Consistently good baked goods. Had their cinnamon roll with plenty of caramel topping. Good coffee. My wife had a caramel ice cream filled donut. She felt it was too sweet. I like sweet and have had these choices in northern Indiana. Also had some of their products at the Mansfield Covered Bridge Festival. Always good. Closed Sunday. Don't miss out on a candy they are famous for, "Cashew Crunch". This candy is habit forming and I get it when I can. They have pies, cookies in packages to go. Covid precautions. Very clean. The doughnuts are amazing!! To be honest, best I've ever had and I have had a LOT of doughnuts! They also have SO much more to offer than just doughnuts. People bring them into my office, and it is bad news because once I start and get that taste in my mouth, I can't stop popping the little guys in my mouth. I was first turned onto Rise 'n Roll Bakery about 3 years ago when a vendor brought in their powdered donuts for a business meeting. While they were incredibly delicious, they aren't very forgiving on black pants. Now that the Fishers location has been open for awhile, we've branched out beyond donuts to donut holes, granola bars and other goodies. The caramel iced yeast donuts are my absolute favorite but they're horrible for a diet. The people in the store are very friendly and if you leave there empty handed, you hate sweets. Side note: If you spend $54 there like we did last time (don't judge me) they give you a handy dandy reusable tote bag. read more

Located across from Top Golf in the new 'Fishers District', this is a good option for donuts. We walked in & they recommended the cinnamon sugar donut holes, which were very good! They melted in your mouth and it was hard to stop eating them. Kind of addictive! We didn't try the regular donuts but if you can make awesome donut holes you probably know what you're doing with donuts. Service was quick in/out. Parking is a problem in 'Fishers District' in general, so one of us had to stay in car while the other ran in Rise 'n Roll since we couldn't find even ONE parking place in the small & congested parking lot. Rise 'n Roll is located next to RIZE restaurant, facing north (96th St.). I've heard this is an Amish bakery but not sure. Only suggestion I have is that I think they need new graphics for their logo :) read more

I kept wanting to try this place, but I thought their only location was in Broad Ripple, and the parking over there is terrible. I was thrilled to find out they had multiple locations and that one was in Fishers! Needless to say, my jaw hit the ground when I walked in. The smell was intoxicating! I got a half dozen of assorted donuts. They were huge, but tasted wonderful. Their cookies are incredible! I got some of the lemon crinkle and molasses cookies. They were both great! I also picked up some sweet garlic dill pickles. They are the best I've ever had! They are not as sweet as bread & butter pickles, and they have the distinct dill taste. Everyone was very friendly and even though they are pretty busy, the lines move fast. Definitely one of the better bakeries I've ever been to, and definitely the best in the Indianapolis area! So I went there today, I've had the Amish Crack before at family gatherings. It is FANTASTIC! I went there today to try their donuts and were very impressed. Besides donuts they do have jams, spreads, pickles, pies and some other desserts. I can not wait to try the other desserts they have to offer. The store front does have ample parking and does require masks. They do have enough staff to keep the line moving and I was in and out of the store in about 10 mins. I'm so glad that this bakery decided to open in Fishers! read more

I'm definitely a bit old to be doing any kind of drugs, but when you get the chance to do some Amish crack you just have to go for it. Calm down. I'm kidding. Kind of. The truth is that Rise n' Roll Bakery really is a bakery that has its roots in the heart of one of Indiana's Amish communities. In 2001, a young Amish couple from Shipshewana began baking from recipes handed down from her family over the years. They basically sold off of their porch. After three years of perfecting recipes, they opened the first Rise n' Roll Bakery in Middlebury, Indiana, a small community in Elkhart County also really known for Das Essenhaus. The original bakery really did not use electricity, refrigeration, or modern technology. In 2009, the Amish owners sold the bakery to a non-Amish farmer and his son from Kansas - the company grew and was moved to a larger facility. The original owner stayed employed with Rise n' Roll and franchising began for the company. Rise n' Roll expanded to Central Indiana last year (Greenwood) and a few weeks ago opened up in Hamilton County. They now have 12 locations - all in Indiana. Rise n' Roll offers a decent variety of products including their famed cinnamon caramel doughnuts - Amish crack. I'm telling you - I'm high right now. I mean, I just had my leg amputated about 6 weeks ago - I'm so high I might even walk again. Seriously, though, thanks to a friend I was finally able to try out Rise n' Roll - I'd been craving doughnuts, however, I'm still not able to drive. So, I was ultra-excited when she offered Rise n' Roll and Rebellion all in one day. This is a holy day. It's so holy it's almost worth losing the leg. I'm probably kidding. Seriously, though. These doughnuts are amazing. I've tried chocolate covered yeast, the cinnamon caramel, caramel iced, powdered, cinnamon...I dunno. Truthfully, I'm so high on this Amish crack I'm not really even keeping track. Suffice it to say they're awesome. They also carry pies, sweet breads, cookies, and a variety of other Amish goods. These things are so good I may become Amish. I look pretty darn good in black anyway. The products are preservative-free with only natural ingredients used. You can truly taste the difference. I really love the powdered doughnuts - for a spastic guy like me, they're a disaster. I look like a two-year-old eating his first birthday cake right now, but I don't even care. I might lick my own shirt clean. Fantastic baked goods. Friendly employees. Natural decadence devoid of those addictive preservatives. Amish crack. This place is so amazing! I have been longing for a place to find a good donut nearby. You must come early because the assortment dwindles throughout the day. They are known for their Carmel cinnamon donuts... and listen... when I say they are to die for!?! It's a blissful moment when it hits my lips.. may be slightly dramatized but the taste is not. Very soft, flaky, but packed with flavor. I tried the apple danish, the carmel glaze, and carmel cinnamon.All are added to my favorites. I've been three times in two weeks. It's a must try place! Been reading and seeing lots of posts/pics for this place so I thought I'd stop in. Lots of local goods such as honey, maple syrup, jams, pasta, cheese, and of course their donuts, pies, and other baked goods. It was nice seeing local products sold and there was also a day old section of goods being sold for 30% off. I would have given 4 stars if not for 2 things. First the employee helping us was a bit short in the way she spoke to us, not sure if age played a role in her lack of customer service skills (she looked like a high schooler) or she was tired or what. Second the bag she put our donuts in was splattered in chocolate so I had to hold it by the top corner to avoid getting sticky stuff on me, my clothes, and car. The Frosted Caramel Bavarian donut I got was good. Surprisingly it wasn't as sweet as I thought it'd be... I don't have much of a sweet tooth. The caramel frosting tastes like a butterscotch hard candy, in case you're not a fan of those. The Bavarian cream inside is light and airy and not too sweet. The cinnamon roll was very moist and good but a little heavy on the cream cheese frosting (again, not big on sweets so a bit much frosting for me). Overall flavors are good and I would definitely go back, just hope their customer service steps it up a bit more. read more

A cute little shop in the trendy new Fishers District. Lots of home style bakery items: cookies, pies, breads, donuts. Many canned jams, fruits, etc. Seriously, canned peach halves and pear halves just like mom used to make from our orchard. Tasted the apple pie samples. Whoa baby! Delightfully sweet and fruity with a melt in the mouth crust. Also tried the signature cinnamon and cream cheese donut. Quite satisfying. Saw so many things that appealed - but we were on a short timeline so walked away with only a smile and two packages of cookies - oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip. read more

One of the best bakeries I've ever been to. I've visited a couple of the locations in Northern Indiana and I was pleasantly surprised to see they had opened a location in Fishers! The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a huge selection of bakery items, but the star of the show is their original Cinnamon Caramel Donut. Generally when it comes to donuts, I'm not a fan of cinnamon or caramel. I'M A FAN OF THIS DONUT!! It seems to just melt in your mouth and even though they're huge, it feels like it would be all too easy to eat 3-4 of them. If I can pull myself away from my regular order, I usually will get the peanut-butter filled chocolate iced yeast donut. The filling is light and the donut is fluffy, but it's still delightfully rich and filling. I keep making excuses to go back to Rise n Roll to try more donuts, and each time the experience is top-notch! read more

The first time I had Rise'n Roll was at a bachelorette party when a girl from Fort Wayne brought them down for us. I had thought they were amazing, but hungover me thinks most food is amazing. Luckily, when Rise n' Roll came to Fishers and I was able to dry the donuts sober, I still thought they were amazing. The cinnamon caramel donuts definitely earn their nickname of crack donuts. Add Bavarian cream to that donut and you'll be dreaming about them until you go again. read more

This place is new and my family had to try it. Walking in - amazing atmosphere. The place was packed w breads, jams, homemade noodles etc..... first thing I noticed the cinnamon rolls, they are SUPER thick w a bunch of icing. But, they are $28/dz. what??? We did try the Cinnamon Carmel donut day sample and yes it is amazing. Our family (2 adults and 3 young teens) ended up purchasing a dz sorted donuts. Chocolate and carmel pEanut, apple fritter, lemon cream filled, Heath bar/peanut topped, Bavarian filled and the cinnamon carmel. So far we have tried - chocolate and carmel topped, I do not like this type so I did not try it. My hubby said it was ok, daughter didn't finish hers. Apple fritterr was pretty good almost great. It is huge! The lemon cream (not the typical lemon filling) was ok. I didn't finish it. The cream was not "lemony." Then the Heath bar/peanut was super sweet and my son didn't finish it. Staff seemed irritated we took so long to order (we went in Friday at 1030am so it was not busy when we got there). We informed them it was our first time and they didn't suggest anything or acknowledge. We also bought the 3 cookie pack (one daughter doesn't like donuts - I know *gasp* she seems to like them. She got the chocolate chip cookies. We ended up paying $24 for 1 dz assorted and 3 cookies. End of the day, I would purchase the apple fritter again (no apple taste but ok w me). Maybe the cinnamon carmel too. I would love to try that cinnamon roll at some point. read more
