In terms of customer service and merchandise, the store is on par with most of the other CVS locations I've visited. But when it comes to their pharmacy, they are terrible!! I have a prescription for my son's formula because of his severe allergy -- this is all he is allowed to eat and I take it very seriously where I get this food for him. I would call ahead of time and be told "Just call the day before the prescription renews and we'll fill it for you." Then I would do as instructed and call the day before, only to hear "You can't do that! We need to order it for you ahead of time!!" This happened three consecutive months and didn't improve when I went into the store in person to order ahead of time either. On two occasions, the pharmacy manager lectured ME on their procedures and order schedule. I finally had enough of being treated like this and switched pharmacies to a competitor. read more

Apparently pharmacy now has a new phone system, you absolutely cannot speak to a live person. Even with repeated tries, the AI assistant got my birthdate information wrong several times and I could not proceed. There was absolutely no way to find out about a new prescription that I was supposed to have sent over after surgery. I will be switching pharmacies this is ridiculous! read more

I wish YELP would set up a system so that I was able to pay real money out of pocket to send NEGATIVE stars to a bizzness I would. Something reasonable like $1 per negative star. They could make the negative stars a whole different color(I suggest BLACK!) and everything. Keep the "regular" stars orange if they'd like. If this option was made available I would promptly and happily enter my debit # and purchase 100 black negative stars and I would use them on the automated phonecall system that CVS has implemented. What business in the history of business has it set up to drag you on a rollercoaster that CAUSES high blood pressure in order to speak to.....NOBODY! It should just be an option at the start! "If you're looking to speak to the pharmacy you may hang up now to prevent you from wanting to put your head thru the nearest wall! I've never seen anything like this. Received a text saying my prescription was ready. I processed the pick up on the app on Tuesday, and went to pick it up that Friday (closed Thurs for Thanksgiving). Drive 20 minutes each way, and then wait in the line for the drive in for 10 min, all for them to tell me that it's not ready because they "put it away". Such a waste of my time, now I need to find another day to pick it up. They used to deliver it to my house for free, but stopped offering this for some reason. read more

CVS has no protection for you or your CHILD if anyone has your Childs name and birthdate, the person can nit only pick up the prescription but they can change your Childs address in the system. Front store staff has no way of assisting in complaints. The biggest complaint is I asked after the pharmacy lady SarahMckehnie about my Childs address she said well this isn't her store, it looks like the other prescriptions have been being picked up in "town, MA." so then I told her that its not right to have little to no protection for Minors, I asked if anything had been recently or semi recently picked up or otherwise in the town listed and then she said she can't see that because it's not this store. She had just said where the other pick ups had been and then refused to look further because it's not "her store." Corporate Customer service extension hung up on me saying it was an invalid extension. Get your stuff together CVS, if you sell kids headbands for $14.99 then you can spring for a better phone system, computer system, employees, more than 1 person no managers? Just disgusting. filing a complaint with Better Business or something, this place is ridiculous & would boycott it at all costs. They don't protect or care about children. read more

Please note this is for the pharmacy only, the store is quite nice. Every time I have gone here, the back room are screaming and yelling at each other - often times in obscentities. Additionally, in the past 24 hour (not counting the rest of the week), I got 2 verbal phone message and SIX test messages saying my meds were ready - all during the huge storm. The next day after several more texts, I get a phone call saying 2 scripts couldn't be filled until the 14th. Utterally confused, I called into the pharmacy, and they said they were all fine and to come and get them. When I got there, she didn't have my current address on file, which I have now given at LEAST four times and make me write in slip that I'm sure got lost in the trash. Then my California drivers license wouldn't go through 2-3-4 times (it has been no problem before) and she yelled for a consult from the "pharamacist," who looked like he had been partying for a week - NOT someone I felt comfortable discussing my personal medical care with. Did I trust this guy with my HIPPA info? HELL-TO-THE-NO, He seemed completely blitzed and unfazed that someone with medical conditions was standing in front of him. When I said that all of my medications where repeats, he basically just turned and walked away - no customer service from "the boss." There was also a line out of the door at this point. The pharamacy is FULL of people working, but no one ever seems to be working for the people in line. It's absolutely insanity there and to be honest, I'm on so medications that I don't for a second believe they all got them right. Changing pharmacists PRONTO. read more

I have mixed emotions about the CVS in Wilmington Plaza. It's a traditional CVS with everything to purchase. Front of store clerks try to service people and the self check out customers. Sometimes I get frustrated with wait time. However ! The pharmacy department needs a review by corporate. Long lines with one clerk Way too many silly issues with the pay pad for customers. Drive up seems to get faster service than walk in. Manager is oblivious to lines waiting. I went twice last week for pick up. Both times I left because 20 people waiting in line. I see people waiting at drop off and consult. No apologies for wait time. Poor customer service. Hunting for prescriptions in bins seems archaic way to do business. Most times they are filed and it's a drug hunt! Lol! Bad business practices. They need employees ... too busy a store for one pharmacist and one clerk this Friday night. The new location is fabulous. The store is cleaner, it's less stuffy, there is more light, and better access to products. But there are two problems with this store. The first problem is the pharmacy. I cannot believe how inept those people are sometimes. I recently had 3 renewal prescriptions lost on two occasions that my doctor just put in the day before. And they aren't as friendly as I would like. Like Alison said the rotation probably leads to the lack of customer service because there isn't any familiarity. The second problem is the lines in general. The lines at the pharmacy and the lines in the main area. I will admit, I lack patience. However, the lines can run on and on and there is not any clear direction as to how the line should form. So when the floor manager decides to come from behind doors and redirect the line people end up losing their place. They really need some queue cords in there to help out. And why are there never enough cashiers? Especially during peak shopping times? I'm just saying!! read more

This cvs pharmacy is the worst place ever! I have numerous accounts where they are just snarly when talking to us. My great aunt is getting her eyes done and she needs her ointment for her eyes. When she only got two out of the three back she got worried because she is getting them her eyes done in a few days. The pharmacist was totally not professional. She was snarly said "I don't know where it is you can go somewhere else". Lady my great aunt is just worried she wasn't mad just scared do not be a bitch to her. Man, this pharmacy is very poorly managed! I've been there twice thus far and both times I was extremely dissatisfied with the service (i.e. They botched it!). The first time I went, I dropped off my prescription and agreed to come back for it. When I returned a while later, it look them forever to find it. It was apparently still being QC'ed. After the first whammy, I figured that they may have just been busy and gave them a second chance. The second time I tangled with this pharmacy, I submitted an online prescription refill request through their website early in the morning. I arrived late afternoon that same day for pickup. Wouldn't you know? It wasn't available. The pharmacy never bothered to call me and let me know, so I wasted a trip over there. The woman that handled my prescription was clearly close to the end of her shift and didn't seem particularly interested in helping me out. The unfortunate reality is that CVS pharmacists often rotate between various locations. So the quality of customer service is often inconsistent--or consistenly poor, as it was at this location. It's also not uncommon to find a pharmacist "cleaning up after" one of their colleagues that worked a previous shift and fixing their errors in billing, etc. Not sure if this affects all CVS Pharmacy locations, but I certainly noticed it in this location. Terrible operation. Pharmacy workers are under paid, over worked, and not able to even answer the phones. Their website does not allow people to fill certain prescriptions without contacting them. So expect if you need any sort of communications to have to go in and get sub par service while they tend to the drive through and ignore the phones while operating without enough employees. read more

Hands down the worst CVS pharmacy in Massachusetts!!!! They have lost 2 prescriptions this week, refused to refill another one because they wanted "clarification" on the dosage although it was clearly spelled out and visible when I logged into CVS account!!! Completely incompetent. Last month they refused to issue my medication that has been prescribed to me for 10 years because they wanted my doctor to call my insurance and authorized although there have been no insurance or doctor changes. This left me without medication for 2 days. I don't know why they do all this. No other CVS does!!!! This has ruined CVS for me and I will be transferring all my business elsewhere! read more

This is a review of the Pharmacy Only! I usually use Walgreens however the RX I was filling is on Back Order for the 2nd month in a row and No Walgreens within a 50 mile radius had it so I had to go to CVS in Wilmington. This is the Absolute Worst Pharmacy EVER! If you are being prescribed a Narcotic for Any Reason they make you feel like a Junkie (and the Medicine I'm on Doesn't even get you High!!!!!) I have had this same RX filled here in the past when my pharmacy was Closed and have been on the Same Medicine and on the Same Dose for the Last 12+ years. Last month when I had to fill it here they had to call the Dr to verify the dose, ok I get that. Yesterday I had to fill it again and had to go to this CVS and AGAIN they have to verify the dose with the Doctor.....AYKM?!?!?!? Now it's a Saturday, Monday is New Years Eve so this can't be done unless they are open New Years Eve otherwise I have to wait until Wednesday, Are You Kidding Me?!?!?! You can look back in the computer and see that I have been on the same dose for 12+YEARS. I took my Rx to the CVS in Tewksbury and had Absolutely No Problems, I left with my RX in hand and guess what, No they Didn't have to talk to my Doctor! Avoid this CVS if you don't want to be treated disrespectfully and judged by someone that is supposed to be a professional yet acts anything but! My husband, myself and our 3 young children just got back from the minute clinic. We arrived at 12 for some flu shots and were told we were next and the kiosk said it would be 3 minutes. When the family before us left, the nurse and doc who told us we were next looked right past us and called another person at which time the kiosk now read we have a 20 minute wait. After that person left no one said a word to us and the kiosk said our wait time was now 53 minutes! When we asked why the time change, we were told they had mandatory lunch break. By this time our poor kids were starving. This was an absolute horror. DO NOT come here with small kids. They could care less. This review is for the pharmacy. The drugstore itself - great. Short lines, open 24 hours, not a problem. The pharmacy? Sweet Jesus. I have multiple prescriptions filled here. There is an issue EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I go to pick one up. Not to mention that I've called to see if it's ready first and then magically it's not. Why even say it's ready?! Then today, I called and they hung up on me before I could get past hello. I told them that they hung up on me when I called back and no apology whatsoever. If we didn't live less than a half mile from here we would definitely go somewhere else. They are lucky the drugstore is attached to the pharmacy and that it's extremely convenient. This was my first time going to the MinuteClinic. It was easy to schedule a time, and the 45 minute wait that I was expecting was actually 15 minutes so that was a nice surprise. I don't normally write reviews, but I feel I need to warn people NOT to fill their prescriptions here. I have a medically compromised child requiring tons of prescriptions. Not only have we had prescriptions filled incorrectly, but there is always an issue either with insurance not being charged right, prescriptions not being ready on time, and the pharmacists are just plain RUDE and act like every customer is a nuisance. I have spent so much time at this pharmacy, you would think I'd be on a first name basis with these folks, but no. Can't even get a smile or a "hello" out of them. The short bald guy is the WORST - arrogant and callous. He's in the wrong industry for sure. No offense to the one or two helpful and friendly people who work at the pharmacy, because there are a couple, but for the most part I've had nothing but awful experiences here. I've switched to Rite Aid and it's a world of difference. I would urge the manager or even the owner of this CVS to take a hard look at your staff and your values. You really need to instill some compassion in these people and pride for their work. Some of your customers are dealing with debilitating and terminal illnesses. They should be able to trust their pharmacists to get their prescriptions right and do it with a smile. read more

We visited this store today in hopes of catching a good deal on clearance items. Unfortunately, their remaining selection was small and it was only 75% off. Come home, call health insurance, they tell me I'm covered, and the pharmacy ran me under my wife's name and was denied because my wife's insurance won't cover me. Well duh. Pretty much worst experience ever. Went to develop photos at 8pm and left at 9:44pm empty handed. 2 of the 3 photo machines were occupied by two girls the entire time and the remainder machine of course doesnt work and the people that work there wouldnt ask the two girls to hurry or be mindful of other customers instead they prompted me to download a couple apps on my smart phone and send the pics to develop that way which i didnt mind doing. I downloaded the apps and then half the pics i needed wouldnt load for some reason so I went to ask the employees and of course they had no idea on how to use the apps. complete waste of my two hours and now I have to venture into a different town to get my pics... read more

Extremely slow which is amazing considering there is usually 5 employees working at most times. Be prepared to wait 15+ minutes regardless if you had previously dropped off or called in your prescription. I've gone in to just pick up my prescription and have walked out because i got tired of waiting. This happened again this past weekend. Went in at 7PM on a Sunday just to pick up a prescription. There were at least 5 people working in the pharmacy and no one in line but me. They kept telling me they'd be with me in a minute. Again, i was the only one in line. After 10 minutes i left without my prescription. What a joke. read more

I would leave a 0 star rating if I could. The NP that saw me in the minute clinic wiped the chair down with what I would assume was clorox bleach wipes. She told me to come in and have a seat and as soon as I sat down she said "oh I hope that doesn't bleach your pants" so I immediately stood up and sure enough my pants were ruined. My favorite pair of pants that are now discontinued. She made me feel delusional by telling me there was nothing wrong with my pants while I was hysterically crying. I asked to see what she cleaned the chair with and she handed me the clorox wipes that were made with hydrogen peroxide while she proceeded to turn around the other clorox wipes bottle which I'm almost 100% positive were clorox bleach wipes because how else would my pants be ruined in a room that smelled like bleach. Then she proceeded to let me take a picture of the hydrogen peroxide wipes and then told me that she could get in trouble for letting me take pictures in there all whilst she put the other bottle of clorox wipes under the counter and would NOT let me see them. They let me leave the office while I was hyperventilating and they're lucky I didn't pass out. I will never be shopping at cvs again or using their minute clinic and I hope I get a refund for my $40 pants. read more

The pharmacy here is slow. I've waited 30-45 mins for prescriptions that were called in hours ago. The store is a major rip off. Many items are comically overpriced. A complete ripoff. Then they haggle you to donate money to charities during check out and hand you a receipt that is a mile long. A nice charity would be to stop ripping people off. It's more than one star since at least they stay open all the time and have a lot of stuff in stock. read more

So this was an aweful experience at the Clinic in this CVS. We arrived 15 minutes before the clinic was to open, was told that it normally does not open until 2 minutes after opening time. My cousin was first and was not seen until 15 after 9am. Then she went in with a sinus infection (she gets them normally once a year, a little antibiotic and problem solved). The doctor(never introduced herself) told her that it was a virus and that she just need cough drops and salt water to fix her issues and charged her $100. Can we say "Thanks for Nothing!!!!!!!". Now the rest of the story, she begged the doctor because she is going to compete in a triathlon in 7 days which she has been training for over 8 weeks running, swimming and biking for hours everyday. The doctor would not listen to her or give her any medicine at all. Told her she would call her back in 3 days.. guess what that is too late to be ok for a triathlon. So now this doctor who did not pay attention to what my cousin said only told her to get a cough drop! What??? Did I mention the gross part that she has been having green mucous for two days... She would never have gone to the clinic if she did not think she was past the point of cough drops working. Terrible service (the doctor) was more interested in filling out her papers than listening to the patient. Now my cousin lays all day being ill, and possibly not going to be able to attend the trathlon she has paid $150 to be in and $100 for advice on cough drops! I have been coming to this CVS for years. I like that they are open 24 hours. I literally drive by three other CVS stores to shop at this one. I have always had consistent service at the Pharmacy. There is a woman who is a cashier at Pharmacy and I can't remember her name who is a shining star. I think it could be Debbie? Anyways, I haven't seen her there in a while when I sporadically pick up prescriptions. Fast forward to last week. I had a prescription I had phoned in and arrived to the Pharmacy area to pick up. The line consisted of myself, a guy in front of me, and one at the both registers doing their transactions. For some reason one of the people at the registers was taking a long time. I think the cashier was having a hard time finding the prescription. She was rummaging around the racks like a mad woman. One of the registers clears, so the guy in front of me goes to check out. I was probably waiting at least 7 minutes at this point. Next, its my turn... and the other cashier starts yelling out last names - two of them, and tells them to just come to the register since their prescriptions are ready. So that's another 3-4 minutes I was waiting. I think that was completely rude and unprofessional on the cashier's part. They could have gotten in line behind me. Finally when it was my turn, I had forgotten my CVS extra bucks card and asked her to look it up by number. I gave her the area code of 7-8-1 then the number. She got all huffy saying its wrong.... and says 9-7-8 then number back to me. I said no way. I said 7-8-1. I have no numbers that begin with 9-7-8 so I wouldn't have erroneously give it to her. It wouldn't have been such a big deal but her attitude was just horrendous. Between the wait and the attitude. I think I might consider someplace else to go. read more

I came here on a Saturday basically knowing that I had strep throat... I was taken into the minute clinic almost immediately(no complaints there, sign-in was easy). I'll say that the doctor was really nice, but she didn't really tell me abiut the tests she was doing. She informed me that she had to send the swab into the lab and if it came back positive, they would call me on Tuesday. She didn't tell me that she did a rapid test as well and that it was negative. I found that out when I read the papers that I left with. Even still, rapids only test for one type of strep, and it was obvious by looking in my throat(it looked nasty) that I had some form of an infection and needed antibiotics. Anyway, I left with a delicious lollipop & a prescription of Lidocane to numb my throat. Wednesday rolled around and I never got a phone call. I called and was put on hold for 30 minutes! I hung up and made an appt with my actual doctor. She did a rapid which came back negative as well, but actually looked in my throat and gave me a prescription of penicillin. Almost a week later of dealing with this s***, my throat is finally feeling better. I just wish I had gotten it when I went on Saturday! read more
