace took the time to ask us what we're looking for and match us with available units. She was so knowledgeable about the property and the units. I ask very specific questions (about the square footage, layout, views) and she was able to answer them all. She was also very technically savvy, using the iPad to show us videos of units. Despite it being past closing time, she took the time to show us a unit and gave us the breathing room to envision living in it. She was so patient and gracious. We knew we wanted to lease her after working with Grace, so we signed for a unit (albeit one that we didn't see but had larger square footage) right then and there! Grace made the application process seamless. She also answered my follow up questions the days following our tour. To top it all off, we qualified for a promotion that made the deal even more enticing. When I say the grounds are luxury, I'm not overstating it. My partner and I currently live in Arista in Glendale, and have been looking at other luxury apartments. From AMLI Marina Del Rey to Palazzo West by the Grove, Kurve has all of the amenities we are looking for and then some. We used to leave at the Pearl on Wilshire with the friends who referred us, and they like it here too. Although the surrounding neighborhood looks sketchy, we can stay in the comfort of our complex without fear of that because there was so much security outside, inside, and in the technology to get around the building. The grounds were well kept. The floors in the buildings were so clean. I love the pool and the view we'll have. Plus, the management was nice enough to work with us regarding our move-in date since our current lease does not expire until December. I cannot wait to live at the Kurve! read more

So kind, thoughtful and truly care about the residents at the building. You are always greeted with a smile! Positives: Security staff is great and the apartments are nice with great materials, appliances. Maintenance and cleaning crew is always on point, too. POOR - the rule breaking allowed by the tenants, smoking that is allowed in open garden areas and public places (even though its a smoke-free complex) and the non stop filming by a tenant who uses the property as his personal studio with a full crew and cast - by the dismay and disgust of people who live here. Its apparently allowed by the management. Tenants play A LOT to live here and its turning into a frat house. read more

Due to personal reasons with my current roommate, I was essentially forced to find housing elsewhere in a very short amount of time. As such, I stumbled upon Kurve and immediately checked their availability for studio apartments. While the price for these specific units was slightly higher than other complexes in Koreatown, I was blown away by how professional and helpful the staff were, so this helped me justify the price. Yes, the amenities were definitely a plus, as everything was well kept, clean, new and people actually interacted with each other in common areas, but to me the most important factor was how the staff interacted w/ tenants. Ryan Wilson, in particular, was a staff member that not only assisted me immensely in locating a potential unit but also empathized with my situation, really trying his best to do whatever he could for me. I have rented in koreatown for about 5 years now, moving between 3 different complexes, and I have to say that my interaction with Ryan was by far the most refreshing and also the most memorable. Let me start off saying that Angela, the leasing professional is just an amazing employee who definitely does not disappoint in what she's doing! Kurve itself is just so beautiful and has so many different shades that no matter where you go, you feel like living in a Luxury Hotel! Me and my mom were looking for an apartment for me because i just moved to LA and even tho it was Sunday, almost 6PM and we came in without an appointment she said she would be fine with finishing off her day by helping us out and to give us the last tour of the day! Let me say the tour was not 10min but 1 hour long (POSITIVE)! Angela showed us around and made us feel incredibly welcome! She did not leave out a single facility the complex was offering which I have never seen before in my life! After 30min into the complex, we were looking at a furnished model room to get an an impression of how big my studio would be and to get some inspiration of how it could look at the end of the day. Again, I have never seen any leasing agent be so professional. While my mom and I looked at each other already knowing, that I will apply at this complex, Angela asked if we would like a little break and asked us if we'd be interested in snack and a drink. My mom and I looked at each other and didn't quit understand the assignment until she opened the fridge which was full of soda, water, snacks, you name it! Long story short, every employer can be happy to have an employee who is as dedicated and amazing in their job as Angela! This review is only for the leasing experience as I did not end up taking a unit here. Elaine was highly informative and responsive throughout the entire application process. Another review here noted that they take a $500 holding deposit, which is pretty standard for these types of buildings and they also specify that they will return your money within 21 days. You are not pressured to apply and put down the $500 holding deposit if you are not serious about leasing a unit. Everything about the application process was very clear and up front, and the staff takes the time to walk you through all of it in person and responds quickly by email. read more

I've lived in good old glorious KTown for about 3 years now. No matter how hard I try to leave this hell hole of a city it seems to shackle me here. Sure the food is good and there are things to do, but I don't even want to go outside. It's hard to stay inside because of all the helicopters and police sirens that blare on a nightly basis. My lease was up, and I thought about moving back to Orange County or any other county. Then one day on the way to work I drive past Aria hotel. I thought to myself what is this baller ass building? I did some research and fell in love. I made an appointment and William showed me around. I couldn't believe what I was walking through. A dog park on the roof? A one acre walking area that's dog friendly? Korean bbq tables all along the roof? A gym that rivals 24 hour fitness? A heated pool? Floor to ceiling windows with crazy views? A WASHER AND DRYER INSIDE THE FREAKIN APARTMENT??? There's no way I could afford this place. Only doctors lawyers and nba players can live here. Then William proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and gave me pricing. The rest is history. Not only is this place drop dead gorgeous. But the amenities are ridiculous. Parking is awesome. The concierge is super helpful. Yes I said concierge. They have a concierge here that does everything. Cleaning people are cleaning something every 5 seconds. Security looks like they can actually take down some intruders. And the property managers are incredibly informative and friendly. Yes I still live in stupid ktown but ktown looks so much beautiful looking out from floor to ceiling windows. Also I don't have to worry about my dog getting jacked when I take her for a walk at night. If you are unfortunate enough to live in this hell hole of a city, there is a heaven at Kurve. read more

DO NOT LIVE HERE. This place is very charming from the outside, but falling apart on the inside. The staff is very pleasant for the most part, especially the leasing and cleaning people. But there's only so much they can do if management won't stay on top of their "LUXURY" building. Luxury is not local gangs spray painting on your building every day. And I mean every day. Sometimes they paint over it quickly and other times they just leave it up for days. So if you plan on having anyone over, just know that they're probably going to see that, as well as the homeless encampments outside that they do nothing about. There's literally the biggest tent right outside the front office, and it takes over the entire sidewalk giving people no access to walk. Trash and junk everywhere it's very unsanitary and unsafe. There's also a newer one on wilshire that is completely taking over the sidewalk as well. And pleaseee don't get me started on the whole facility across the street that allows homeless people to camp out on there property where you can walk out at anytime and see them doing drugs and waiting to get into the facility for showers and such. With all this you'd think there's really good security measures in place right? But NOOO , the gates have literally been wide open for the past couple of months. 24/7 anyone can just walk into the parking structure and gain access to the property. And although there are some good security guys who seem to do their job, there's also some that look like they wouldn't be capable of stopping any "bad guys" if they wanted. There's no real standard for security and the security is constantly changing. On top of all that this place STINKS. And by stinks I mean it smells like a zoo. The trash chutes do not work and it does not seem like they ever plan to fix it. It's been over a year that they have been working, so everyone has to throw their trash into the trash room on their respective floor until someone comes to collect the trash. They try to mask it with all of these scent bombs but it's literally impossible it smells BAD. There's no excuse for this, although they will blame it on the company that repairs the chutes. And let's talk about the other stinks... Hopefully you're one of those people who are completely too busy to use the amenities, because if you want to you will constantly be having to avoid stepping in dog urine and feces on the 6th floor. There's a pet relief area that no one uses, because instead they just let their pets go all over the concrete EVERYWHERE. You better know how to play hopscotch, because if not you're going to be slipping and sliding in you know what! And since this is done repeatedly every day over time it ends up being a permanent smell. So don't think about getting some fresh air on the 6th floor because you're going to be getting some fresh ammonia smells. The people here with their pets are out of control and there's no one to stop them. And when you complain all they do is say "try to take pictures if you see it". How about you use all these expensive security cameras you have and a little effort to crack down on it? And I almost don't blame them because when you walk past the pet park you can smell it a mile away. Rinsing down the sidewalk a couple times a day is not a permanent solution. That should be for accidents, not routine dog business. Hopefully you're not allergic to dogs, because they also allow people to have their dogs at the pool in the day beds as well as on the bean bags in the common areas. There's really no limits. Take a look at the back of the furniture and there's urine stains on everything that are never cleaned. So if you're resting on an outdoor sofa and you smell something.. you guessed it! As if that isn't enough, the flooring in these brand new apartments squeak as if they're old. When you step on planks your foot feels like it might go through one. And the AC units sound like freaking monster trucks. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

The parking gate has been broken for 2 months, and when I brought this up to Jonathan, one of the leasing agents, he shooed me off and was kind and friendly to everyone else that was a different race. Beware, top floors do not have water pressure regulators. We have a top floor unit that more/less 50% of the time gets low pressure at night or mornings in the popular times to shower. When called up several times for service they keep mentioning it is repaired and give you the ring-a-round. Management acts like they care and will reply to put in a service request but it is never repaired time after time. Management is terrible with problems and knows absolutely nothing about the poor quality of the building. The management and leasing both lied to us when moving in about services offered and deliverables for our lease. Hallways are noisy, we hear everything in the hallway. Floors are very bad quality. That's about it. The doorbell works though! Great perk if you are looking for a place with a doorbell. read more
