The audacity of the pharmacy employees to be as absolutely rude as they could possibly be is insane. It feels like they go out of their way to make sure their customers know their customers are inconveniencing them. One pharmacy tech, whose first name starts with a J, not long ago, spent forever ranting about how much he hates his life and how he would off himself if it wasn't for his cat. No lie. Tonight was just the last straw for me as I waited at the drive through for 15 minutes before even being helped at all other than one time when they said "we'll be with you in a few minutes". The pharmacy staff is appalling and just one more example of why Rite Aid will eventually go completely out of business. You know who's great? AMAZON PHARMACY. This pharmacy generally sucks. The staff ranges from kind and polite to snotty and irritable, and they're consistently understaffed. They're not afraid to tell you how understaffed they are, I've been told it's a miracle my prescription could be filled same day at all. If they'd staff their pharmacy correctly they might actually be decent, but I have lost hope that this location will turn around and I'm trying to take my business elsewhere. read more

ive been coming to this specific Rite Aid for years, mostly just to add money to my prepaid cards & never had any problems until recently with what looks to be some new staff members. one 'bimbo' in particular was so incredibly dumb, a liability, & lacking any customer service skills. i waited in line while 'bimbo' wouldnt acknowledge the ppl waiting. newb looked terrified at the thought of working, or helping customers. desperately hitting on one employee who was halfway out the door. i finally walk up to the counter, only to be met with a disrespectful attitude after i attempted to show her the barcode on my phone for her to scan, kept rudely insisting that she needed the money first. (dumbest thing i ever heard) so i immediately moved to the next register; yet bimbo proceeds to yell at her co-worker, getting snappy telling him not to help me. (WTF?) long story short , she was proved incorrect, proved to be stupid, yet too proud for an apology. i'd have rated 1 star if it weren't for the nice gentleman that saved the day & actually knew what he was doing. there may be hope yet for this neighborhood drug store, or maybe not, really must eliminate those dragging it down. sad but true. #bitchtrynastealmymoney. read more

I switched pharmacies just over a year ago bc my former one was not a preferred pharmacy (lower Rx costs). The new one is close to home & preferred by my ins. co. Takes forever to get Rxs filled & now they ran out of a Rx i need right away for a UTI! 27 hrs since MD sent in Rx and still not filled meaning it hasn't arrived yet. They emailed me that it is on urgent order. When the Rx is in stock I've had to wait a long time compared to other pharmacies bc they put u in a queue. Lots of room for improvement here. read more

I have been trying to get my prescription for over 3 weeks. I need my medicine! They call over and over to say it is ready. When I get there I find out it isn't ready and the refill expired. I get my medications here and have been for a few years. I can't think of anything negative to say. They are ALWAYS friendly and courteous, very communicative. I've had the pharmacist call me to make sure I wanted to pay for a medication because the price seemed high, which I appreciate. They are always quick to get prescriptions ready too. Pharmacy is awful. The techs have an attitude they're doing you a big favor. I've gotten there about 15 minutes before closing, only to have the wire screen slammed in my face. Literally, she looked me in the eye doing it. Sarcastic, snotty. If I want attitude I'll go to the local high school. I've mentioned it in that survey they keep pushing on you. No response. Obviously, their training program is working. The people on the floor are usually pretty nice and helpful. But since the remodel the inventory is limited. Unbelievable price markup in rite-aid pharmacy department. Medication that I have since learned elsewhere sells for $12-$14 priced at $66.00 My discovery was accidental and surely out of curiosity what was the actual cost of the medication. The discovery prompted me to contact several other pharmacies including Walmart QFC Costco Safeway for a price check and comparison of the prescribed medication The Primera Blue Cross co-pay on this prescription is $10 and the only covers the first night pills per insurance company limitations therefore forcing you to pay an additional co-pay for the next set of nine pills. Cannot in good conscience recommend this pharmacy and suggest that you as I will be moving all of my prescriptions to a another pharmaceutical provider read more

Minimum wage-ish retail staff are seldom going to be especially intelligent or efficient, but the staff at this particular Rite Aid really takes it to another level (not in a good way). I suspect a person has to flunk some kind of test to get hired. For reasons of convenience, I shop at this location often. Don't ask them where anything is in the store, they have no idea. Sale price signage is never posted on the shelves in a timely fashion. They have nice public bathrooms, unfortunately, they are locked, and the location of the keys to said bathrooms is ever-changing (and of course the staff are confused as to what the latest location is). This store is an absolute JOKE. I try it every time,and am ALWAYS disappointed. This is an ongoing experience. I truly believe the workers are the most incompetent staff I have come across in my life . The cashiers are slow,and NEVER call for a 2nd cashier even though the line is backed up to 10 people. Worst pharmacist ever . Slow with long lines of people waiting . After waiting over half an hour they said my daughters insurance card was expired!!!! What ? Really ? We just came from an Urgent care which we had no problem with , came straight here to get her meds and you said it expired ? She has had this insurance for 6 years! Never in the world did it cross my mind to leave a review for ANY pharmacy at convenience/drugstores!! That's the best part, you just keep coming back.. (: There's a pharmacist that works here, name Teresa... I think that's right. She was working yesterday though! Usually, when a pharmacy don't have your meds/out of stock. They have you check again on a day shipment arrives or check other pharmacies. Whatever, you know the deal!! A BIG HASSLE! Majority of the time they say have it and they don't... Lol Teresa sticks to her words for her clients, works out of her way. She knows how to have clients coming back at this pharmacy, if you ever run into a problem. Last month, a floater at this pharmacy gave me something that wasn't originally prescribed for me. It was the generic of the medication, I normally don't get. Story short, I told him I didn't want to take it and my doctor didn't recommend these ones. He basically tried to make me take it anyways... asked me a lots of questions as if he was my doctor who was the one prescribing it.. I was a bit surprised as to why he even cared about why I didn't want to take it, why my doctor didn't recommend it, did it affect me differently, etc!! Crap like that. Honestly, irritated the shit out of me. I gave in and told him whatever was easier for him. He ALSO told me that, they don't order the meds prescribed to me at this pharmacy, never did!!!! Seriously? I've also got my refills at this SAME pharmacy. Apparently, he wasn't listening to me at all when I told him I've always came here for my refills and that they always had the right ones. ANYWAYS, the pharmacy apologize about what had happen and will never have him back there again. They were extremely understanding about it, called me to keep me updated about my prescription. I didn't expect that from them! Especially how sincere they were about this whole problem! Finally got the right medication prescribed for me for this month! It was a hassle, having my doctor sending my prescription to different places... I eventually ended right back at this pharmacy. Teresa also told my doctors office when they contacted her yesterday, that she ordered extras for my next few months of refills. She called every week to check for it! Teresa got her job on point, knows how to make clients feel important and cared for (: If you run into a problem at this pharmacy, say something in person. STAY AWAY! My last visit to this Rite Aid will be today when I pick up my film that I dropped off a week and a half ago. I stopped by after two full business days to pick it up and was told it would be five to seven BUSINESS days before it would be back from the developer. There were no signs stating this when I dropped it off. I was also told that I would be called when the photos were ready for pick up - that didn't happen. I had to call and ask if they had them. They have screwed up a half dozen prescriptions I placed with them in the last three months. I advise going to Ostroms just down the street. read more

I've been waiting 30 minutes for a prescription that they said was ready. There was also a very long line at the cash register. In addition, the "pharmacist" who checked me out had no idea what my prescription was, as it was different than previous brands. The young woman in the pharmacy is unbelievably rude. I watched her publicly dress down an elderly man for arriving to pick up his needed medication an hour early. I did not want to publicly shame the employee but my expirience definitely needs to heared. On September 8th I went to rite aid and I was looking for something by the beauty department. The manager was staring at me the entire time made me feel uncomfortable.I asked her if they had a lipgloss I was looking for she said no I dont know where anything is most the time...ok.. and the cashier some white kid with blue eyes and glasses was taking pictures of me and I quickly looked up he smiled at me it made me very uncomfortable so I confronted him. His excuse was he SAW me take something and accused me of stealing so he took pictures of me. He had two pictures showing my face. He asked me to empty my pockets which I did I didn't have anything obviously and told him I put my work badge in my pocket. Not only was this FOOL in the wrong for taking pictures of me and falsely accusing me of stealing he also lied when he said he saw me steal something. the manager was aware of him doing that because she didnt say anything! I had to walk over there and tell her I knew what her employee was doing. She made a face like she was annoyed already and said no he shouldnt have done that sorry. That's all she said which is fine but I wouldve rather they called the cops and search me to prove I was innocent instead of taking pictures of me. That's what the cameras are for. The manager also was annoyed for not defending me. When I walked out I waited for my ride and the manage came outside and kept staring at me waiting for me to leave. Again I didnt want to say anything until I went there again and at check out a cashier with Blonde hair was ringing me up and the same cashier was having problems ringing up a customer .While she left to go do something this kid looks over leaves the customer he was supposed to be taking care of to check to see what I was doing when I'm literally just standing waiting for the cashier to come back. smfh treating me like a thief still? This kid is fucking up. He keeps annoying me even after he's wrong. I go into that store before I work at night I wait inside for my bus stop to feel safe. I walk 40 mins to get there wait maybe buy something and leave unfortunately he works evenings so I dont feel safe going into the store at night because he would keep harrasing me or pull some bullshit I dont have time for. read more

With recent personal issues that seemed to slip through the cracks of what doctors could address this store has been wonderful. The pharmacists and nurses have been kind and compassionate and quick to direct me to any products I needed, along with advice. At checkout also always very friendly and courteous. This review is not for Rite Aid as a company, just this location. It happens to be a convenient location, as I drive by often, which is why I've given it more chances than I wish I would have. Their customer service is exceptionally bad, like they really don't want you there. Maybe they would be happier without customers, but without customers what's the point, right?!? Every time I am there just to purchase a few items, I am made to feel like I'm inconveniencing the staff or interrupting something that is more important. I am a polite individual and am kind and friendly to everyone, so it's difficult for me to understand why the employees at the front counter seem so unhappy and rude to guests. I know that everyone has a bad day sometimes, but this is every time I am there which has been approximately 5 times randomly over the past 3-4 months. Purchasing items here is bad enough, but don't even think about trying to return something, unless you want your head bitten off. Recently, I was tying to take back an item I purchased a week earlier. I had paid full price and had the receipt, so there was nothing questionable goin on. The woman handling my return was so rude to me I came close to tears and almost ran out to my car before getting my money back I was so upset. I had a few items to buy on the counter as well, but declined to do so as I was so upset I just had to get out of there. :(:( The worst part was the person who appeared to be the manager just stood there and watched this go on. So I have two questions... First, why would someone who dislikes dealing with customers choose this occupation? And secondly, why would Rite Aid hire such individuals to fill these positions? This review has nothing to do with the pharmacy, just the store. I have been shopping there for a long time, and have always loved it. It's the only place I shop other than my favorite QFC when it's time to really power shop. I have a Silver Wellness Status, but no one knows how to take advantage of it, but that's another story. The City of Kenmore decided to put a stupid curb in front of the 68th entrance which is one of the dumbest thing I have ever seen! That was almost enough to make me stop shopping there, but it wasn't their fault. I feel bad for Toshi's, UPS and all the rest effected by this. I have a 9 lb Pomeranian that loves everyone, and loves riding in shopping carts. I decided to ask them one time if they allowed dogs, and they to my surprise, said yes! My little girl has been shopping there with me now for years. Everyone was always so nice. One of the checkers would always get a newspaper ad for her to sit on to make her more comfortable. I then made a pad out of a scrap of antibacterial carpet pad. Last night 3/2/17 we were there and had $100+ worth of stuff in the cart when a new girl comes walking up. I thought she was going to meet the puppy like everyone always does, but instead she rudely says "dogs are not allowed in my store, it's a health code violation"! I said that's OK, because we won't be shopping here anymore! Stopped at the cash machine before checking out and now she says dogs are allowed, but not in the shopping carts! For one, she is sitting right were the dirty diapered, germ infested babies sit (nothing against babies, but you get my point), where the birds crap on them when they are left outside, and she is sitting on an antibacterial pad, not bothering anybody! So I guess it would be better to have your dog on a leash tripping people, jumping up on them, and possibly lifting their legs on things (luckily mine is a girl)! To me this was all just stupid, and the classic case of a power tripping new manager! We will NOT be back thanks to the new brunette, oh so mighty manager!! read more
