I love Ritual products, that's all. If only more products were available in the US! Everything time I visit Europe, I stick up.

It's been awhile since I've been in the WTC area. Everything has changed, felt that I was somewhere in a futuristic pkace, then I realized that I was inside a place called the Oculous! It had stores everywhere! AMAZING! Once inside, I was walking through this interesting place, until something caught my nose. As I began to smell, I was determined to seek and find out where that lovely intoxicating smell was coming from. As I turned the corner inside the Occulus, my delicate nose directed me into a quaint little place called "Rituals" The name alone causes the mind to explore exotic places of interest, and trust me when I say that the items in the store allow you to take a journey to the most exotic places.. Even if the getaway is in your mind.. #Amazing! I met some lovely ladies who assisted me with amazing soft scrubs, body washes, as well as lotions... Each set of items were different in what senses to attract: Happy Buddha, DAO, Sakura, Hammam, and so much more..I enjoy each of their salt scrub...#Awesome! I bought a few things to use as a part of my "relaxing" Me time, and was quite satisfied. So, if you need to pamper yourself, and buy some great stuff to go on your own exotic "Journey" This is the place to buy your "Journey package" I love Rtuals. Upon entering this beautiful oasis, I was cheerfully greeted by Ericka. She was very knowledgeable about the products and aided me with my decision in deciding which aroma diffuser I wanted. I took my time to decide and I chose Woody Vanilla. I am in love. It is a perfect diffuser fragrance for my home. Luckily for me, I also bought the last one. I am officially won over. Came in not really looking for anything in particular, got sold on their foaming shower gel for $5 each! Couldn't have done it with Ruhma's help who was super sweet and managed to convince me to get it. My friend and I were the last customers of the day and she was in no rush to kick us out to close up the store. Overrated. Poor service, lack of product knowledge. Sales assistant sold me something I didn't select. Caused a huge inconvenience. I tried going back the next day only to meet up with an acting manager who wreaked of weed. In fact when he walked in from the garden the whole place filled with weed. He could care less about anything. He was useless. They need real assistants. read more

I want to personally thank Amanda. I work in Wall St, and I used to pass by this store every morning walking through the World Trade Center, and unknowingly, I wasn't familiar at all with Rituals. However, I would always admire the store decor and ambiance with those cherry blossoms in the ceiling. It gave me a sense of calmness. Mind you I love anything spa-like, serenity and pure bliss! One day leaving work, I decided to stop in the store and met Amanda. That day, I was really having a bad day and she just completely uplifted my spirits. This young woman knows her stuff and the Rituals brand! You'd think she's the CEO herself; but she was a simple sales associate who just really knew the brand. She sold me so well, I think I ended up spending like $150 that day. I also bought products for my family. But ever since that day, I would always come by the store to peek through the glass to see if she was there because her spirit is truly rejuvenating; I would just buy more! I want to make this absolutely clear. I bought Rituals products because of Amanda period! I don't remember exactly how much I spent in that store in total, but she has put me onto this product so much, if I am not passing through the World Trade Center, or out of town; I am always ordering online rituals.com; I'm pretty sure I've spent over $1000 between the store where Amanda works and online. Amanda truly deserves a raise and promotion, and I do not say this about everyone. But she is a very bright person with a future ahead of her; and I am happy to say that we've developed a business friendship. read more

I spent alot to get their free gift and they never sent it. I was told after telling them the amount and item numbers it was not enough even though it was more than their maximum amount gift set. I've never had a company have this sort of issue. read more

My favorite store I've bought so many gorgeous gift sets for my all of my family, and friends. Love the gift boxes which include all of the products from one particular collection. I love having that option. Love the candles, and scented candle sticks they make my house smell so wonderfully amazing. My favorite collection is the organic rice milk cherry blossom collection oh my goodness the sugar scrub is to die for. Great customer service, and friendly staff members. They welcome you right as soon as you walk into their company doors with samples of the teas they sell. Very cute store I always buys from Rituals. The Rituals company has definitely become my showering ritual. No product has made me as happy as the Rituals company. read more

I just had a quite bad experience with online purchase at Rituals. I bought various products from their website for 70 USD and paid in full. As a token of appreciation - they say - I will also receive their megazine, free of charge. First I receive a confirmation email about my order. One hour later I receive another email saying that my order has been changed, although no description is provided as of what has changed. I ask for more details, but no answer. Two days later I receive an email saying that none of the products I ordered can be delivered to my address in Italy. Then they return 60 USD, instead of 70 USD. I find out they are charging me shipping costs to deliver at my place their free-of-charge magazine. I wrote to their customer service to complain and - again - no answer. The magazine was eventually delivered and I was charged for it. Scam. read more

Strolled into Rituals after work on a lazy Friday night and was approached by Amanda. Unassuming, she came alongside me at the sink and walked me through the "rituals". I just loved how easy her manner was, how unimposing, while knowledgable and passionate about the products! She made me love them and I walked out with one, even though I hadn't planned on buying a thing. Well done Amanda on passion, energy, and a great smile! You are in your element in retail! read more

Rituals isn't as well known over here on this side of the Atlantic, but it is huge in Europe. I think there are just a handful of stores in Manhattan so far. I had actually blind purchased a Rituals gift box online and in my impatience in waiting for it to ship and arrive, I googled and stopped by this Rituals store on my way home from work. Please do not judge my shopping habits. When you first come across this store the inviting sink with the main products from each line they sell just draws you in. It is front and center in the store and I just automatically went to it and started trying the products in the efficient manner in which they had laid it out. It is very effective placement of the sink actually. At other stores, if they have one, it is somewhere in the store or in the back. It is also a very inviting sink in that it is aesthetically designed to be spa-like. There are even a huge stack of towels to dry your hands. Customer service here is amazing. I went in and just started using the sink with the product line I had purchased and someone came by to walk me through the process. I am glad she didn't try the "there must be rituals and you must use all these products in this order" washing line. I'm a New Yorker. I already know that my ritual is what I want it to be. She talked to me explaining the various products while I was using them and she invited and encouraged me to smell the others and even showed me what the products I had purchased online looked and smelled like and was just so kind, friendly and helpful the whole time. At one point, I even told her I didn't want to mix the scents on myself though I was curious about another line and she actually applied it to her own hand and let me smell it on her so I could get a better sense of it than just smelling it from the tube. The scents are all spa-like and so much more subtle and grown up that the US versions which would be like the Body Shop or Bath and Body Works. I think the only thing this store may not have going for it is location actually. I had to search for it and even ask where it was within Wakefield as it is in a hard to locate spot (second floor, past a corner). On an upside, it is next to two more familiar similar stores, L'Occitane and Kiehls, which probably helps with foot traffic when people are shopping for bath products generally to have them all next to each other like that so they are more likely to check the others out at the same time. read more
