This is a great campground and is a great place for a family reunion camping trip with our adult kids and their babies.

After a long day of traveling, we had a site in West Sacramento, when we arrived it was not to our liking. After calling several RV parks after hours, no one answered. We called this RV park and we were told to find any open site and we could pay in the morning! To our surprise, our site was next to Feather River. It was secluded, shaded and very peaceful. What a hidden little piece of paradise. This place was recommended to us by a friend, otherwise we probably would've never stopped. This place is right off of Highway 70 so if you are driving by, it looks like absolutely nothing and nowhere you would want to be RVing. But once you pull into the place, WOW! I was blown away at beautiful this place was. We had an absolutely awesome spot with unlimited views of the river. It was absolutely peaceful, quiet and relaxing. You are even allowed to burn in the fire pit, which was nice. There was definitely plenty of space for each site and lots of grass. There are not a whole lot of amenities here except for a bathroom and shower, which I never even looked at because I had no need. But with views like this, I honestly did not need any other amenities. Just a heads up that there is no Wi-Fi here. They advertise that there is, but there is none whatsoever. The gentleman upfront was very friendly and did offer us a modem to use while we were there, but we decided just to do without and instead enjoyed our time there. Pros: The River view was beautiful. It was relaxing to sit out and watch the water after a long drive! There was a quaint Gazebo in the park area to sit under. Provided a nice ambiance. The sites had a lot of room and concrete pad made it easy to put the jacks down. Cons: Bath house was dark but water pressure was good. They were also a good walk from our site. WiFi never worked for us. My phone kept telling me they needed to reset their router. That's first world problems though...... unless your a crazy person in grad school on vacation ‍‍.... then it is a real problem! read more

We just got back from a weekend camp out at this location and we had a magical time! The grounds are well kept and maintained. This property is located right alongside the feather river. There are grass beaches and cool refreshing water to swim in. The flow of the river is very calm so, for me, it was very safe. Bring your kayaks and fishing pole if you have them because there's plenty of areas you can use them. read more

I stayed here from Dec 30 2020 Thru Jan 2 2021, this park is wonderful. It was clean, quiet and everyone was social distancing. My site are level, clean all utilities worked. Found this RV park to be very quiet and bathrooms were clean. Almost every site has grass and shade we stayed in site 38 which did not have any grass but was very shady except in the morning. However, we had a great view of the feather River. We plan to make this a annual stop to rest on our way to the San Francisco Bay area. During our stay it was very hot so we stayed indoors most of the time. Once the sun went down we did take a few evening walks. The tent Site area was very well lit with Christmas lights which made it nice and festive. The only negative thing was due to high heat the Wi-Fi was down but the office was nice enough to loan us a Wi-Fi machine during our 2-day stay. read more

This place is ran by a bunch of greedy crooks. My family has been commimg here for over a decade for our family reunion each year. We are talking like 50-75 campers and dozens of paid camping spots paid for far in advance to guarantee the sports availability. This year as I arrived the camp ground attendant stopped us upon arrival at the entrance, they informed us that we needed to pay an audition cost for a day permit to park our car since we were not staying over night. This was a new development to me as I had never been stopped nor asked to pay any audital costs for visiting. I asked when did they start this new policy, they informed me that it had always been so, I told them I have never been charge on any of my prior visits. I asked how much this day pass for my vehical would be and they informed me it would cost $15.. I gave the young man a $20 and he entered the office to get change. 10 min must have passed by before he returned where at that time he handed the $20 back to me and stated that the cost was $15 per person not $15 per car . There were three of us in the car. So to park my car at the campground for the day would now cost me $45. I was shocked to say the least and angered as I believe they were attempting to charge me more because of my statement that I had never been asked to pay to park my car there in the past. (Them failing to collect any fee in the past is not my problem and I'll be God damned if I'm going to be hustled like some chump fool by a lot of campground flunkies) I refused to pay telling them to go to hell and left. When I contacted my family over the phone they informed me that this was supposedly a new policy. I can tell you that I will NOT pay thier fuckass retarded fees to simple visit the side of a river for the day. They can should've it. My family spends several thousands of dollars to camp there each year. I will not be back. Screw these ungratful greedy petty crook campground owners... After talking to several of my family elders their is a powerful chance non of us are returning g in the future.. read more

This hidden gem right off the highway. You would never know it was a quiet, green oasis was sitting right on along the river. The host and her family were so kind. My husband and I came to Oroville primarily to Salmon fish and decided this place was close enough by where he was fishing. I like to hang around in our trailer and be crafty or relax with our dogs . This place was very quite and peaceful. Very pretty well kept grounds and clean . Only one down side we did get bitten quite a bit from mosquitoes so bring some mosquitoes repellent. The cost of being so close to the pretty Feather River. We will definitely be back . read more

Just got home from staying at this place for one night. This place is a gem. We rented a cabin for $150 which I thought was pretty cheap considering it fits 6 people. The cabin from the outside looks a bit old with cobwebs but the inside was pretty sweet and clean! They had everything we needed except for a TV but who needs a tv on a getaway? Grilled outside with the best neighbors and overlooking the river was the best part!!! Couldnt say it any better. Oh! The man who received us at the office was so nice and accomodating. Then there's the feather river which soothe the hot summer afternoon. The water temp was a bit cold but it made up for the heat of the sun. I'd say bring a kayak :) I'd recommend this place to my friends and family. read more

I took my 9 year old son here for the maiden voyage of our new 30ft trailer. The drive was really easy as the park is tucked in right off the freeway exit. I was greeted by Sherry, who was as nice as you could ask! We got to our site and I was SO HAPPY because it was about as close to the river as I was hoping!! The river was beautiful and there were so many trees that kept us in the shade so we didn't even need to use the awning. The hook ups are easy to use and accessible, the wildlife was awesome and the bathrooms were SO CLEAN, it was amazing! I can't believe how lucky I got to book this place as my first outing. I would highly recommend this place because most of the sites are occupied by people who live there which means for one, different groups are not coming and going all the time. The other benefit is they save the best spaces for people like me who are only staying a day or two so the chances of getting a prime spot are 100%! read more

This campground is really nice. The area around it is questionable. There is not much access to the river. The campground is well kept.

We just returned from a wonderful weekend at the River Reflections Rv Resort and Campground in Oroville. This a wonderful and peaceful Rv Campground that seems like a oasis in the middle of a grey landscape. It is just off the highway but you really won't feel like you are close to the highway. The RV spots are nestled in the trees and right next to the Feather River with grass surrounding gravel pads. Our spot was level and had a fire pit and picnic table. If you want the best spot in the campground we would recommend space #37. It has an amazing view of the river and only has one neighbor. The staff was polite and very welcoming. The only bad things here were the restrooms. Really they were bad with water on the floors and only on stall working. If the restrooms were nicer we would have rated this campground higher. We also noticed that there seemed to be a few long term residents in the park. The rules at check in stated you could only stay for 14 days at a time, but some had clearly been here much longer. When folks start building things onto their trailers they have been here a while. We will be bad for sure. Even with the bathroom condition, this is a beautiful Rv Resort/Campground worth your consideration when in Oroville. It is so much more that the KOA at Feather Falls as that just seems like a parking lot with hook ups. read more

Overpriced. I've stayed at nicer campgrounds for $25 a night. This place charged $45 for a tent space, but we were in a pinch to find a place fast. Next door is a paintball grounds. They sometimes have paintball wars until midnight. So avoid those nights. The sound coming off the highway can be very loud. You are literally camping next to the Interstate. The management was very nice and professional. Nice clean bathrooms. Fishing not so great, you really need a boat. The best fishing is on the other side of the river. For full disclosure, as I said, we were in a tent, so noises from next door or freeway are not dampened like being in an RV or travel trailer. read more

We recently moved our 5th Wheel to this great RV Park. My husband is working on the Oroville Spillway 60 to 80 hour weeks. The owners have been extremely helpful making everything easy & stress free. This park has lots of large beautiful trees and right on the Feather River. It's close to stores and services. Yet, remains so quiet at night. A real pleasure to be here. Zero stars, unprofessional owner Val and no frills here folks!! Keep on rolling past this high priced RV Park because if you stay here you will be nickeled and dimed to deathjust as the previous reviewers warn, they weren't lying. Owner, Val changes fees/rent on a whim with zero or improper notification. Our last day there was when I paid rent on May 1st and received a receipt. The next day Val tried to tell me our rent had increased $50 effective now. We vacated the park that same night and our only regret was that we didn't leave long ago. I have been yelled at, in a very demeaning and unprofessional manner by Val and in front of other campers with no regard for human respect, kindness and honesty. This park is overpriced and not worth the money! Lots and lots of mosquitos, laundry hut horribly dirty and random rent increases are just a few reasons why we finally left. We were fortunate enough to find a well maintained park for half the price Val charges including a pool, laundryroom and many more amenities. So fellow RV'ers you can take or leave this honest review as you like but it took some time to write and the intent is to help others in deciding where they will spend their hard earned money camping and RV'ing. I'm a camper. I can handle the outdoors to a certain extent only nowadays since I've been spoiled by KOA style camping, but have done my share of bare bones camping camping, and that's the best way i can describe this place in few words. Finding the location wasn't that hard at all. Arrived around 1930 right off to the left side of Hgwy 70. Pretty dark in that area but they have a pretty big sign all lit up marking its location. The check in office is small. Very minimal things to inform you on the area really. The owners though are very nice. The owner lead us to our site, 88, via golf cart. It was about 50ft from the actual river. There was a little hill to traverse down to the waters edge. Site had a fire pit, no electric outlets but luckily the gazebo right next to it did, one water faucet as well and by chance we had an extra table, so that helped out a bit. Now to the park itself. When I said bare bones, it's pretty much that. There's a small store that offers not too much at all, but luckily there's a Wal-Mart nearby, kind of kills the "camping" experience, but we had to frequent it for necessities like Ice, Meat, and other stuff. The camp ground itself doesn't offer much anmeties besides the two stall, one urinal, two showers mens room/bathhouse, a small launch ramp for maybe kayaks only and row boats, and that's about it besides the river. Not much at all. But if you just need a place to camp out, then head off to maybe Lake Oroville or Feather Falls, then this would be a place just to do that. The mega downside... THE BUGS! I know they can't help it, but the sites right by the river had an abundance of mosquitos, flies, and maybe fleas. All hours of the day literally. So that was an annoyance, but lesson learned. Come back? Probably not. read more

While this was not our original destination this past weekend, we ended up here last minute and it was great. We called and were able to get a spot that night. We arrived and had our pick of either full hookup or partial (electric/water only) RV sites and choose one closest to the river. The lady who greeted us was very friendly and helped calm my nerves after a disappointing loooong drive to a different campsite. We enjoyed being near the river and my pup loved it! We even rented a single kayak for $10/hr and that was fine for a few hours of exploring. My bf said the bath house was clean, which he appreciated. The park was clean and it was very quiet.
