This is my first time dealing with a specialty, air mail pharmacy. It took some extended coordination with the insurance due to the complexity of my meds but they were very helpful and we eventually got it done. Shipping was super fast and professional, and my refrigerated injections showed up exactly on time in the correct packaging, safely stored and packed with care. I highly recommend carefully self advocating any special needs to make sure they are met, but this was a good go to speciality pharmacy if you cannot get specialized meds elsewhere read more

These people should be ashamed of themselves. This is beyond disgusting customer care. They are deceitful and the medication you need from a specialty pharmacy is for serious medical conditions like cancer and autoimmune disorders. The mere fact that they cause people to miss doses and have considerable extra stress and then try to blame it on other factors like doctors and insurance when those things are in order is really just despicable. The simple fact of asking for your date of birth, zip code and name by robo receptionist and then having to repeat all the information again once you get a live person speaks volumes of their frustrating customer service. read more

I'm new to CVS specialty program and had some questions about ordering my prescription. When I called the CVS specialty location, in West Hollywood, the guy who answered was extremely rude. Why would you be in a job where you're working with people if you don't like people? I asked to speak to somebody else and they were able to answer my questions with no problem. There is roaches in their building as of may 2023 they are filling prescription orders in a roach infested building yess there is a pharmacy here not sure if it's illegal to operate a pharmacy in such unsterile environment but it should be if it's not. They also are terrible at what they do and treat their employees terrible and cut corners over all CVS is a terrible company I don't suggest using them for specialty medications or regular medications and I highly suggest not working for them either read more

Customer service is horrible. Representative tells you that you will receive your meds by a current date then in minutes later you receive a text stating...sorry for the inconvenience your meds will be delivered five days later. read more

This is ridiculous. Holding on the phone for 45 minutes and they hung up on me. Sent them a prescription for special medicine and for 8 days, no Response. If I have read all the one stars reviews I wouldn't have refill from them. Go somewhere else. read more

The level of systemic incompetence at CVS Specialty Pharmacy is staggering. Every phone call takes at least an hour, spending most of it either on hold or very slowly repeating my request to the person on the phone. Their secure messaging responses are incomplete and/or provide incorrect information. I LOATHE giving this company my money. read more

They can't get my payment right ! Delaying my medication. They input my information 3 times with three different agents and still can't get it right !! Severe pain and inflammation because of delayed medication ! Oh and every time I call I get transferred 3-5 times and I'm on the phone for over an hour trying to figure things out. read more

In 2019 I received my medication from Aetna Specialty Pharmacy. Late in the year, without any explanation, Aetna closed that pharmacy and transferred the patients to CVS Specialty Pharmacy. In December I refilled my Rx from CVS without any problem. Aetna was still my Medicare Part D insurance. The nightmare started when I tried to refill my Rx in January. I had a new insurance company as Aetna no longer provided insurance. When I did not receive a ship date I called. Out of five calls I gave up after 10 or 20 minutes on hold. Sending secure messages did not help. I finally called the main CVS number. I was transferred twice before I reached somebody who knew something. I gave her my new insurance information. Sill no update from CVS. I called again and waited 30 minutes on hold. They were working on it. On Saturday I took a chance and called again. A lady answered who just happened to be in the office. She looked up my file. She said my insurance had expired and then she noticed I had provided the new information. She was most apologetic and said the medication would be shipped out the following Monday. Well, it was finally sent on Tuesday, Unfortunately I had been without the medication for two weeks so I had to titrate all over again. Needless to say a letter to the CEO of CVS Health went unanswered. Next year I need to find another pharmacy. read more

This is the worst pharmacy in the whole world. The level of incompetency is staggering. I have been waiting for them to process my order for my medication for 3 months! They have put my Dr. and I through the ringer. They will tell you they will call you back and don't. They have literally never returned 1 promised phone call in 3 months! I have had to initiate every communication. It took them 1 month to actually put the order in their system. The first guy I talked to said the order was in and someone would be reaching out in a few days and no one did. When i called back they had no order in the system. They don't care about their patients or their patients health or well being. It is criminal that this company is allowed to operate in this manner. If you have ANY other options for a pharmacy, go elsewhere. This place is the bottom of the dung heap for sure. They still have not processed my order, meanwhile, I deteriorate a little more every month. And the added stress only makes it worse. First they told me I needed a pre-authorization. Turns out I don't. Now they are too incompetent to call my insurance company on the East Coast before they close to verify. Literally 1 phone call and they can't get it done in 3 months!!!!! The DMV is staffed better. They wait until the last minute to even try to get the order out. I hope this company is held accountability someday for all the pain, suffering and stress they've cause people who are already sick. Big pharma evil = CVS Specialty Pharmacy. SHAME ON YOU! read more

They do everything in their power to deny coverage for your extremely expensive specialty drugs, such as claiming they never received the prescription from your doctor or endlessly requiring "prior authorization". They don't notify you if a claim has been denied, they just ignore you. I've had to battle for hours on the phone with them as they keep transferring your call to numbers that sometimes don't ever answer. I finally did get approval, but it was a real battle. Use another specialty pharmacy if possible. read more

I wish I could give this horrible pharmacy branch a zero. They left my 11 year old daughter in extreme pain and a process of untreated bone death in her jaw by withholding medication that was supposed to be overnighted to us. I was assured if there was any issue they would call me ASAP. No call, no medication and no one can help me get it worked out. She has been on this Mexican for a year and they have made thousands of dollars off of the quest to save my child's eyesight and mandible bone and they could not follow through with delivering her medication or communication with me as to what the hold up was before the weekend as they promised. Her father had to take the day off work and drive an hour on Monday to get a sample of another medication that they had a sample of which she ended up being allergic to and has developed a rash. Her we are four days in and no medication with no word on the hold up. I hope they can sleep at night and that their corporate greed keeps them warm at night. I'm Utterly disgusted by their business practices and inability to provide any level of acceptable customer service. read more

Wow no wonder there is only a 1 ranking. They have the same issue I'm having! They have awful customer service in person and on the phone. The guy at the front desk with a beard and ears that have huge saggy earlobes from plugs was very unprofessional. He wasn't apologetic for their mistake and all he did was tell me to wait. I let him know I drove all the way from Eastvale to come pick up my prescription because they told me my prescription was going to arrive at my house today today and it did not. He said "ok" and told me to wait. As a person that works in customer service myself, that type of attitude should not be the first thing that someone experiences when they walk into a building. I called customer service and they told me to show up to this pharmacy and it will be ready. Now they say they can't find my info anywhere. There is no phone number attached to this pharmacy so here it is...(909) 938-1096. If someone comments on here saying that this is not the correct number, they are lying. The most incompetent pharmacy! My medications are always delayed because of them. The same pattern: I call to schedule a delivery, they say okay, medication does not get delivered. I asked to talk with a manager and after 20 minutes on hold, still manager didn't answer. Do not trust them with your medications and your health!! read more

If I could give a zero I would. I constantly get calls from them to call back and wait over 40 minutes to talk to someone so I finally will hang up. We owe nothing, have paid, but are consistently on these robo calls. We have quit the medication due to CVS pharmacy stress. BTW, we had a different specialty pharmacy before and they were amazing in every way. read more
