The patient keeps trying to pick up her medication and is told that it was not called in. The computer tracks the e-prescribing, so we know it was done. Finally, in desperation, we called the pharmacy and were told that we need to re-send it AGAIN. And if it doesn't show up in 10 minutes, that we would need to call back and give the prescription over the phone. She would not just take the prescription over the phone at that time, and she promptly hung up on us. Ironically (or not), the very same pharmacy made one of our 90 y/o patients come in twice, because they pulled the same stunt with her. Tsk, tsk. not very good patient care.

Example told me the prescription will be absolutely ready by 3 o'clock. I went to the pharmacy. Turns out can anybody guess prescription was not ready then they told me 330 I came back at 4 o'clock. It still was not ready so at this point I've been out for over an hour. They then told me 15 minutes. I waited around for the 15 minutes, went back up in 30 minutes. It still was not ready. This pharmacy is a joke. They cannot even give you adequate times when a prescription may be filled. They can't even approach the appropriate time within an hour of when they tell you the fill will be ready. I will be moving my prescriptions to Walmart. Maybe they can do a better job because this pharmacy clearly is either understaffed and incapable of giving appropriate times.

There appears to be little to no efficiency in how the store is run. Staffing always seems inadequate, and customers are left waiting far longer than reasonable just to complete basic transactions. Whether it's the pharmacy or the front registers, the process feels disorganized and unnecessarily slow. This location seriously needs better management of workflow and staffing because the current experience is frustrating for customers. Until major improvements are made, I would strongly recommend going to a different pharmacy if you have the option.

WORST COMPANY EVER…read more CVS Caremark is the greediest, most despicable company out there. They are more than willing to deny coverage for any medication that your doctor prescribes, and shunt you off to an automated system to avoid having to answer for their denials. They will give you a canned response of "ask your doctor to appeal our decision" as if they have a right to get between you and your doctor's assessment of your need for medication. I 1000% despise CVS, and Caremark especially. They need to take the word "Care" out of their name, because care has NOTHING to do with it.

I've read recent complaints and all can be resolved by installing/using the CVS app: select notifications to get updates, add allergies to your profile, check prescription status and if it reads 'no refills' either request refills via the app or your provider (if you wait until you request a refill, there will be a delay).

I have a prescription for my son's formula because of his severe allergy -- this is all he is allowed to eat and I take it very seriously where I get this food for him. I would call ahead of time and be told "Just call the day before the prescription renews and we'll fill it for you." Then I would do as instructed and call the day before, only to hear "You can't do that! We need to order it for you ahead of time!!" This happened three consecutive months and didn't improve when I went into the store in person to order ahead of time either. On two occasions, the pharmacy manager lectured ME on their procedures and order schedule. I finally had enough of being treated like this and switched pharmacies to a competitor.
