This pharmacy is the best! Great staff who work hard. I've had to return a few times because my insurance was not going through, and I've watched them work really hard to help me understand what my options are, and I've so appreciated their kindness. I've also watched other customers come in and get really upset, even though it is not the pharmacist's fault. They are merely the messengers of insurance, etc. But all the pharmacists and supporting staff have responded really levelheaded and compassionately to a variety of emotions brought in. I feel like they work hard to make sure people have knowledge and work efficiently. I'm really appreciative for this pharmacy. read more

It's hard to be a customer here. They must serve a lot of thieves, because everything is locked up. We are having to wait quite a long time for a busy employee to come and unlock a curling iron and a bottle of sweet vermouth for us. This is actually a very nice store that does not deserve a two star rating and I'm sure the manager of the fine store doesn't like all this thievery. However, from the point of view of the average customer, it's not too much fun to shop here. I have prescriptions filled here regularly and shop here quite often. The team here goes above and beyond. The pharmacy teams works very hard and is incredibly helpful when things go awry as they generally do with prescriptions. We had to get prescriptions filled while we were on vacation and the CVS we stopped at had 8 people working in the pharmacy completing less than a third of what I see this team do; they are incredible! No place is perfect, but if you're looking for solid support from hard working people then this will absolutely fit the bill. read more

It's been quite the week, and morning! I came in to pick up a prescription and the tech, Marlena, asked me if I had insurance. Even with it being a busy morning (which, I know, is typical for most retail pharmacies), this employee took the time to realtime to run my rx through my insurance. Alas, the copay was more than the cost of the drug, so she helped me with a discount card which brought down the price by over half! This is the worst cvs store I've ever been to..the cashiers are not too friendly and then I went to get a money gram I was sent :called ahead to see what time I could pick up the money gram she tells me 10 pm .I go in at 8 pm they tell me the money gram closes at 8pm...employees get your times right..also went to add money on a chime card and the girl says we can't do that out machine does not always work with chime accounts...well then take that info off of your services that you provide...never shopping at that cvs again read more

CVS pharmacy Vista Chino, Palm Springs. California. My prescription came one of them came to over $400 . If advise and or directed by the experience pharmacist it would have cost me a fraction of the cost . The tablet form cost Pennie's in comparison to the liquid suspension . Why can't they advise? Even the liquid suspension if advised and or assisted to go to Good Rx would have saved me $300 . When i found out this info I asked to return the untouched prescription , but no! What happened customer service - surely the pharmacist have had plenty of experience in dealing with such scenario. Over $400 for anti acid liquid suspension . I had my influenza and COVID booster on October 7th at 1400. The male pharmacist who administered both injections was horrible. Clearly had no intention of speaking to me at all. I said, "hello, how you doing?" No response other than his ongoing sour face. Apparently all he intended to say during the entire interaction was, "pull up your sleeve.". Would not have told me what vaccine was going where, if I hadn't asked. I said to him, "you must not enjoy this part of your job.". His response in a very snide voice, "are you enjoying your vaccines!" I've had all my COVID vaccines at this CVS. In the past all had been done by pleasant, professional people, who explained what they were doing. This man should not be interacting with the public. Terrible service!!! Worst cvs ever! Pull up to drive through waited only to find out the prescription that was prescribed by a doctor was put back on the shelf after one day. So we had to wait for that to be filled. We had to wait until she put two boxes of prescriptions away that took about five minutes. I rang the bell for the second time to get help. I'm not sure what no one likes about this location! They always greet you when you walk in the door, and I'm sorry not to ding them for corporate friendliness. It's somewhat refreshing to be acknowledged. They open a second register the instant there is even one person in line. They help you find things when you are wandering aimlessly. They have a drive-thru pharmacy so you don't have to even leave your car if you are sick and germy - kind of nice! So I guess this review is about 50% about the store and 50% about the pharmacy. Having never had an issue, I'm not going to grip. It's been fine for me. read more

I've been a customer here at CVS for well over 5 + yrs. There is a Huge Lack of Professionalism. I will be reporting Joseph to LICENSING ANY/ALL AUTHORITATIVE RESPECTIVE AGENCIES. Jospeh the pharmacy tech lost his mind over me saying his name. Joseph had an out burst like a person whom was having a complete melt down. Imagine having to ask an alleged seasoned pharmacy tech the same question 4 times all because Joseph did not want to answer the question. FYI JOSEPH IN THE MEDICAL FIELD NO QUESTION IS A FORBIDDEN QUESTION ESPECIALLY WHEN THE QUESTION WAS SO SIMPLE... WHEN WAS MY HUSBAND PRESCRIPTION LAST FILLED. WHAT DATE WAS IT? You would not answer the question and then had a verbal meltdown down and forcefully voiced STOP SAYING MY NAME. Then all of a sudden about 5 minutes later you place an order for that very same prescription I was inquiring about that out doctor had already sent over weeks ago as you admitted on the phone. Why does your behavior have to be so rude. As patients/customers were allowed to ask questions and as a pharmacy technician you're supposed to have answers. I too work in the medical field. YOUR BEHAVIOR IS INAPPROPRIATE FOR A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL HANDLING THE NEEDS OF PATIENTS MEDICATIONS. I will ask CVS to listen the conversation. The higher up should have an understanding of just exactly how you deal with simple questions asked because this behaviors NOT NEW I just don't feel it's appropriate to endure. read more

They seriously need to hire more people to help the pharmacy technicians out. Spent over an hour waiting in a long line in the drive thru. Then had to wait another 10 minutes at the window because the one person handling the medication was attending someone in person. I live close to this shop so it's convenient for me to stop in if I need something pronto. It's chock full of "stuff". From fruits to nuts, they have it all. Not everything is the least expensive product you would find at a place, say, Wal Mart. It's an easy go in, make your perchase, get out. If you watch the sales, you may score a bargin. Last year I got a good deal of Spirits. You just have to keep up with the sales. I use an appointment called FLIP where I can compare prices. The associates are helpful and professional. read more

This location has terrible service in the pharmacy. No one on the team wants to answer questions, the pharmacist they have won't write prescription for birth control and when asked why "because we don't have too" unbelievable behavior. You never realize how much this pharmacy does for you until you have to move. I moved from PS to PD. There is no CVS near me. I tried Walgreens because it was just down the street. CVS not only answers the phone quickly, but they deliver your meds to you. Whenever I have a question, it's answered and I don't have to wait on the phone forever for them to get on the phone. (like the other store) You also don't have to wait long in the drive thru. I waited today 32 minutes in the drive thru at Walgreens today. There were only 3 cars ahead of me. I love the friendly people at CVS and I am sure glad they deliver to me here in PD. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible. They do not submit refill requests to doctor in timely manner and prematurely fill others medication not due. After asking numerous time do NOT flag the lable, they flag it anyway. Several staff members have been very very rude. It took another pharmacy 5 attempts to get meds transferred out of this CVS. They have dispensed the wrong quanity of valium to my father in the past, giving him 30 rater them 3 the doctor ordered. Just a few months ago, CVS was attempting to fill hospice meds for my fathet with a physician's office not regulating hospice meds and informed us denied. Well yes,because you tried to fill something that wasn't through that provider!! Frustrated. read more

I used the Walgreens for years in Cat City both on 30th and the 24hr. They stopped taking my insurance and I was forced to start using CVS. Word of advice, be aware of the generics given and what country they are coming from. My Clonazepam from Walgreens and CVS was made by Accord which is from India and is absolutely awful. This is not a review on quality of medication, however. The Pharmacist and her Techs are nice, efficient and will go the extra mile to get me my medication when those at Walgreens would say 'your out of luck!' This is my local pharmacy. Recently (on a Sunday) I went in to buy vitamins and they had a buy one get one free. I found what I needed. They had three bottles on the shelf (two were expired). So I went to counter (brought expired ones with me) and asked if they had any in back. Sue (the manager) was super apologetic. She didn't have anymore in back but offered me a rain check with sale price once they came in. I declined because I needed the one bottle for sure and I know they have this sale all the time. Sue gave me 50% off the one bottle. What a superb customer service experience, proactive in every way! Keep up the great work. This location is on Landau. read more

I have a toddler who was in the ER last night screaming and crying in pain and by the time we left there is was 10:30 tried to drop off the Rx but they were already closed and tried to drop it off this morning before work but they aren't open. Called to see if I can fax it in to them and they told me no, it's NOT a controlled substances for crying out loud it's freaking antibiotics for an ear infection for a toddler!!!! I just walked in to buy allergy medicine from the pharmacy. There were two associates that were visible, both on the phone. I stood there for a full five minutes without either one of them even looking my way. I finally just left. Either need to beef up their staff or get used to customer service, but I won't be back, there are plenty of other options. read more

this location is by far the WORST pharmacy that i have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. they refuse to fill prescriptions that i need and keep refilling meds i did not request and do NOT need at the time - even though i have called in several times about this. all they do is completely lock me out of ever being able to refill them again online, forcing me to call instead. and then half the time when i call in, the employees act like they cannot properly speak english at all. truly horrible. forget pharmacy paradise and put up a parking lot! read more

I used to go to the CVS on sunrise and Ramon but I have moved and I'm now close to the one on Landau and Vista Chino. The one on Ramon is very good. My experience the first time I went into the Landau location it was a turn off for going in there again. I was looking for a certain vitamin brand that was not in the usual section so I looked around but could not find it. I asked a gal in the pharmacy whether she had it or knew where it was. She could not be bothered and just sent me off to look in the same area I had already looked. I went to check out and told the guy behind the counter what I was looking for. He immediately knew of it and where it was, and he went to get it for me. I suppose the person in the pharmacy was stressed out, although there was nobody standing there, but that is no excuse to flip someone off as she did me. It's a shame as it is so convenient for me. I called my prescription into my old CVS. I wonder why management doesn't do something about this and all the bad reviews. read more

Worst pharmacy EVER!! Dropped off a prescription Friday night with Rensredf and was told to come back in two hours. I couldn't make it back in 2 hours so my husband went back for the pain medication on Saturday morning and he was told they couldn't find the prescription. I went back on Saturday evening at 6:57 only to find that they had closed already. I'm now back in the driveway and they say they they cannot fill my prescription until Monday. So I've asked for the prescription and workers compensation paperwork back. They say they can only find the prescription not the paperwork. Thy said I'd need to come inside on my crutches. I said no they just need to give me the paper and I'll happily leave. They say I'm blocking the driveway and that they are going to call the authorities. There is no pharmacy manager on duty, they say they will have to call her and get her to tell them where the paper is. They say this will probably be hour or two. This is ridiculous! I'll never be back to ANYTHING CVS pharmacy or store. This has ruined it for me. read more

Don't usually write reviews but felt the need. We live fairly close to this store and it's a very convenient place to go for small things, which we've done in the past. There was one very nice associate there, most others have been kind of dull, and it's very obvious that they don't love their job, but tolerable (have run into this at many other CVS stores as well). Went in about a month ago and there was a new (at least she seemed new there), extremely concrete employee who gave me a difficult time with everything. Even tried to act like I had tried to use the coupons sitting on the counter, she picked them up and "bleeped" them, I didn't quite know why she was using them, thought that maybe after she'd been so rude, she was trying to give me extra coupons, but no she accused me of trying to use them and said they didn't match my CVS card. I said, "I know, they're not mine and I didn't give them to you." Anyway, I swore I would never return, and then, I forgot and went in there the other day. Same woman, same attitude, inflexible and unable to think abstractly at all. I started out nice, thinking I didn't want to have another bad experience. Now I will remember and will NEVER shop at CVS again.. I doubt it will affect them, but I'll feel better. read more
