A few months back, when Rite Aid posted new closures, I decided to switch my entire family's prescriptions back to Walgreens. I called and switched multiples people's prescriptions in my household out to Walgreens. I got off the phone, Well, I got a call back a few moments later, and I was literally harassed by the Korean lady that works there. She started badgering and questioning me, as to why I wanted to transfer my entire family's prescriptions... So I told her that even though this location isn't on the list that's closing down, I didn't trust that. (My husband and I have joked that this must be a drug front cause how else could they have stayed open for so many years when we never see anyone there in store shopping etc. Not to mention if you've come into this location in person the last two years - there's barely anything on their shelves! I was in there two months ago, and there was practically nothing inside, just a few aisles on each end of the store with merchandise, but most of those shelves were even mostly empty) Well, she wasn't having it. She told me I didn't need to switch, or worry cause they weren't going anywhere, and she BEGGED ME TO STAY AT RITE AID. Like, she wouldn't let me get off the phone. I ended up hanging up on her bc she wouldn't stop being so aggressive, and kept insisting I didn't need to leave and that they were staying for the community etc etc etc. Well. I got a text today saying the location is closed. I tried calling, and a pre recorded message came on saying the location, especially the pharmacy has been closed down. Glad I listened to my intuition and switched things over months ago, otherwise I'd be in a pickle today! read more

Tried 4 times to send feedback to Rite Aid corporate and 4 times got kicked out. Like the pharmacy experience, but the alleged corporate "policy" on booze purchase is absurd and ludicrous. At 70 years old you need to not only see my ID AND also scan the back of my license? SERIOUSLY????????? I've never had anything but very friendly and professional service from this Rite Aid pharmacy. Not saying to not believe the other reviews at all, just stating my personal experience only. The service is always fast and wait short - usually filled before I buy what I need in the store. Again, always always completely friendly and helpful to me. They go out of their way to call the Dr if the Rx wasn't there. Top notch. Who does that in the medical industry? I moved here from another pharmacy because the pharmacist was repeatedly getting between me and my doctor - on behalf of my insurance company. And they were advising me to use unreasonable methods that my doctor did not. Never had that stuff happen at Rite Aid. They've even found the cheapest and best way to fill my prescription for me too by trying a code they know - and I don't of course. Reading other reviews shocks me really. I just could not have imagined... I don't get much medication. I never take aspirin (NSAIDS) or over the counter stuff either. My husband has a cold, so I came to get him some Mucinex D. The pharmacy tech, asked to see my ID. She looked at it and said, "Wow, this looks nothing like you. What happened?" Covid happened. A broken leg/long-term disability happened. Parenting a preschooler through a pandemic happened. I came in for meds, not for a critique of my physical appearance from a middle-aged mean girl. I came home to a family that loves me, but this kind of behavior could severely impact someone who doesn't have emotional support. Pharm chick, I take comfort in knowing that I'll look like the girl in my driver's license photo again; but you--you'll still be living with that personality. In the meantime, I'll take my business to Walgreens until Rite-Aid learns to hire professional employees. read more

Rude pharmacy staff. They just ignore you and put you on hold if you call them. They don't answer your questions. They just put you on hold automatically on purpose (for no reason). We need better customer service from this pharmacy asap! read more

DO NOT TRUST THE PHARMACY AT THIS RITE AID!!!! We were customers here for years. Probably 20 years. Well, I found out 2 months ago, they've been giving me the wrong medication for a FULL YEAR. This means 12 months, nobody checked the original RX to be sure they were giving me the right medication! Now, I am having to go through medical testing, because their error could cause cancer! Their regional VP, Nirmal Singh was calling me almost DAILY at the start of this fiasco. Trying to cover their asses for their horrible error. Suddenly, his calls stopped & I can't get him to call me back. It's unreal how they seemed to care at first & now, I am nothing but a fly buzzing around their faces. That's probably because they want me to back down but they've got another thing coming. I'm only getting started! So, please, go ANYWHERE but Rite Aid. Their risk management department is a nightmare to work with as they are so vague & want to do this vague dance with me. I don't "do" vague. I want answers. I want them to pay for their mistake by paying for my medical testing but they keep saying things like, "If you feel you need the test, have it done." Without ever saying, "WE WILL PAY". They don't dare say "We will pay" because they don't WANT to pay! I'm sorry to even put up this awful review but their negligence could cause me to have cancer and I am NOT having it. I am contacting the news as well (and already have a reporter ready to tape my story as soon as I give them the OK). One of the pharmacists even went so far as telling my doctor, "Well, it's fine, she's on the right medication now." WHAT? For the record, her name is Noriko. The manager is a really nice man but he will probably end up losing his job for his pharmacy being run so poorly. I shudder to think of how many others were also given the WRONG MEDICATION! Frankly, I think that whoever filled my RX incorrectly for 12 months straight, every one of them should lose their job. Pharmacy fails to fill prescriptions on time. Usually my husband has to go in and wait 15 minutes to get a refill even when their system said it should be ready the day before. Last time he waited an hour, apparently they forgot about him! Refills are consistently delayed for no apparent reason. It's been like this for years, the only reason he puts up with it, is because it's on his way home from work. read more

I'm not sure why there are bad reviews for this Pharmacy. I have been getting my prescriptions here for a few years now. They know who I am and they are always polite, apologizing if there is a delay. They thank me for being patient and tell me to have a nice day. Maybe the difference is I AM patient and don't tap my foot and get rude like so many do. Many of them are of foreign decent and I feel this can motivate people's negative impressions. It's weird; I think they test applicants in this pharmacy to make sure they have a maximum IQ not to exceed 60. I say this jokingly but I'm also serious, I have no idea how they do it, stay in business that is. I could list several examples but will limit it to a couple. One time I had someone arguing with me that the medication was not available in the strength on the prescription, to which I said "I would believe you if I hadn't already gotten it, but I can bring in the empty bottle from home to show you." which is what I had to do, then he said, "Oh, well I guess it does come in that strength, but we don't carry it." Ok, then just specify that and don't just say it doesn't exist. Another time I went in there to pick up a prescription, the woman there said they didn't have it, and I said I called it in a couple days ago, and she keeps saying they don't have it, to which I asked "isn't your phone number 481-8667 ?", and she says, "no, I don't think so" I ask, "you say you don't think so, do you mean it isn't your number? or you're not sure?" she asks someone else and says "no, that must be the downtown Bothell Rite Aid." (really? hmmm, I thought, I could swear it was here, well ok.. ) So I head down to the other location, thinking I must have messed up. Nope, they checked the computer and said they could see it was waiting at the Canyon Park location, and indeed 481-8667 is their prescription refill line, surprise, surprise. Aaargh, I had to do a little mini vent to tell them that they were always screwing things up at that location, I apologized but said I was getting exasperated. Then the woman behind me in line says, "are you talking about the Canyon Park Rite Aid? Oh my god they are a bunch of retards there, I will never go back" Wow, ok, so it's not just me? No, it's not, there's countless other stories but I'm bored with this subject now, just trying to warn other unsuspecting victims. I must also say the manager of this store in an ass, which may be the trickle affect experienced in the entire store, but there is one cashier there that is the sweetest thing ever, or I'd give it a 1 star rating. I have had Rx's filled by Brian and Thu, the pharmacists for over 12 years - accurately, timely, and have had excellent clear advice. Additionally, Marci and Tami have been pharmacy techs there for over 20 years. You can't beat friendly familiar faces at a neighborhood pharmacy. I know this is a big chain place, but with long-term employees like these four, it feels like hometown. Introduce yourself and get to know them - they've got your back. read more

This is your standard Rite Aid, typical drug store stuff. I like this location because the parking is easy and it's regularly pretty dead inside you rarely have to stand in a line to check out. The floor plan here is a bit odd, stuff is on angles so it can get confusing but it works well enough. read more

The cashier lady that is always working during the mid-day time frame is just not nice at all. She scowls and is near-hostile - like WHOA what did I ever do to you, lady! This is by far one of the least welcoming Rite Aid's I have been to. It is dimly lit inside, none of the employees seem to really care about their job and they are constantly walking around in a bad mood. The last time i went in to grab a few christmas items one of the store clerks followed me around the store, then when he finally asked if he could help me find something i told him what i was looking for(perfume gift sets) he got really irritated and stomped half way down the isle to grab a hair gift set and shove it in my face. Not only was it not was i was looking/asking for, but I really could have done with out the rude gestures and creepy stalking. read more

I go here a lot, seems with 4 kids there is always something. I haven't had any extreme negative experiences, in fact I've had a very positive experience. I had the flu and was prescribed Tamiflu. I was feeling so crappy i don't even know how I got to the pharmacy and home, but the tech there, wish I could remember her name, somehow magically found a way to bill my tamiflu even though I didn't have any insurance information with me and had not used my new insurance from my new employer yet. I'll be forever grateful to her for getting me the drug at only copay- i went home and took it and could honestly feel my body changing within the first hour. read more

This pharmacy is disorganized and has terrible customer service. The techs often seem surprised or annoyed that I am there to pick up a prescription. Their form of greeting is "Date of birth" -- no smile, no eye contact, no "Hello." To fill a prescription in the store you have to stand behind a sign. No one behind the counter every looks up, so you can wait forever until you walk up to the desk anyway and complain. As often as not, even after receiving a text stating that a prescription is ready, the techs will say that there isn't anything for me. I have to beg them to look again. So today I transferred my prescriptions to the QFC across the street. read more

Typically the experience here is great. Tyrone has wonderful customer service skills and is always very polite. John... wow John is not nice. Purchased 4 red bulls and a water, all which were on sale via wellness plus card. When making my purchase the cashier has always before asked if I had my card. John, did not ask however. When I asked if we could go back and add the discount John responded by telling me how inconvenient it is to do so, clearly waiting for me to leave. I wanted to stay for my extra money, as most would. So John proceeds to ring back through my purchase, seemingly the slowest he could, whilst telling me how inconvenient it is and suggesting I put my card through next time as to not cause problems. I could be wrong but I am nearly certain that they are SUPPOSED to ask. If you don't do your job right the first time, DO NOT BLAME THE CUSTOMER!!! If I got John's name wrong he is an older white male, roughly six feet tall with glasses. He claimed to be the manager. Easily worst customer service I've received at any grocery store.
