Reliable, trustworthy and friendly. They absolutely will not overcharge you or try and rip you off. No weird auto shop vibes

One Star Because Zero Isn't an Option…read more I've been a loyal customer at Tireland for decades--my entire family has. But after my recent experience, I wouldn't trust them to rotate a tire, let alone touch my car again. I brought my spotless, well-maintained 10-year-old vehicle in for an alignment. They told me the lower control arm was bad--fine, I asked for a quote and agreed to bring it back the next day. But then they lowered my car, parked it just outside the bay, and the mechanic immediately started blowing out the shop with an air hose. He coated my car in brake dust and filth--right after the front desk woman had just complimented how clean it was. I calmly expressed concern and asked if they planned to clean it before I left. The mechanic lazily wiped a window and ran the wipers. That was the extent of the cleanup. Then, without warning, the woman comes outside, tells me I have an attitude, hands me a $20 bill to go wash my car, and tells me to leave the lot and never come back. I was stunned. I did nothing but respectfully speak up about damage they caused. This wasn't just unprofessional--it was insulting and absurd. After a lifetime of loyalty and countless referrals, I'm done. Whatever Tireland used to be, it's not that anymore. Their customer service is non-existent, their respect for people's property is worse, and if this is how they treat long-term customers, I can't imagine how they treat new ones. Avoid at all costs. Edit, The owners response is a complete and total lie. There was nothing aggressive in my mannerisms or conduct. Any arm waving was me pointing at the dirt and holding my hands out as in, wtf! States she has video, I urge her to post it so you can be the judge. Nasty and unprofessional person. Update! Here is a voicemail transcript from the lady at tireland. The post stays up, she shouldn't be a jerk to her customers. This will teach her. Screenshot of my voicemail page for proof. Steve everyone has told me not to contact you but I want to contact you to tell you just in case I perceived a good person as a bad person. I wanted to tell you why several years ago when I worked at the hospital I was confronted by a patient in a parking lot. He had been upset inside and I got scared today, and I'm sorry if I overreacted. I don't care if you keep your social media post up, but I just wanted to tell you that because it was on my heart. And that's all I have to say. Bye.

Be nice if you would TURN THE LIGHTS OUT on the pumps when you close…read more The pumps are all lit up - when you get off the road to get fuel, there is a little sign (ON THE PUMPS!) the that says you close at 9:00pm. The main sign that tells the price of the fuel was on as well! Only the small sign on pumps gives an indication you are closed. YOU MUST GET THE ROAD TO READ IT. Why not leave the pumps on 24 hrs a day?? Worried you'll make money? There is no employee there during the day either! WHO's on meth there?

I have always found the employees to be friendly and helpful. And I love it when I find Marshall University gear/items. I stopped for paper towels, toilet paper, plastic cups, Cottonelle wipes, hand soap and some over the counter medication for my Mom. I was pleasantly surprised to find all the items on my list. They didn't have as big of a stock as I'm use to seeing in Sam's. However, considering the shortage of paper and other items I was impressed. They were handing out a paper towel and had cleaning solution for self buggy sanitation at the entrance. All the employees were in masks. I went later in the evening so it wasn't hard to social distance from other customers. I also picked up a rotisserie chicken, $4.98, a Marshall t-shirt on clearance, $4.94, a Marshall U cup set, $29.98, and a breakfast pastry assortment for $4.98, which we all enjoyed!
