What made this project especially important to us was that we managed the entire job remotely from our home in Northern California. Danny made that process remarkably easy. He communicated consistently, answered every question thoroughly, sent frequent photos and videos, and kept us informed throughout the preparation and installation. We never felt out of the loop. The quality of the work was outstanding. Their team removed the existing decomposed granite, properly prepared and graded the area, installed and compacted a base, added the weed barrier, carefully laid and trimmed the turf around curved borders and existing stepping stones, secured the edges and seams, applied the upgraded zeolite infill, and power-broomed the finished surface. They clearly cared about the details--not just whether it looks good on installation day. Danny also stood out during the bidding process. We received several quotes, and he was transparent about the exact turf product, specifications, backing, base preparation, and infill options. He did not simply recommend the most expensive upgrade. I'd seen them replace a neighbor's roof and was impressed with how neat and good it looked. So, I was comfortable with them doing the coating, which I didn't even know about. I've been anticipating I'd have to do some major roof work at some point. But, I figure this coating has extended the life of my roof by 5 to 10 years. Showed up as promised, although some of my preliminary communications with the first representative were not relayed to the lead worker and I had to go over some of the same territory. That's my only issue. The work was swift but good. And John worked with me on scheduling payments, because I hadn't anticipated this expense at this time. On that score, John was FANTASTIC! Very willing to work with me and I just paid the balance recently. They also offered and did some touch up painting around my property, which had been fully painted about five years ago. But some edges were cracking. So, they were fixed very well in the same service call. They properly prepared the surface and did not just do a quick patch. My photo is several months later, so the house is a bit dirty, not their work, and the "seam" has always been there. I also had them put on a new wind turbine on the roof over an HVAC unit installed in the attic more than 10 years ago, to let heat escape. Again, neat work. There were loads of assurances that they would happily come back if there was anything I was unhappy about. Great, VERY personable service!

Pineda's Masonry is one of those that are out there and I'm glad that I was able to hire Victor and his company to fix my damaged wall. The quote I received from them wasn't the least expensive but it was far from being the most expensive and landed right about in the middle of all the other quotes. However, the quote from Pineda's was detailed with what work was going to be done, the area that was going to be worked on and the scope of work listed wasn't creating far more work than necessary given that it was a 50+ yr old brick wall that survived major earthquakes and was only damaged because a careless driver drove into it. When Victor and his crew did the job, they were neat and thorough in their work. The area that was worked on was swept clean and all residue from the demolition of the damaged wall was undetectable and the broken brick was taken away the same day. Once the mortar for the repaired wall had dried and there was no rain in the forecast, they finished by putting the colored smooth stucco. All in all, my experience was very positive from getting the quote all the way up to the completion. Victor did a good job of communicating the process and timeframe and set reasonable expectations which were all met. Highly recommended!

While he will execute your vision, he would also provide his own insight to help us think through any considerations as to why or why we shouldn't do something. Whether it was just not worth the cost, add value to our home/lifestyle or a find potential alternative/balance. The statement of work he provides is fully laid out and he explains line by line to ensure we're on the same page. Payments were scheduled for specific milestones. This was our first major remodel endeavor, so quite an exciting and scary process considering the potential investment and living adjustment during the process. We initially reached out to Solomon regarding adding square footage to our home. A 4' bump forward, adding an additional bedroom, and bumping the back of our house for a new kitchen. He was very clear up front of the overall process, timeline and expectations to ensure we knew the order of sequence of how the project would roll out. He spent a good 6 months with us during the planning and design phase, from engineering, blueprinting and permitting. We also visited some of his previous customers and talked to his customers and they all shared the same sentiment of his approach and quality of work. While we did not end up moving forward with the remodel, as we decided to purchase a new home, we did however need to get our home rent ready. It's also important to note that it's also my responsibility as the customer to be available and respond in a timely manner to ensure his teams stayed the course as key decision points. The end result was exactly as we expected.
