I've never been to an ice cream place that they're consistent all the time- doesn't matter what you order. They were all young and did very well jobs. Me and 3 other family members went here about 3/4 times over a week span and everytime we ordered they were super sweet and never got the different orders wrong. I ordered a kiddie vanilla ice cream with colored sprinkles on the bottoms and top and they did it perfect, trust me I've been so many places in all states that they can't get that simple order correct. I also the next time got vanilla ice cream with caramel and they did the same bottom and top as ice cream should be made. They're right off the highway and they have a parking lot and a drive thru. They're very quick as well and get a lot of people coming here. They have ice cream, slushies, taco ice creams( they're Huge), and they have floats. They have such a huge range for such a small place. You can also sit at the tables and benches right outside and enjoy your ice cream with your family. I had a good experience at Twisty Treat. The service was very friendly and the staff was welcoming and helpful the whole time. The only bummer was that they had run out of chocolate ice cream, which was a little disappointing. Other than that, the hot fudge sundae was really good and definitely hit the spot. Twistee Treat is so adorable. I saw this big ice cream cone shaped shop off the highway near my uncles house while visiting. I had to try it, I went with my daughter, uncle and brother. They have a good variety of ice cream and many other ice cream treats. The young ladies at the window were so pleasant and our orders came out at a reasonable time. The prices are also reasonable. They have seating options. We enjoyed it so much we went every evening during our stay in Florida. It was our evening ritual. Plenty of parking and a great place to grab an ice cream sit down watch the cars go by and just chat away. read more

Twistee treat is such an awesome Florida soft serve! Love all the different flavor combinations. This location is awesome because they have a drive through. And they have some unique flavors like Ube and pandan which I've not seen other locations have. Service wise is hit or miss, depending if you have an uninterested teen or someone who is actually courteous and friendly. Came in tonight via drive through almost nine pm Sunday January 4 2026. The kids running the shift decided they did not want to run cards and said we are cash only. I gave her exact coin change and cash bill but she did not give me the correct change. When I asked for a copy of receipt she gave me back the exact change I was owed. She was keeping my change as her own. Not Trust worthy staff. read more

The ice cream formula has changed. It's no longer smooth and creamy. The mix seems to be Cheep. I tried both Vanilla and chocolate. The chocolate flavor has definitely changed not for the better. I thought it may be me but the employees said they were getting complaints about the quality of the product. Hopefully they will fix the issues. read more

We love the newest Twistee Treat in Clermont. It is located at the intersection of Highway 27 and Hartwood Marsh Rd. Everything is new and fresh. The staff is always super friendly and make an effort to express their pleasure that you came by. It looks like they offer the same menu as the other locations. You can get milkshakes, sundaes, dipped ones and so much more. They many flavors to chose from starting with what is considered traditional and reaching out into different flavors like cheesecake, cotton candy and praline. The list is long. The homemade soft serve ice cream is delicious and visiting is always a treat. On our last visit I had my favorite chocolate & vanilla swirl in a cup with sprinkles. I stopped getting cones because of how fast my ice cream melts. Everyone else got their favorites on a cone and for them it was a mad dash to finish it before it dripped on them. read more

I never knew they had a drive-thru! Being new to the area, I always thought it was a walk up establishment. To have these two options available is fantastic. Outdoor seating was clean, the customer service is great and you can't complain about the tasty sweet treats. Pricing is even better! I would much rather come here than other places. Wide variety of flavors and options to satisfy everyone in your group. My kids love trying something new each time. I haven't had a flavor I didn't like. Update: As I've been on Weight Watchers lately, I havent been to Twisty Treat very often. The times I've allowed myself a treat here, the servers have been pleasant and friendly. The only thing I would recommend is that they ask for the phone number, as we are in the rewards program. Sometimes we forget until the end of the transaction. Otherwise - Tasty Treat in Clermont by Kings Ridge is the ONLY place to go for ice cream in my book! read more

Been here four times. Been to a different one in Clermont three times. This one is far superior in every way. Well in speed of service at least. Employees are friendly too. Great service by all the kids that work here. The manager, Matt , goes out of his way to say hello and comes out and talks with the guests.

They're ice cream is delicious...but due to the coronavirus...my visit was not good...there was not one (employees) wearing gloves...went through the drive-thru order a waffle cone...got to the window the gentleman handed me the waffle cone without any gloves on and as I was waiting for extra napkins I saw other employees fixing ice creams without gloves on...so I just gave him back the cone and got a refund...not good service at all!!! read more

Have to start off with how excited I was to finally have a Twistee treat right up the road from me! Been meaning to come since the grand-opening! I went to the drive thru.. normally they are super quick even with a mile line long. There was one car ahead of me @ the pick up window. When I pulled up I was asked to wait, which no problems of course.. until I was sitting there waiting for 6 min without anyone saying anything. So I said hello? And finally someone took care of me. I order the same thing every Twistee treat I go to, a white chocolate peanut butter shake. I pulled up to the window and paid. The young girl was super friendly (reason for 2 stars) and apologetic. Finally got my shake and drive off... to find out it's a white chocolate shake without peanut butter. BUMMER. After waiting so long..I also paid to not get what I ordered. I will be back probably with my kids sense this is my home Twistee treat and they love ice cream. Just Hope for a better experience read more

I have had multiple trips to this store as I am an ice cream addict. I've had many run ins with a Zach and with an Abby that have shown excellent service and given me great ice cream. A truly lively spot. I'm so very glad they opened up a store out here! read more
