Bell Watertown is a wonderful place to live. We moved here from Arkansas. The staff was extremely helpful with the entire move. They coordinated everything over the phone with us. We had never seen the apartment before moving, and were not disappointed. The community offers a ton of amenities. They have a pool, grills, fire pit, club house, yoga room, gym, dog park, business center, media room, bike storage, the list goes on. The dog park has been a major benefit. It creates great sense of community. Loving here with no friends, the dog park made me feel right at home. I met my now best friends there. I even threw a birthday party for my dog and had almost 20 people show up. The office staff had been extremely helpful. I recently transitioned to a work from home job. The office was great with letting me use the business center for some training I had, which made life much easier for me instead of having to find some random hotel conference room for training. They have always made me feel right at home. The maintenance is fantastic. It feel like things sometimes get fixed even before they break. The service is quick and painless. Rarely even realize they were in here until I finally see what was broken was fixed. They maintain the property very well. They change out the plants seasonally and make the apartment so welcoming. They are very open to suggestions. When the community requested lights at the dog park or the awning at the dog park, management listened. It was completed and made it easier for the community to use the park. Which is great for the pups that will only go in the park. I have been extremely pleased with everything. I would highly recommend Bell Watertown to anyone. Especially people moving form out of state. It is a great community to ease the adjustment into Boston/Massachusetts. read more

We have lived here for close to a year now and this is probably the best apartment complex that I've ever lived in. The maintenance staff responds quickly. The grounds are pretty well maintained. The units are beautiful. Close enough to downtown Boston. My main complaint is that there is no covered parking or garages available, but that may be standard for the area, I'm not sure. It's not Shangri la, but where is? We have been happy with our choice to live here. read more

Ok, this is going to be a very long review, but wanted to provide as much info as possible. I don't write reviews often, but I feel I owe this place one. I moved in for about two weeks now. This is the BEST place I have rented, and I have been renting for the past 8 years. Moving from out state was pretty stressful, but the staff at the leasing office helped me out tremendously. - Visiting I only had one day available for viewing; Bill worked with me to ensure someone will be there. I also asked if I could use their storage before my lease start since I only had two weeks to move (working full time as well). Bill worked with me and was very honest with the cost and the size of the storage. Courtney, who showed me the apartments was also very friendly and honest about the pros and cons. - Signing the lease The apartment I was interested in was not available for viewing, but they were very patient regarding answering all the questions I had about this apartment. And, the apartment is exactly as they described when I moved in. Everything was signed electronically; the background check was quick, very easy process. - Moving in Instead of hiring a moving company, I decided to move on my own, I know, I regret it. But, Bill made it sooooo much easier for me. I shop online a lot, including my mattress. I was really worried that it would be an issue since I would have big packages delivering to the office. But you know what, not only they accepted the packages, they helped me to move those to my apartment!!! I don't think that's their job, nor have I ever had such experience with any other management companies. Then, Comcast had to come in to set up the internet, and of course, I couldn't be home during their hours. Again, the office let them in and stayed. When I got home, they even put my TV up on the shelf I just put together the night before (not sure how they knew I failed to put it up). - The community and the facilities Great amenities, very pet-friendly but everyone picks up after their dog, clean and new, provides a cart for luggage, good privacy, though you may hear something if you are in the hallway, but I don't hear my neighbors at all when I am at home. - Things that could make it even better Well, if I don't write this section, you are going to think they paid me or gave me a discount on my rent to write this. NOOO, I am writing this, because I couldn't think of a better way to thank the team, my other option is to keep buying them cookies or flower :) So, like the other reviewer said, there is no covered parking, but it's free parking. The other thing is no trash chute, but I guess that also keeps the building clean (had visited a few places where the hallways smelled). Bell Watertown is a really great place to live. I moved here from Chicago about 4 years ago, and the current management team is the best to date. They really care about the residents and taking good care of the property - encouraging community, and making necessary enhancements every year. I moved to Bell Watertown four years ago when it first opened. I had owned a home for over 30 years. I moved to Bell with the intention of staying one year and now it is four years later. I love living at Bell Watertown. The Office Staff and Maintenance Staff are terrific, helpful and so friendly. I have only had a few problems ( light bulb needed to be changed.. batteries in fire alarm ) and within hours of putting in a request my issues are fixed. Lived at the property for 1 and 1/2 years. While the management team are lovely persons. Managing the complex seems beyond their scope. The dumpsters are constantly overflowing. They should be emptied more often than they are. Residents do not follow the policy of not leaving things in the hallways and management does not seem to enforce their policy. So you will be walking past trash, boxes, strollers, shoes, etc. The building is poorly built so you hear your neighbors on all sides. You hear people talking in the hallway walking past your door, people in the parking lot and in the dog park. Even the appliances in the units are loud. Snow removal is a nightmare. The bobcat will run all night through the property and still fail to clear the lot and parking spaces of snow. Had a few maintenance repair issues. Nothing gets resolved quickly. When my washer/dryer combo finally got replaced, maintenance attached the hoses incorrectly ( hot to cold and cold to hot). So again had to wait for them to come back and correct it. I had two Amazon boxes stolen from the mailroom. When we left, our bathroom sink got a crack because the glass soap dispenser fell into it. Totally our mistake and were accountable. We received our moveout statement via email close to a month after our moveout with the amount due ( $800 for the sink btw... totally overpriced) but again our mistake. Never received the statement in the mail as promised but I mailed the check off anyway. All of that was within a two week period and Bell sent us to collections. They got a check within 2 weeks for the full amount and sent us to collections!!!!!! Totally totally not worth living here. It is not luxury living but bad hotel living at best. read more

Terrible management team. Paper thin walls. Excessive rents. I have lived in many apartment complexes. Dog poop on the sidewalk regularly. No parking. No sense of community. This is the absolute worst. read more

Bell Watertown in one word: HORRIBLE! They will try to rent you a unit that will not correspond to the unit you actually were shown, ""BAIT AND SWITCH". We were shown one unit and were told that the unit we will rent, it will be identically to the one we see. Loved it, signed the lease and were ready to move-in. On the move-in day, I got the keys, went into the unit, only to find out that is a completely different layout and is a handicap unit. VERY INCONVENIENT for a pregnant woman who had to pack a whole apartment and be ready to move-in into a new unit. When I went back to the office, both managers, and the leasing assistant said they were not aware that the unit was different and it was a handicap unit. They did find out that morning, but didn't bother to mention it to me, instead just took my money and let me discover myself. HOW CAN YOU LEASE SOMETHING AND NOT KNOW WHAT IT IS? They don't even have a sign saying that the unit is handicap on their website, nothing, Did not want to work with us on giving us any convenient options, and we encountered so much stress that nobody should go through. We almost ended up on the street because of Bell, and not to mention we got our deposit check back like a month later. I wish I had to say something better, we wanted to make it work, but they made it impossible. If you are thinking of moving-in to BELL--STAY AWAY!!!! read more
