I got excellent service there. . The pharmacy became exclusively for prescriptions filled for in house patients or something like that. So I switched to the 18th street pharmacy at Castro Street. Never mind all the company policies that continue to add to the difficulty of getting my meds filled much less the untimely manner as well. I'm frustrated. I hate to give any more business to Amazon. Instead of addressing the overcharges, I was called to be gaslit, treated as ignorant, and lectured about medication regulations by a pharmacist who was not even a supervisor. She defended the unacceptable behavior of other CVS employees, ignored all proof of overcharges in my app, and refused to provide any resolution. This behavior is disrespectful, discriminatory, and unprofessional. CVS has wasted my time, ignored repeated complaints, and treated me as less than a customer because of my identity. I expect a full refund of every cent I was overcharged, and immediate action to ensure no other customer is treated this way. CVS: You make millions, but you cannot deny accountability for overcharging and discriminating against customers.

I don't know how they pick and choose location to add one compared to the normal. I've only been to the one in Orlando and now this location in the desert. Of course you have to have a massive parking lot to accommodate the loads of shoppers and wanderer's. Three entrances on either end of the store and garden center. There's a fast food place inside, you have the deli section and bakery. Of course the frozen section with quite some nice decent items. It's basically a grocery store on one side of the place. Even a decent isle for the international goods. There's a fairly decent section/department where the alcohol is located. So you have one side that's groceries and the other is basically everything else. Home goods, technology, clothing and so on. There's even a pretty decent size garden center that is pretty massive but it was a little sparse with what they offered. Some patio furniture, mainly soil and the usual pots and some plants. They also have a department for delivery and pickup. It's quite interesting for me...lol... Of course you have the option of self checkout or with someone. Bags are additional fee as we all know. What I didn't understand is, some of the items you would need to pay before hand if you want them. There's the beauty department where you have to leave your basket outside and pay for what you need before returning to it. And some other items in the store where you have to do the same or they can leave it at the customer service counter until you're finished. I had to do that with a measuring tape. We were still shopping and asked if it was ok. The staff seemed a bit annoyed with the request but took it to customer service anyways. Besides that concept, it a pretty good place for your one stop shop.

I've also watched other customers come in and get really upset, even though it is not the pharmacist's fault. They are merely the messengers of insurance, etc. But all the pharmacists and supporting staff have responded really levelheaded and compassionately to a variety of emotions brought in. I feel like they work hard to make sure people have knowledge and work efficiently. I'm really appreciative for this pharmacy.

This occurred on Sept 9 2025, early afternoon. Looking at the signs from the ceiling, I went to the designated aisle, only to see that they had no bandages at all there, only non-related items such as popcorn makers. I walked up front and asking the cashier, who was very friendly about it. She asked said manager, who annoyingly told me that all bandage items were on the back wall. Fine, she's not having a great day, who cares. Maybe move your sign? Just a thought. As I make my way to the back wall, she begins yelling at me from the front of the store, "SIR!! SIR!! SIR!!" I realize maybe she is yelling at me?? Ok....??? I respond by turning and pointing to myself, Manager yells, "THAT'S NOT WHERE IT IS!! YOU'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY!!" Um no, I'm headed exactly where she pointed, and I can see the bandages in front of me now. I respond, "Can I walk here? Is that OK?" By this time, all the people in line at the pharmacy are staring and looking around. The only direct line from myself to the bandage section would require me to walk through the shelves, and unfortunately, I have not discovered how to transport myself through matter as of yet.
