From the moment we got there, I didn't realize it was Mama T herself in the car with the biggest smile. You can tell she appreciates all of her customers. The food was absolutely delicious. The food was served cafeteria style. Mostly everyone ordered a meat and two sides. Personally, I ordered the oxtails, macaroni and cheese, the collard greens/cabbage mix and a side a chitterlings. The oxtails were hearty and tender. Then the sides were just as amazing in taste. I didn't know what to expect from the collard greens/cabbage mix but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Other options they had were curry lamb chops, jerk ribs, baked chicken, hamburger steak, lima beans, yams and a whole lot more. Someone there waiting on their food recommend the oxtail, cabbage, and cuban rice, so that's what I ordered. Oxtail - this is one of the best things I've ever had in my life. It was cooked perfectly (I assume, I have never had it before). Super tender and the fat just melts. It's over a bed of rice, which soaks up the juice. There is not a ton of meat, but it is 100% worth it. . Cabbage - I have had cabbage plenty of times, but this may have cumin, but not sure. It was also very good. If you like cabbage, you will probably like this. There were a lot of other foods to choose from, so lots of options if oxtail and cabbage are not for you. Unless we find something better, this is our go-to for Moultrie.
