I live in LaGrange and I went to PT Solutions in La Grange. Samir was my Physical Therapist there. The quality of care that I received was outstanding. Last month I had my left knee replaced. I knew that I wanted to return to PT Solutions for my PT. When scheduling my appointments, I found out that Samir had moved to the Downer's Grove facility. Although the La Grange location was much more convenient for me, I knew that what was most important was working with Samir again. So now I am driving an extra 20 minutes to my appointments to do that. My recovery after surgery has been amazing. Samir is so thorough and listens to my concerns. He answers all my questions and is more that willing to adjust my therapy appointment based on my physical ability on any given day. Modifications are always there for people who don't can't do an exercise the "standard" way for a range of reasons. MBS is very beginner friendly but great for advanced people too. First of all, I am such a skeptic, don't believe in this at all AND I hate needles. I had been…read moresuffering with muscle pain in my right arm due to repeated use during my volunteer work. I visited my doctor in early December when I became so uncomfortable because of the pain. I could not push open a heavy door or lift anything even just somewhat heavy. I couldn't reach behind me and the pain woke me as I slept. My doctor recommended PT and I met with a therapist in January, where I was given several exercises and directions to attempt to ease my pain. I found some relief but not enough. I was still taking Tylenol and Aleve in an effort to function and to sleep. In May, a gentleman where I volunteered told me acupuncture helped him greatly. Still skeptical , I mentioned this to a relative and she encouraged me to give it a try since her husband went to Frank Grill and found this treatment to be remarkably helpful. So I went , less than enthusiastically, but I found both Angela and Frank Grill, two very kind people, assured me that this could indeed work. The "happy ending" is this. After only two treatments, I was off the pain medication. After my next treatment , I found myself able to lift items up to 5 pounds but , most of all, I can sleep without pain. I am no longer that skeptic. One of my best decisions ever. (Oh, and the needle part? I hardly knew he was "poking at me" )

I saw three neurologists, a pain management specialist, had Radio-frequency ablation which only made it worse, tried different types of pain medication and went to a physical therapist. Nothing worked. I was at my wits end. A friend recommended Frank. After 2 treatments I started feeling better. After 4 more I no longer had any pain! I was pain free for 13 months and felt wonderful... Early this fall the headaches returned. I had other health issues that may have caused the headaches to return. I visited Frank again and Voila! After 5 treatments the headaches are gone! I have to say, "It's amazing!" I highly recommend Frank. He's kind, considerate, down to earth and is wonderful about explaining the how's and why's of the practice of acupuncture. I plan to set up a maintenance program with him. After his initial assessment, the team agreed he needed 30+ hours of weekly ABA therapy to support his development. Unfortunately, Rush consistently failed to deliver. Despite the agreed-upon plan, our son never received more than 17 hours per week, even during summer sessions it was decreased even further down to just 13 hours. Early intervention is critical for autistic children to build essential skills in communication, cognition, and social development, as emphasized by every autism support group we've joined. Rush's inability to provide the recommended therapy hours has hindered our son's progress. Worse, Rush made recommendations that seemed contrary to his best interests, such as reducing his weekly hours after he missed a few days over a couple of weeks or allowing their therapist make medical diagnosis when they have no training to diagnose medical conditions. This lack of commitment and follow-through has been deeply disappointing. We expected a center dedicated to supporting autistic children to prioritize their needs, but Rush fall far short of that standard.
