I was looking for a wholesome yet healthy place to eat, and stumbled on Rise. My friend and I grabbed breakfast here on Saturday and I was very pleased. As soon as you walk in, you see trendy meets classic design and I loved it. Hanging plants, flowers on the tables, etc. A great place to come alone or with a large group. We realized the menu is seasonal, so even though I looked at the menu the night before, I had to look again. I settled on a standard waffle with whipped, salted honey butter, a side of scrambled eggs and a side of sausage. My friend got the biscuits and gravy and coffee. We both LOVED our food and I ate it so fast, no pictures. You order at the front counter, but served your food and drinks by the servers. Our service was great, no complaints. Everyone we interacted with was helpful and kind. I highly recommend you try Rise if you're looking for a good solid breakfast place downtown.

The place inside is super cute and chic, they offer you free water when you sit so that was nice. I ordered to go so I can't say anything about the service but the people in the front were ok, but I will be taking off a star because when she handed me an "unopened" drink there was a hair inside which was gross, she just brushed it off and gave me another one. The prices is another thing it is on the pricier side BUT the food is fresh, it's not overly processed and it says it's locally sourced so that explains the price. Now the food the sandwich was really nice, the roasted tomatoes and garlic mayo really add to it and the drinks were also good especially the apple pear mint it's the perfect summer drink.

Newer fast casual (French inspired) brunch spot; enjoyed their fresh menu and homemade creations! Order at the counter and they bring your meals and drinks to you. Conveniently located on the square with dine-in and patio seating. Overall solid 4.0 rating for good eats and friendly service. Expect meal cost ~$10-15pp. I tried their Breakfast bowl with Avocado. Fingerling potatoes cooked perfectly with Cheddar, house sausage and a bell pepper creme sauce topped with 2 over easy eggs - filling and tasty! Family also tried the Croque Madame sandwich and Eggs Benedict with Ham. Both dishes were excellent, especially their sourdough toasted bread! The side salad had a heavier lemon and mustard seed flavor, but was a nice combo with the sandwich topped with a Sunny egg. The Benedict was rich with flavors and poached eggs prepared perfectly. I tried to order a Biscuits and Gravy side but they had run out for the day. A good reason to come back and try again when in Springfield MO. If you like breakfast or brunch, check out Rise for a French inspired hearty meal. Enjoy!!

I was visiting Springfield for a work trip and stumbled upon this place. The food and chai was delicious, and the people there were very nice. If I'm ever back in Missouri, I would definitely stop by again.

Avocado toast and cold press juice. Both delicious.

We enjoyed our Sunday morning breakfast. Spacious indoors with walk up & order bar. Quite a few outdoor tables on a pet friendly patio - saw cute pups chilling in a shade. Nothing too extravagant on a coffee menu, just a nice common drinks variety. We ordered avocado toast and sweet potato bowl. Both delicious and great breakfast options. My personal pet peeve - I asked for a bowl without an egg, but was still charged a full price. I know if I asked for an extra egg, they would charge $$ extra for it. So why not to subtract for egg I asked to remove? Overall, great food, great atmosphere, will come back for sure.

Food was good but a little pricey for a cafe. The ambiance was casual with friendly staff

We stopped here on a Sunday morning on our way to Bentonville. We did not expect the good to be so good! It was one of the best breakfasts we've had on vacation! The pasture raised eggs were perfectly cooked and the coffee was very good. We even had a butterfly stop by!

This was our first time here, and boy I am glad we came. When you walk in, you order at the counter, then you sit and wait for your food/drinks. It was a fairly quick ordering process. My husband and I both got the breakfast sandwich 4 and split the pancakes & chocolate. I also ordered a mocha cinnamon latte with almond milk. The latte was good, but I didn't get any of the cinnamon flavor. I still liked it, since you can tell it is high quality espresso. We got our drinks pretty quick, and our food was less than 10 minutes later. The breakfast sandwich doesn't come with any sides, which I think is perfect because it allows you to split something else with someone. The breakfast sandwich is actually fairly large, and you get to pick your choice of brioche or wheat. We both picked brioche. My husband asked for sriracha which they didn't have, but they do have their own house made green hot sauce was pretty good, sweet & spicy. Now for the star of the show: those pancakes! These were basically s'more pancakes with honey sea salt marshmallows, candied pecans, and a beautiful, rich chocolate sauce underneath. I also love this portion size because it was easily splitable. Lots of places have massive dinner plate-sized pancakes and give you 2-3 of them, but this is a manageable portion. This meal was absolutely perfect to split. My husband and I both have things we want to try the next time we come here, including the breakfast bowl and the baklava waffles. You should definitely come check this place out. It's very cute with wonderful food, and a surprisingly quick brunch downtown, which is hard to find.

Chocolate pancakes in the back, and a variety of egg Benedict plates from their new menu in the front of the picture.

A couple of things to know about Rise. They have a brand new menu, so I challenge you to try it. It's very unique and blended for every variety of taste. First off, the sisters that own Rise have put their heart and soul into it. They are some of the most amazing and hardest working women I know. Second, when you choose to give them your business, you are literally also investing in truly locally sourced food. This means that you're not only getting the best ingredients, you're also getting local flavors and investing in your own city. Did you know even the syrups in their lattes and drinks are home-made!? I have seen some people complain about wait times.... First and foremost, the food is prepared FRESH. No frozen-instant-box items go into your food. Quality takes some time. When you go there, understand it's not about quantity (as in trying to bring massive amounts of customer churn in and out of the place like corporate restaurants), it's about quality. The owners care about the food they prepare for you so much, they literally work alongside their staff. Both in the kitchen and upfront. Now ask yourselves this..... How many local restaurants do you know where the actual owners aren't just managing behind the scenes and are actually upfront and making your food from scratch? That is literally how much they care about your food and your experience. Go and support this business. Your are investing into your taste buds, empowering hard working women to succeed, and growing the area you live in.

Pretty good breakfast. Downtown Springfield, nice ambience. Food quality is good. Nothing that drove me crazy, which is why I didn't leave a 5 star review. My boyfriend got eggs, with bacon and sausage. He thought food was over priced for what it is- I can't say I disagree but that's debatable. I wouldn't discourage anyone from coming here. They get pretty packed on the weekends. You come in, order and they give you a number and then you seat yourselves. I get a modern vibe- definitely not a diner type place.

Little euro joint in Park Central Square. Food was so amazing, including juices and coffee drinks. Staff was so helpful and so friendly. Patio seating looked amazing and will be popular all this summer. Stop in for breakfast!!!

Three hours to get our meal & eat was an incredibly long period of time. It was freezing in there--the room temperature was zero.

Echelon Coffee is a really solid coffee spot that clearly takes what they do seriously…read more The coffee is excellent, and if you go on the weekend, the biscuits and gravy are absolutely worth it. It feels like there's a lot of care behind everything they serve. It also has that feel of a well-run, possibly family-driven operation -- like everyone involved knows their role and executes it well. The vibe is good, the space is inviting, and it's just an enjoyable place to spend some time. Service is okay usually, but I came through the drive through around 7 AM on Friday, 2/6 and was very disappointed. I was the only vehicle in the drive through from start to finish. I ordered the açaí bowl, and pulled to the window as directed. I waited a good 7-8 minutes, then the employee opened the window with the card reader and gave me the total. No "hi, hello, good morning," just the total. I waited a few more minutes and then the same employee opened the window and handed out my food without a word. I thanked him for the food and he just closed the window. The customer service was completely absent from the transaction. I don't expect a full conversation, but a simple greeting at the window or "you're welcome" when I got my food would have been nice. I also thought the (at least) 10-minute wait for an almost $14 after tax açaí bowl was a bit much, but I usually don't mind if the food and service is adequate. Not sure if the employees were just having a rough day, but the experience was disappointing at best and at 7 AM it has the potential to set the tone for the rest of a customer's day. Note - picture is after I mixed the bowl. It looks prettier when you first get it, and is more satisfying when you walk away with a better experience.
