Very open and clean. Service was good and the burrito was amazing. It was large and had a wonderful surprise of pineapple in it! It was their Rivas special. The only disappointment was that the guacamole was bland. Since I got it to go, I dolled it up with some cilantro, garlic, and jalapeño at home. read more

Don't bother! No food to review because we couldn't get any help on a Monday at 7:30pm!! Literally no other customers in there. A lady looked at us from food prep area, didn't say a word, then went back to whatever she was doing. Oh, she did ring a bell. Still, nobody ever came out, we waited & we waited. We looked over the menu looked over the menu some more. Still waited some more, & still nobody came out. I said let's leave! As we were leaving I seen her come back to the food prep area but never to the counter where you order. I guess we were invisible customers, even though I knew she clearly seen us. I won't even give them another chance. No thanks! Customers don't matter here! read more

I was a regular customer at Rivas since the grand opening even though it had the smell of an open sewer line. The food was expensive but good, customer service was good. Even though the sewer smell is gone my last visit for lunch on May 28, 2026 will definitely be my last visit. Ordered the chicken enchilada combination plate to go. $15.05 was the total amount of my order but unfortunately when I arrived back to work to enjoy my lunch the enchiladas were flat. Rice and beans looked great and tasted great but the enchiladas had absolutely had no chicken inside just tortillas. Returned the order and they supposedly fixed it with very little chicken. Total disappointment and now they've lost a good customer forever and I'll never recommend or return to eat there again. read more

Rivas Mexican Grill, is friendly & clean, with ample seating. Rivas features a salsa bar with two types of salsa (red & green), spicy carrots, peppers and onions and fresh cut lemons. We came on Wednesday, we had the crispy chicken taco special - very tasty! The Chimichanga is very good, highly recommend the steak chimichanga. read more

Was doing DoorDash delivery today when I accepted an order for the Rivas. I was in the Albertsons parking lot and after I clicked accept, it somehow marked that I was at the location. I didn't think anything of it, since I was only 2 mins away. Once I arrived very shortly after, the worker is standing at the door rudely yelling before I even get to the door "for Uber?" I said no for DoorDash, and proceeded to tell them the order name. She rudely hands me the order and says "make sure you never click you are at the location again, it looks bad on us" I tried to calmly explain the situation three separate times to her but the worker did not care and kept telling me the same thing. Extremely unprofessional and I recommend not ordering from here due to poor customer service. read more

I waited to post, and after four visits since they opened at the end of 2024, I can honestly say all visits were good, and without a single issue. I will say the Wednesday taco deal is decent, but you don't get the full fillings/toppings of the regular priced tacos. My favorite on the menu so far are the steak fries. We take our orders to go; however, the inside of the restaurant was very clean on each visit. The salsa bar offered isn't expansive, but does have a decent selection. Enjoy! read more

On 10/02/25 I visited the grill for the first time in Pahrump. It was around 8am.I wanted to pick my husband a breakfast burrito up and surprise him at work. Let me tell you we were really surprised . While eating the burrito half way through egg shells were in every bite. Very disappointing. Don't think we will visit again. read more

I shouldn't have expected too much considering the McDonald's of Mexican food. it's just above Taco Bell. I called to place a pick up order. I was very close by. I got hung up on three times before they finally picked up the phone. I ordered the ground beef taco plate. OK I get there. the kid hadn't even started. He just then told the lady in the kitchen to make the taco plate so I ordered it to go and when I got home, it wasn't ground beef at all. It was like roast tough not very much of it. The beans were dry and I was very disappointed because I was really gonna go to Jack-in-the-Box and get a couple of tacos they're better than next time. I'll just go to Jack-in-the-Box. It'll be a whole lot cheaper and a whole lot better. read more
