Additionally, Amanda does a lot of body work & noticed during my spray tan that I was having shoulder issues. My right shoulder had been bothering me for some time, & she was the first to tell me without even touching my shoulder that I had rotator cuff issues. After seeing an ortho & getting an MRI, it turns out she was exactly right. I haven't seen her for a massage, but I definitely need to give her a try.

I found Amanda by typing in "spray tan oak park" and feel so lucky that google sent me her way. For starters, scheduling was an absolute breeze. I was wary of texting the number but got a prompt response. It was beyond thoughtful of her to ask why and when I needed to be event ready and she advised the best timing to be sure I'd look and feel my best. Mind you - I had a less than 48 hour window before I had to be good to go. In my experience, it can be rare for someone with the setup and professionalism of Amanda to be able to book on such short notice, let alone for a Friday in the midst of late summer/early fall wedding season. She directed me to her website which clearly lists the standard prep for best results. On arrival, Amanda explained everything that would happen from start to finish then went on to narrate why she was doing what she was doing at each step. She was kind and professional and made me feel very at ease and even finished off with a dusting of homemade powder that smelled fricken DIVINE and ensured I made it back to my car sweat free! While developing, I noted that the formula she used is one of the least smelly I've ever had applied. No small feat considering the beautiful color I got to. I'm lucky to live close by but she travels and I would recommend her to any family member or friend looking to add a little color. Will definitely be a repeat spray tan client with Amanda and very interested to explore the variety of services she offers.

I come back to tan a few days later, and a different girl told me I couldn't use the points I purchased because they were "member points" that can only be used for members to upgrade to higher beds. - so I couldn't use the points they sold me unless I purchased a monthly membership. I asked her if I could switch them to non-member points (and pay for the difference) and she said no. I asked if I could have my money back because THEY sold me the wrong type of points - she said no, citing their "no refunds" policy. I understand the need for this type of policy at a tanning salon, but I only wanted my money back because I paid $50 for something I couldn't use due to their employee's error. She told me to call back in a few days when the manager would be in - I called on the day she said to, of course they said there's no manager in. She said try another day next week - they continued to give me the run around for weeks, and I was never able to get ahold of the manager and they never corrected the situation.
