She is meticulous and knows how to achieve a natural, youthful look that isn't frozen or over-corrected. I am actually getting compliments on how good I look (it's summer so everyone thinks it's. tan - but it's not! It's Rachel's beautiful work). I'll be 40 in September and I look smooth and flawless. Best part is when I smile, it's an actual smile and not frozen-Botox look. FWIW, I've been getting Botox and Dysport for about 13 years. I've done it all - the big city spas that charge an arm and a leg (I was in San Francisco for 10 years), plastic surgeons in Denver and also spas in Boulder. I actually go and interview people before I commit because I am not about to walk around with a frozen face for six months because I was over-injected. I want to get a feel for how they treat their customers and I've seen it all. Boulder is lucky to have Rachel. She is on par with the spas in metro cities, which are very competitive and only those who understand a natural look survive. Can't sing her enough praises. She has a lifelong customer and that is coming from someone who won't work with other med spas in Boulder.

I went in for estradiol pellets to help relieve a few menopause symptoms. At a later visit, while describing new symptoms, Dr. Rastegar discovered and acknowledged she had forgotten to prescribe progesterone, which is a necessary part of this procedure. She inserted another estrogen pellet before addressing the issue, and added a prescription for progesterone. Once I started taking the progesterone, for the next few months I experienced heavy bleeding and painful cramping, ultimately requiring an ultrasound at my own expense that showed a thickened uterine lining, which is a documented result of receiving estradiol without progesterone. When I raised concerns about the prolonged bleeding, discomfort, and the initial oversight, the response was dismissive and framed as "just a risk of HRT". Dr. Rastegar held no accountability of her oversight, nor did she offer meaningful support. Hormone therapy requires careful management and follow-up. That standard was not met in my case, and I want other women to be fully informed before seeking similar treatment here.

However, this company has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I can't recommend them. A while back, I had tried to get appts for a treatment, but was forced to late cancel twice due to me contracting covid and then my elementary aged daughter contracting covid, once I had a cold sore and they asked me not to come in, and once because I am a displaced elementary teacher and was asked to teach last minute. As a displaced teacher, it is crucial to be available so they will call you again in the future. Rinnova charged me for these late cancellations, which was okay. I understood they were not able to fill that slot regardless of what had gone awry for me. It was a short string of bad luck when I've never had issues with coming to my appts there in the past. For my last appt, they told me it would be no problem to reschedule but that if I canceled one more time then they would not be able to book me in the future. I of course understood this to be the agreement and so I accepted the substitute teaching job for the day and rescheduled, and honored our agreement. Everything seemed fine. I just tried to schedule the same procedure a year later. I intentionally waited until summer so that any substitute teaching assignments would not conflict. After booking my appt, Rinnova called me to say I am not welcome at their business any longer, despite having come to the last appt. It is so disappointing to see a business not be understanding about two conflicts due to covid and the plight of a displaced educator. I honored our verbal agreement which they proposed, and they retracted it a year later; and over the phone, made me feel embarrassed and shamed for it.

I wish I could have followed Randi to Denver. For those of you who don't know me, which is the vast majority I am guessing, I am obsessed with my eyebrows I have always had threading or waxing done by a professional. I admire the really peaked and old fashioned, thicker brows the old movie stars had, and when I moved to Chicago from LA I had to get a new gal to continue this goal of mine. Upon looking in the mirror at the salon down the street from my new place, I was horrified at what she had done to my brows. They were thinner AND the left one had been pulled in too much!!! It was SHORTER!! I searched for some time looking for a gal who would understand what I was going for - I had been close and now it was RUINED! I even drew pictures going in to salons. My biggest fear is that they'd turn my brows into those sperm shaped brows. These women thought I was nuts. Randi did too when I met her, BUT she got it! We worked together on the shape of my eyebrows for some time. Transitional periods are painful, but Randi was great about it. She has an incredible sense of humor and warmth about her, and we always had a lot of fun together at my appointments. After Randi left Chicago, she referred me to a gal who she promised would take good care of me, and she has. Randi's the best, and I have the brows to prove it!!! read more

Here's a copy of the email I sent them in regards to their treatment of new customers: To Whom it may concern, I was to be a new customer of yours, a referral no less. I waited 2 weeks for an appointment with Ken, arrived 10 minutes early, and proceeded to sit there for 45min past my appointment time before finally calling it quits and leaving, as Ken could see me sitting there, knew I was there to see him, but was obviously and purposefully taking his sweet time. The receptionist also seemed to have no interest in doing anything but texting on her phone, or talking about boyfriends and nail polish with the other staff. Drove an hour from Highlands Ranch in the snow storm to get there, another 1.5 hrs home, all to be blown off by your less than professional staff. To say I'm unimpressed is an understatement! I'm sure you'll do just fine without my business, but when asked, I sure won't be referring anyone to your establishment. I will also be on the lookout for any place to leave a public review, suffice it to say it won't be a glowing one. Here's to hoping you all get treated in kind.... read more

I've been drawing my eyebrows on for the last 5 years. I had become someone who was hesitant to leave the house without makeup due to the fact mine are invisible without brow pencil and powder. After years of researching permanent makeup I finally committed. It has been one of the best decisions I ever made. Randi studied my current eyebrow and face shape a recommended that we go a little fuller in some areas that had been fading out to blonde in which was causing it to look thin and uneven. Randi was so patient and she took the time to draw on what my new eyebrows would look like and worked with me to make sure I was pleased with their placement. I completed my 2nd session several weeks ago and am very happy with how they have healed. Ive done my research on Lash extensions, for I have been very curious in them. my Lash's are really important to me in my non-makeup/makeup look. I did a lot of internet research and decided to go with Randi Lynn at Salon Salon. We had a thorough consultation and about an hour later I had amazing lashes everyone ask's me about. I chose to go to Randi because her reviews were great and her pricing was a little less than some a few other places I was looking at. Randi is great, and very good at her job and since we spend alot of time together Ive gotten to understand so much of the process of the lash classes and procedure the process, wow its tedious to say the least. Mesha is the best hairdresser I have ever had do my hair! She is a master with color!! Because I live pretty far away in Lakewood, I had stopped going to Boulder for a year or so, but could never find someone to get my color perfect the way Mesha always does. She listens to me, understands that I do not like "red" tones to pull through with the color, and I love the glaze she puts on with the color. Not only does my hair look and feel amazing when I leave the salon, but it lasts for the 5-6 weeks in between without major fading. I would highly recommend Mesha, and Salon Salon in general. Whitney did my extensions and then I scheduled the fill for 2 weeks later. When I got to the 2-week point I noticed there were lashes hanging into my plane of view, some areas that looked bare so I was very ready to go in and get them filled. Whitney texted me 3 hours before my appointment canceling because she was sick. She asked me for times I could come in for a reschedule, I replied right away and then did not hear from her for several days. Since my lashes were looking so bad, I found another provider willing to do a fill. When I got to the provider she was very worried because the application of the lashes was too far up causing breakage to my natural lashes. I was advised to have them removed immediately to prevent further damage, so they were carefully removed. I was super sad to see the broken off lashes and bare spots. I would advise anyone seeking lash extensions to go elsewhere. I received a refund from Groupon, but am out the gratuity paid to Whitney and the cost for removal which Whitney refused to rectify.
