I just bought $40 worth of vitamins from Rite Aid. I had several bottles. The cashier asked me if I wanted a bag. Of course I wasn't going to juggle bottles in my hands. There was a 10 cent bag charge. This is too much!! There is no sign or no telling me that they are going to charge for a common grocery store bag. I will never return to Rite Aid again. They have certainly lost more than 10 cents in profit on future sales from me. The retailers are trying to nickel and dime us to death. The next store that tries to do that will also lose my business forever! I am pissed!!!! read more

We happened to be in Exeter and had to run into a drugstore. Rite Aid was right there but we almost missed it because the side of the building that faces the stores doesn't have a sign on it! Really, it may be the back of the store but if you point the back of the store at the rest of the strip mall, why wouldn't you put a sign on it? Anyway, we went inside, found it to be smaller than the average Rite Aid and easier to navigate as a result. We were out of there in five minutes. We got what we were there for and it was quick, but I would have missed it if my wife didn't know what the building was. I'm going to have to take a picture. read more

Came in to get a few things at the checkout had the most rudest cashier ever Mike didn't say hi back didn't look at me when ever I asked a question he answer in a annoying tone would recommend a little more happier people to work up 03/20- Update.... still sucky customer service! The lady behind the counter today older lady with a huge Navi blue sweater was super rude and no sense of humor at all. I get we are all going through this shitty virus but if u chose to come to work today put a smile on your face or at least say HI HOW ARE YOU. I stoped going here for a reason I guess I just reminded my self why I don't go here. To be honest it's a shame because they have great deals and it's a beautiful store. The Pharmacy - According to the pharmacist that we saw last night for a few pain pills post ER visit, this Rite Aid location was visited by the DEA not too long ago. Today, after we went back to the orthopedic surgeon, my significant other got a prescription for pain meds. The pharmacist gave me a completely hard time about my this opioid prescription. I waited for 1 hour until 4:46 on a Friday night. Then went up to the counter and was told by the pharmacist that she had to talk to the doctor about the prescription. Because it was a lot of opioids. At 4:46. On a Friday. They knew I was waiting. And never said anything to me. The pharmacist told me she called but it took two calls to the doctor by both me and my SA to get it done. My SA re-broke his arm last night after having surgery a month ago. And they gave him a hard time about 10mg pills. Oh and the pharmacist lied to the doctor and said that our Insurance had the question not her. The cherry on the cupcake? The tech mocked me when I came back up to the counter, after 2 hours of waiting and frustration, and said "evidently the prescription is ready now". She looked at the pharmacist and said evidently the prescription is ready now with an eye roll. Way to go. read more

Staff is always friendly, helpful and very professional. The store is always clean and well stocked. They tend to get busy. Also after reading the reviews I feel I need to say that I'm a regular to this store and I just about see Mike every time I go in... I'm a little confused by the two reviews targeting and slightly attacking him specifically. He has never been rude to a customer once that I have seen and has always been busy manning the register, stocking shelves or helping customers and although he might not be the most friendly associate there by any means (not meant in a bad way) he is the most professional one and most skilled there. read more

Poorest operated front end. The Pharmacists and their assistants are great but the general staff are totally inept, disinterested, and rude especially Mike, the so-called manager. Walgreens is right across the street and though I have always (over 20 years) favored Rite Aide, I will move on. And Corporate needs to be concerned. Between the amount of time it takes to cash out and the arrogance of the front of store staff, they have a problem that they need to fix. read more

Ran out of my night-time glaucoma drops and needed a refill immediately.The pharmacy was out of it but made a pint of calling around to find who had it. When I said yes, I would start driving to that another Rite-aid he quickly called back to warn me that that store had just now sold the last bottle before he could put the reserve it for me. Terrible customer service. I waited at the pharmacy for at least 5-10 minutes before someone acknowledged I was even there. The pharmacist and techs kept chatting about their personal lives even though they saw me waiting. The pharmacist was in such a rush that she gave me only HALF the amount of pills I was prescribed. I thankfully noticed when I got home but imagine if I had been someone who didn't realize it. I called about it and the pharmacist didn't even apologize. This was incredibly careless and could have been a dangerous situation. read more

Great! This place is open all night for a gallon of milk or a prescription.. There a cool older gent there that knows what he's doing, works hard and is as polite as Ward Cleaver. He's great and makes the visit worth the trip read more

We love Rite Aid in Exeter! Its our go to place for everything! The staff is always nice and the pharmacy crew is friendly and informative. It was a really HOT summer day and I was out walking with my baby and I went here to grab a few things, change and feed my daughter. I went to go sit in the waiting area to (breast) feed my baby and the pharmacist offered me the pharmacy consultation room for more privacy. I was amazed! It was a small gesture but it meant the world! read more

The main floor is good. I've never used their pharmacy, so I can't comment on that. They do need to calibrate their photo printer. Pictures come out brown-tinted. Walgreen's photo services are better quality. read more

I hate going in there. It was great before they moved. I will drive toVisalia to do what I need. I hope to never have to go there any more To bad cause it's so close. But they never have enough staff. And if they do the staff is not at the front to take care of customers. I waited 30 minutes in line the last time I was there. Sad. read more
