It sounded like a lawn mower. I called him back and was going to come back in a few days. I told him I was done. My brother who lives in another state and is not a repairman, was able to diagnose the issue, ordered a part, drove to Illinois and fixed my machine in about 30 minutes. The whole repair job was only $20. I have always dealt with Henry's in the past and been happy with their service. I am very disappointed with the service I received this time. I won't be calling them in the future. My advice . . . Check their work before they leave your house.

When my washer went out, I called 4 different places and left messages. Only one called me back. I spoke to the owner on Wednesday after 4, he was able to come out on Friday. Shockingly, the washing machine was repairable. With its age and the problem being electrical, I was aware it might not be. The owner was friendly and kind; I enjoyed our conversation. At the same time, I never felt like he wasted my time. I also didn't feel like he was trying to sell me on something, like many other places do. My over the counter microwave has now broken and I feel very comfortable calling Henry's for that repair as well.

Note to managment: When a customer who is complaining hears "Bless your heart" it's like they're being told to "go to hell" or worse.

Once inside, you are treated to an array of vacuums (older repaired models as well as brand new Riccar vacuums). Michael is an incredible repairman with a wonderful personality. I took my DC07 Dyson vacuum, which is a wonderful machine that had lost suction. He knew right away what it needed. He demonstrated why with a test using a glove that he wore, as he showed how many fingers it took to stop the vacuum's rotating brush. His knowledge of any and all models of vacuums is incredible. He will tell you straight whether or not a given model is repairable, as many of the flashy new models are severely flawed in their design. He will also accept any broken, unfixable vacuums that you don't want and he will recycle them at no charge. He fixed my Dyson as good as new and I could not be happier. This is a great place and you will not find anyone else in the area that can do what Michael can do.
