Always top quality service. I've been a customer of this location and other Rite Aid stores since they acquired Pay-N-Save via the acquisition of Thrifty Payless in the 90s. Rite Aid has never made an error with my prescriptions, never overcharged me, or flogged me off. It's heartbreaking to see so many jobs lost and the glut of vacant stores. All due as a result of corporate failures. I was shocked when Rite Aid moved to acquire Bartells. They were in no position to burden themselves with more debt and responsibilities. Rite Aid acquired Thrifty Payless after Thrifty tried to borrow their way out of trouble. Rite Aid knew better than to repeat that mistake. They literally witnessed and took advantage of Thrifty foolishly burdening the struggling company with more debt buying out virtually bankrupt Thrifty Payless/Pay-N-Save. It is impossible to borrow you way out of debt without a viable plan. Expanding the footprint of struggle stores only results in rapid collapse. I don't know how the acquisition of Bartells went through. Two struggling pharmacy chains - drowing in debt, with suppliers cutting them off, are supposed to magically merge into a debt free company? Nope. A 10 yo peeking at their books would have said this is insanity. Especially given the state and demands of their aging stores and seriously burdensome payroll demands exacerbated by pandemic induced record inflation. Add to this consumers shifting to free delivery of copay free meds via insurance company subsidiary pharmacies, cheaper meds with free delivery via Walmart, Amazon, and others, and the general shift away from brick and mortar. Without significant investment in home delivery, Rite Aid could never climb out of their debt hole. The financials and operations at CVS are unknown to me. What I do know is, If they do not have the infrastructure to provide free home delivery at competitive prices, I do not see their standalone drugs store surviving. Consumer loyalty has given way to convenient and cheapest. Which to most under 40 is Amazon, and to a lesser degree Walmart. Tragically, Amazon can afford to undercut everyone. Regulators need to break Amazon up. They're destroying local economies. I'll save that for later.. afterall this is a review of now defunct Rite Aid. Haha read more

I came here with client to pick up her medication otherwise I would have never stopped here to purchase anything. Very dirty, lots of empty shelves and not friendly employees. I do not recommend this location. The customer service is very poor. The front end cashiers do not speak or engage with you. The pharmacy team is a little better - they speak, greet and thank. They did have cool displays today I'll share because I had not seen them anywhere. Yeah a positive! Lol read more

Remarkably rude employee. Insulting and derogatory. Especially surprising from a 30 something working for a closing drugstore.

We love this store! We moved to Bothell in December of 2013 and used this pharmacy because it was convenient. The pharmacy staff is fantastic. They are always smile, are patient and helpful. They even know our names! I was so impressed with how Brian handled a customer who was very angry because the pharmacy was unable to fill her particular narcotic prescription. The staff is so rude here. I walked in for a vaccine, they asked me to wait for 30 minutes. Ok, I did. They again asked me to come back this afternoon and asked me to make an appointment. On the website it says walk in is fine. This store ruins my morning. read more

I love this Rite Aid in Bothell. Why? Because it's small, staff is friendly and hardly any customers around. You can shop in peace. It's located off of Bothell Way NE and NE 191st Street. I love this store! I started coming to this location a few years ago when my Orthodontist was across the street. I no longer see the same doc but drive from Brier anyway. Today, when I visited, the customer standing in line in front of me relayed how the employee (Taij, currently checking us out) went above and beyond his duties. I stated that I also came to this store because the staff is so friendly and helpful (Taij specifically). I think we embarrassed him a little with the praise, but it is deserved! read more

I spent hours at urgent care tonight and my child needed antibiotics. It was late so I looked for a different pharmacy than our normal one. Their published hours say they stay open until 9pm, but when I arrived I saw that it was closed. The pharmacist was still there and told me they were closed despite what the signage posted on the wall between us said. No apology or customer care was provided. Their online hours haven't been updated. I don't recommend this as a well managed business with any consideration for customer care or my family's needs. read more

I've been coming to this pharmacy for several years. Brian, Marcy, Tammi, and the pharmacy manager (who I'm blanking on his name) have always been very helpful and attentive. They are fast. They text when your meds are done. They answer every question I have. If they are out of a med the call around and find it for you. They're even willing to leave the counter and help you find the right type of calcium if needed (witness them help an older lady with this and I was happy to wait!). I'm thankful that they always have the patients bes interest and safety in mind (even though I've witnessed them being yelled at for not filling narcotics early - it's a law, both their fault). The staff in this drug store were helpful and outgoing. I went in to buy a dog leash. The staff showed me selections in both the pet section and the dollar store section. Then they gave me directions to my sister-in-law's house, which proved to be accurate. read more

horrible customer service. I transferred all of my prescriptions because they had an offer to get 25,000 or 30,000 customer service points (which translate into money you can use in the store) when you tx an RX. They did NOT honor this. I had all the coupons/paperwork and appropriate documentation and they said they were giving me the points and never did!! All I got signed up for was obnoxious solicitation emails from rite aid constantly! Also every time I've gone to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription (called in in advance) they don't have it ready when they said it would be ready. Not good. I'm extremely dissatisfied with Rite Aid as a company, AND this location specifically. Also they wanted $5.50 for cotton wipes ?! Which cost around $1 at other non-ridiculous stores...just atrocious at every possible avenue. read more

This is an absolutely horrible store. The staff is stuck up and rude, doesn't want to help, and thinks they are better than you when you ask a simple question. These guys were our local pharmacy-emergency chocolate-Pepsi-dog food-Tylenol drug store peeps. And then we moved to Shoreline. I MISS these guys so much! Our new local place is the absolute worst! Mill Creek Rite Aid folk - you ROCK! Always helpful, friendly (but not annoyingly so), everything stocked and easy to find. Quick checkout, but not rushed. Few of the pharmacists in the pharmacy are just with a 'don't care' attitude and not helpful. They are never welcoming nor happy for some reason. After many dry and not helpful interactions I am glad I left these folks. The other staff are nice, helpful and welcoming though, but as a patient you need helpful and welcoming pharmacists. read more

Staff is rude. Went to get a money order for rent. (We just moved here) They said the amount we asked for was too high. When I asked what the highest amount we could ask for was the lady refused to tell me and referred me to an entirely different chain of store. This Bothell pharmacy is the best I have ever used. When I called in to fill a prescription I get a text when ready. Recently we had to have our second Shingles shot and EVERYONE was out. I called my drs office and they said just keep calling back. Coming home from work I got a call from Marcy that they got the vaccine in and would we like to drop by. What awesome service! They will even call you if you forget to pick up your prescription before it gets put back. Love the small town feeling. read more

WORST service possible at this store. Seven people in line ahead of me, and another five behind me, and no additional cashiers available as the one other employee went to lunch!! When I reached my turn the manager refused to refund my purchase, although I had the receipt, as they do not stock the item at that store!!! I have to drive to the store from which it was purchased. I can possibly understand circumstances in which one store is a franchise but have never heard of something so ridiculous in a national chain. I usually love going to other Rite Aids, but the Indian guy at this location during evening shift was very rude. He made me wait a long time standing at the register with my unpaid items, even though he was in the front aisle and clearly saw me. He didn't come up until another guy lined up behind me. He rushed me during check out and refused to answer my questions. When I indicated on the pin pad that I wanted cash back, he immediately shut the drawer back and told me to not ask for cash back again! read more

Customer service is adequate and store looks great since remodel, but EVERY time I go there, at least 1 item will ring up incorrectly. It happened again last night. I bought a summer clearance item that was supposed to be marked down by 75% (great deal), but it rang up at full price. Only gave one star because I had to. The pharmacy is an absolute joke. They are extremely rude!! Especially the lady that takes the drop offs. They say your prescription will be done in 15-20 but it truly takes over 30 minutes. I dropped off a prescription for my 3 month old son waited for 30 minutes and it still wasn't done. He was hungry so I had to leave. I came back a week later and they said I would have to wait to have it filled again. I have a baby! I shouldn't have to wait twice!!! read more

Rite Aid Store #05184's pharmacy department has messed with me twice. This last time I went in for my flu shot. I told the man I wanted only the normal flu shot and gave him my medicare card and my drug card. He said "It will be a few minutes". 40 minutes later he came out and said "Did you want the High Dose flu shot?" I said no, the normal dose. He then stated that the girl had submitted the High Dose shot to my insurance and it would be a bit for them to resubmit to the insurance company. In about 3 minutes I was called to the pick up window and informed that my insurance would not pay for the normal flu shot, only the high dose. If I wanted the normal dose shot I would have to pay for it. I had not had a problem for the last 2 years so knew this was not the case. I felt that they didn't want to take the time to resubmit so were just trying to get me to take what they had prepared. I walked out. Went to a different pharmacy and was given the normal dose shot which my insurance paid for. I don't like people thinking I am stupid and that they can pull the wool over my eyes. There is a high volume of seniors in this are and it makes me mad that they will treat people this way. The regular part of this store is great, friendly and competent help but the pharmacy sucks. read more
