Checking out the newsstand area and snack offerings at the Walgreens in the Thrasher's Corner area of Bothell this morning, Wednesday 27 August 2025, I found a few items that matched my tastes. Share size candy bar items were on sale, so I went with a couple of those as well as a TIME magazine issue on Formula 1 car racing (both the sport and the movie released earlier this year). The cashier worker was friendly in our interacting, building interior cleanly and a good temperature, and parking had spots open. read more

I had to use Walgreens because of my insurance. Most of the staff do not speak English. Incredibly frustrating and time consuming. They frequently do not have my medication in stock and it is a common GLP1- they can never figure out the copay card. read more

I understand the complexities that pharmacists & patients face when dealing with insurance & getting their much needed medications. Yesterday, I called Walgreens in tears (yes I did have to wait on hold- but I also understand they r busy & most likely understaffed). But the lady who answered, her name is Jeri, was a complete angel to me. She knew I was in pain & swiftly spoke with the pharmacist to make sure I could get my new medications. Thank you Jeri for your kindness, compassion & grace. The medications help, but it was the patience she held for me that I will never forget. read more

Never have my recurring prescriptions in stock. Today put me over the edge. I had my Mom make a special trip to pick up my prescriptions, one of which I needed that day and was in a liquid form. The pharmacy sent NO measuring spoons with it making it completely unusable until I find someone else to make ANOTHER trip down they to fix their mistakes. I have a million of things such as this that happens to me from using this pharmacy! Choose somewhere else!! read more

I had to work today on a holiday and came in wearing my uniform to use their restroom. I even offered to buy something. Instead, Div, at the front desk, who took a few minutes to acknowledge me refused and said that the restroom is closed. I tried pleading with him because I REALLY REALLY had to go and he refused and told me to go to Safeway or Fred Meyer. HORRIBLE customer service! He sees I'm in my uniform and on the clock and still couldn't help me out. read more

The cashiers at this location are nice and friendly. Like a neighborhood store. I liked that alot. The location and this Walgreens is older. Felt like Hayward or San Leandro type of neighborhood. Could be refreshed. read more

This pharmacy is the worst run business I have ever been to. I went inside to pick up a prescription and there were 12 people in front of me in line. It took 45 minutes to get my prescription, which was already filled. It frequently takes over a day to get a new prescription filled. They have constant employee turnover, and the people behind the counter seem untrained and lost. If you try to call them, they do not answer the phone, I called and the recording said I had two people in front of me, 35 minutes later, I gave up. I am transferring to another pharmacy, I recommend you stay away from this Pharmacy. read more

Staffing issues and other problems have caused pharmacy waits to be 40-70 minutes. Getting anything here has turned to be a miserable experience. Also getting refills never works. I have an automated system that they never seem to follow. Even after calling and scheduling a time it will be ready is not followed and an hour long wait ensues. Sad read more

Wasted my time here in this Bothell store trying to print my passport photo. What was supposed to take 2 minutes took over 30. Their app also does not calculate passport requirements correctly (head size is 2 inches tall!) . Their staff charged me their ridiculous price for me helping them fix their app and self serving myself and using up my time. Fyi, Walgreens charges $14.99 plus tax for two 2 inch by 2 inch passport photos compared to Walmart's $7.44 price. Walgreens will charge you that price even if you bring your own digital photo. To save money, I wanted to print a 4x6 post card with the passport photo in it saving me $14. A Disappointment that they did not know how to make that happen with their store app. Save your time,money and sanity. Do not use Walgreens photo service ever. I don't know which Yelpers are reporting that this store has closed but that's untrue, false, inaccurate. I just called this store on 2-15-22, and a store clerk answered. She confirmed their store is not closed, they don't plan on closing it, and the news that Yelpers were reporting it as closed came as a surprise to her. My question is, does Yelp look into these type of claims before allowing a notice on Yelp saying a place of business has closed down? That could very well have customers looking for another location without bothering to call to find out if that notice is true or false, causing that location to lose business. This is about their photo processing. I am a semi-professional photographer, (very semi) I sell some prints, give away prints and generally plaster my walls with my own prints. If I was a professional photographer and this was my bread and butter - which it is most definitely not, I would get my photo's processed at a higher end establishment (also more expensive). However, I'm not looking for Smithsonian quality prints. THOUGH, I do want them to be beautiful and professional looking. I regularly print 8x10's and 16x20's at Walgreens. Of course, printed photo quality has much to do with file size, the bigger the file, the better the detail, so I've printed even their largest size offered with no issues. I've never found finger prints (which I found on a print from a high end printing company once), blurriness or off colors. The photo's print up beautifully. If your not looking to print for a gallery opening but still want high quality prints, I recommend Walgreens. I've even printed books through them and they've come out beautifully. read more

If you're getting ready to call walgreens, get ready to be on the phone with someone who is very unhappy. My two representatives ( one being the manager ) on the phone with me today sounded like they did NOT want to help me. Their tones were the worst i've ever heard from someone trying to help as a customer service employee. I did not match their tones and tried to be calm maybe they had a hard call before, usually then the person would relax on the other line and be nice but no. They Gave me vague instructions and rudely responded when i was confused on what they were asking. For example, the supervisor of the pharmacy said give me the last 5 numbers, while i was looking at my prescription there are many numbers all over the place. What number are you asking for ? And he rudely responded back Rx number. My problem was resolved when there was a different number to call and i said thank you for your time today and he hung up the phone on me, fast. Do not have this walgreens as your pharmacy. You will experience bad customer service everytime you call, walk in, or drive through. read more

Cashier working Dec 6th at 5:30pm was throwing away peoples coupons and receipts without asking. I forced her to give me my receipt & she immediately threw away my coupons that printed out afterwards not even asking or paying attention as she giggled with the man also working. Didn't even speak to me the entire transaction, she continued a conversation with her male co-worker with no regard for her job or professionalize. Took photos of my grandchildren in for processing. Their printer left a mark on all the photos, so they reprinted to a different printer. I asked for the defective photos so that I knew they wouldn't fall into the wrong hands. Anna, the manager, refused, telling me they would be safely disposed. Now...I don't know who might have access to these photos. These are pictures of children. How hard is it to just let me take them??? People edit photos of children and they end up online on pornographic sites. Why would I want to take even the slightest risk of that? Completely unacceptable and I will not be returning. read more

If you are buying items that have a "sale price" sticker on the shelf double check to make sure you are being charged the sale price. Today I bought 2 items that had a yellow sale sign with the sale price. You can't see the cash register screen, so it's hard to know if you are being overcharged. Later I checked my receipt and had been charged the FULL PRICE. I was OVERCHARGED $19.50 (with tax)! They did refund my money but that was an ordeal. I had to go back to the store, wait in line, then take the Walgreens' employee and show him where the 2 items were located in the store, so he could verify the sale price. Then I had to give him my driver's license so he could scan it! Hey, I didn't need to show my license to buy those items, why do I need to show my driver's license, just to get a refund after being overcharged by you? read more

The Pharmacy is a total dumpster fire. I sat and watched while the clown at the window repeatedly told every customer 10-15 minutes. There was several customers sitting waiting, standing room only. Everyone was angry about it being well past the 10-15 mins wait. Finally after 30 mins most customers were gone even the ones that showed up after me. I decided to go see if my script was ready and they had it sitting there on a pile. Had I not asked I may have sat there for a full hour who knows. I suggested to clown that it'd be helpful to change estimated wait time to 20-30 mins and he said "yea well, probably not" like he knew better. 5 days into my prescription I realized they shorted me half the pills by 20 pills. If there is another pharmacy in ur area try it. read more

I'm so done with this pharmacy! It's the worst experience I have ever had with a pharmacy. They lose refill orders and blame the doctor's office. I am tired of making multiple trips over there, 8 miles each way only to find they're closed for lunch or closed early. I checked their website and it it said they were open until 9:00 but arrived to find they closed at 7:00. And why don't they have staff stagger their lunch breaks so they can remain open? It's not just this one instance but many annoyances. Their app isn't very user friendly either. I really hate this place because they don't seem to care about their customers and manage to frequently make it harder to get prescriptions on time and in a convenient manner. read more

Clean facility. Ample parking. No free Wi-Fi in the building. Plan accordingly. Price of toys is higher than the bad prices of toys at an airport. Tiny box of legos for $14.99. The wait time to get into Swedish express clinic can be long. Appointment time booked online does not guarantee u much of anything by way of punctuality.. #dumb Even more dum is the $195 for a basic Strep throat test. Other places charge $140 so I'm told. The drive thru pharmacy wait over the last few months has been ridiculous. All throughout the day there seems to always be a long wait. The last two times I waited 37 minutes and over 45 minutes. Also, the app is not fully processing the refills or requests and I always need to call.. which is an additional long wait. read more

I went in to fill my Rx- I am double insured- they kept telling me I had no insurance! What??? This review is for the pharmacy. I have been going to this pharmacy for a long time now. But I am now swearing off of this place. Worst pharmacy staff ever! I went in for a prescription in the drive through. I was told that there was no prescription for me. Strange, I thought. Then left. I called my doctor and their office said that they had already sent the prescription to that Walgreens. I went back after two days (on 2nd July, around 3 pm). This time, they asked for my last name and found my prescription. But apparently, they didn't have my insurance information anymore. (again, I have used this place for years now) So, I went in. Showed my insurance information. Then I look at the medicine and I see my dad's name. The staff's response was they accidentally added the prescription to my dad's profile. I understand that mistakes happen. But when they happen, you show some concern for the customer's time that you have wasted. And you apologize for it. That's what I would have done. But nope. Not in this Walgreens. Customer service is beneath the pharmacists here. I am done with this place. I will try the Bartell's that's closer to me. read more

this review is for the Pharmacy. The woman named Naomi should be FIRED! My Dr prescribed me 4 kinds of medication and they only gave me two. If i didn't double check the prescription I will never find out! When I go back, they simply told me they missed it. I asked how can u make this kind of mistake? This is extremely unprofessional! This Naomi came over and asking me to yell at her instead. I asked her why this kind of mistake happened. She said sorry in a very condescending tone and telling me at least we didn't give you the wrong medicine. Are you fucking kidding me? Do they just restock seasonal stuff from last year? My money says they do. Almost everything here is messed with, either the boxes are open or torn. Even the hair color. Although I can buy professional hair color from Ed Wyse, I decided to be stupid and pick up some crap hair color from Walgreens. Although they carry I decent selection, most of the boxes were open. And I hate open boxes. I even hate open magazines. And now I hate Loreal hair lift cause that shit didn't do anything but make my hair raw. There was one lady with red hair that worked in the make up section that was super nice and a pleasure to talk with about hair color. This woman deserves a raise. When I call in a prescription refill, the automated system says it will be ready the next morning. The following morning, I get a message stating that the refill is pending doctor approval. No one seems to follow up on it unless I call there. The wait time on hold is usually 30+ minutes and I have been disconnected while on hold several times. This evening, I was on hold for 53 minutes and no one even answered. So frustrating!! read more

And by the time you write a review, there can be new people who are not even the ones who deserve the bad review. Worst pharmacy ever, like what other reviewers have said, I will never ever my entire life step into that pharmacy/store ever again God helps me as far as I can help it, and we've gone to many pharmacies during this covid time. I know many friends who are pharmacists, my best friend's husband is a pharmacist, and my childhood best friend also became a pharmacist, and many other good friends, I can think of at least a dozen right now. I understand it's a busy and crazy time, people are overworked, exhausted, etc. etc. But I've never seen the kind of attitude Naomi exhibits, who even refused to give my son covid vaccine and walked out of the room when I complained about the long wait to even get the paper work (25 minutes, just to get paperwork, not to get the shot, that didn't happen for like an hour after appointment)! Wow, just wow. Oh and she kept saying I didn't know who I was "messing with." Even while I was talking to the manager about her attitude, she came by and said, in front of her manager, "You don't know who you're messing with!" What was I surprised to be afraid of? The manager agrees there seems be to a major customer experience issue. Little did I know she's already got so many complaints, as well as the pharmacy itself. I'm sure the manager who runs the place, by now, is partly to blame. She obviously thinks she's invincible, thus the "You don't know who you're dealing with" slogan. We don't ever go to this pharmacy but had to because this was the only available spot. No wonder they have available spots. STAY AWAY! I see it says Yelpers are reporting this place is closed. I wish it were. It is not closed at all, in fact, it is the only place I can find north of Bellevue on the eastside that has covid shot these days. Also, I must add that Naomi probably said "You don't know who you're messing with" at least a dozen times. I wish I had a recording of this black lady with extremely long extensions who is probably taller than my husband who is 6'2" while I'm a petite Asian, Yale graduate and knows people who run hospitals and are research professors of the Mayo Clinic so I'm not afraid of her and am fully aware of the stress they're working in. It was unbelievable how many times she said that, and I even asked whether I should be worried she'll be coming with some gangsters to attack me or something? I have told the manager this can seem like a sexist or racist thing. It is true that the worst racism and sexism I've ever experience in my whole life are from Blacks and women. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Don't come here if you're looking for good drive thru service or even good service at all. I left fred meyer 4+ years ago and for a while Walgreens really had it together, but they are now worse than FM or about as crappy! Nothing here runs smooth. The first time I needed to use the drive thru with my sick kids I waited over 25 minutes for service. The second time I drove thru to find out my doctors office hadn't called in allergy medicine. I asked the pharmacy manager if she could just sell me some Zyrtec Otc and she responded rather grumpy that she was the only person working. I was literally there before they opened the window. It shouldn't have been a huge deal. (And when a family member that uses bartells asked if they can buy otc meds at the window they were told not a problem.) This is something they should offer because when you're sick (and have kids) it's better than going inside and infecting others. Today was it. I am done with Walgreens. After my child was in the ER I dropped off meds to be filled. The man at the window told me 30 minutes and I said I would be back as soon as they were ready. I came back after 40 minutes and waited in the drive thru for 25 minutes and they weren't finished being filled. Since there is only one window the male asked me to please circle around and "get back in line". This wouldn't have been a problem, except by the time I went to circle 3 more cars got into the drive up line. I was furious and went inside with my sick and contagious kids. After getting my RXs taken care of I spoke with the pharmacy manager (the same woman who couldn't sell me some Zyrtec for my allergies) and she said that they are having staffing issues. Within eye sight I saw 3 pharmacy staff, 2 pharmacists, and one other person working. How can the pharmacy not run on 6 people??? The drive up window shouldn't take 25 minutes.... And they shouldn't ask people to drive back into line (which they've asked me to do 3 times now.) I wish I could give less than one star. I feel they don't even deserve one star. Terrible. Oh and if you go in to wait on your RX inside the people at the makeup counter harass you and act like you're trying to steal things. Continually asking if you need help, are doing okay. Even after you tell them you're waiting on your pharmacy items. That makeup counter person is the second most obnoxious thing about Walgreens, after the entire pharmacy itself! Update: I contacted corporate offices who filed a complaint but I did not ever receive my call back within two days, as the corporate offices promised. I plan to follow up after the holidays. I have been here a few more times in the last month between my kids illness' and my own. Last week while waiting on my own RX they "lost" a narcotic RX for a woman waiting in the waiting area with a broken arm. She was in so much pain. Nearly in tears while the staff checked everywhere looking for her pain meds that they had JUST filled. They literally went through all the bins twice. Looked all over. Spent over 20 minutes looking for these medications while this woman was pacing and saying how much she hurt. I've had a broken arm so I know how badly it hurts and I really felt bad for her to have to stand there because they can't even find her Meds that they just filled. They did finally find it, thankfully for that customer. But clearly this pharmacy has got a lot of work to do, to get their sh*t together. read more

The pharmacy is super slow and prescriptions fall through the cracks if you don't stay on them. The pharmacy staff are very unfriendly and impatient. I also have a hard time understanding what they are saying because they talk so fast. I have my prescriptions on auto refill but they do not always do it. If a prescription runs out they do not notify your doctor or you unless you ask. Not good customer service at all. read more

Since I wrote this review I have been filling my prescriptions at Bartell's via their phone in service with no issue whatsoever. I would recommend going to the store next to the QFC on Bothell-Everett HWY; the pharmacists are patient and friendly and there's never much of a wait. Avoid this Walgreen's with your life. read more
