I normally go here while I'm at work because it is the only food place that Tanger. I'm not talking about snacks. I'm talking about actual food. Today when I got there, they were cleaning the oven, which was no big deal hiccup playing with my pizza while it was in the oven And sliding it from one side to the next. When I asked him what he was doing, she told me not to worry about it because my food was still going to cook properly. I walked back to work, start eating. My food noticed that the crust is extremely dark. Then I moved another piece of pizza out of the way and saw that it just looked burnt and oily. First time eating here. We were hungry and decided to try the pizza here instead of leaving and getting one elsewhere. Simple menu, nice layout inside, clean restrooms and the service was fast. They say the dough is made from scratch every day. They have a special Monday through Thursday cheese pizza is $4.99 and pepperoni is $5.99. Since we were here on Saturday our pizza was $13.99 for pepperoni lovers pizza. We got bottled drinks only to realize after the fact that they actually had fountain drinks which you would not notice until afterwards-see photo. I don't even want to know how much they cost. They only had limited Pepsi products, Gatorade and pure leaf tea in bottle form. More Pepsi products in the fountain area. If I had known I would have preferred a root beer instead of Mountain Dew. All in all the pizza was good and fresh but on the small size. For hungry adults this is a snack and we will definitely have to get something else to eat in a hour. We probably would have been better off each one getting a pizza which would have filled us up. Like I said the pizza wasn't bad it was good but just know going in that this is not a meal for 2 but 1. Me, my girlfriend, and her best friend were in Southaven at the mall, and we needed food. I have a lot of food allergies, and we stopped here to ask if I could have food. Within about 2 seconds the first person I saw confirmed I could eat and we got delicious pizzas and calzones (they call them wrap ups) in less than 10 minutes. It is hands down the easiest dining experience I've ever had at a place I've never been before. Unbelievably courteous, great atmosphere, and amazing food. 10/10 read more

I didn't get their names but they went above and beyond to make my experience memorable, and had great attitudes during our visit. I wanted to give them a try since they had a gluten-free and vegan option. Should've stayed away. I wasted $14 on an expensive and nasty pizza. We have two big places like this: Uncle Maddios and Blaze and they are way better and cheaper. I have NEVER paid $14 for a Gluten free pizza with vegan cheese. We have all eaten at pizza joints that claim fast pizza. Usually the crust tastes and feels like cardboard and the few toppings you get are bland. That is 100% NOT the case here. The crust is as good as it gets. They also have gluten free crust but I didn't try it. The sauces are amazing, especially the pesto. The toppings are plentiful and flavorful. And excellent cheeses! This was my first time visiting rise pies in tanger outlet, and I was impressed! The pizza was cooked perfectly and crispy within seconds ! It's a similar restaurant to pyros, but just not as many toppings to choose from . If you're at tanger outlets, and hungry I'd recommend eating here . I give it 1 star because everything tasted canned. The sauce tasted as if they just poured it out of the Chef Boyardee can. The ingredients were scarce, and again, flavorless. Now let's talk about crosscontamination; the lady adding the ingredients kept pushing her glasses up with the back of her gloved hand then back into the cheese. The guy taking the orders dropped a container of pesto sauce into the tomato sauce, then fished it out without changing the gloves that he had on while writing said orders. I saw 2 boxes of gloves on the counter but saw no one change theirs once the entire time we were there. Now, I am not a germaphobe, and I know from experience what happens in a restaurant kitchen, but when the customer is able to see everything, I think the staff would be a lot more on point. I think this place needs some more training. Although the concept is a good one, other pizza places with the same idea (Pyros) outshines this one in every aspect. The food was real good and it would have been a good experience but the girl that was building our pizza stopped after she started and answered her cell phone. Really?? Daughter and I went out for a day shopping. This is the only restaurant in the mall so we decided to try it. I should have known something was off since it was 12:30 in the afternoon and NO ONE was eating there. The employee who took our order acted like we had interrupted her favorite tv show. I could barely understand what she was saying because she wouldn't speak up. Since we were the only people there the food was ready fairly quickly. We sat at a table about 10 feet away from the counter. Employee placed pizza on the counter and said "your order is ready" and walked off to the back. She couldn't be bothered to walk it to our table or offer us plates. Since she was in the back, we couldn't ask for Parmesan cheese or plates and had to eat on napkins. It was a perfect lunch spot during a busy shopping trip. I had the Gluten Free Crust and it was similar to the typical GF crusts I have had at other restaurants. The employees were accommodating to the GF preference and were prepared to go full out GF. It is just a preference for me, so I don't require the extreme precautionary methods required for an allergy. However, they all seemed prepared to handle with care. It tasted delicious. First one, god knows what happened they just tossed it in the garbage after they took it out of the oven. So I had to wait for a second one, well that one was not even cooked.
