I asked her for the item back and that I would go elsewhere. While I understand her frustration she lacked professionalism and was inappropriate with a paying customer. Impulse buying is a merchants livelihood. The concept is during the interim while she is fixing my watch I would be browsing through their store discovering a not-needed-but-wanted pair of earrings or bracelet. I dropped by to take my mantle clock in for a cleaning, they have jacked up their prices and quoted me almost $300 for a routine cleaning. I've been a customer of theirs for years, taken several clocks in for work, had jewelry repaired, etc. I always thought very highly of them and recommended them to all of my friends and family. The gentleman that waited on me, made me feel unwelcome, never smiled or greeted me, I felt as though I was inconveniencing him somehow. Just wow, what a change since the last time I was in there.
