We come to town at least once a month these days, sometimes more, and River Rick's Pizza is usually our dinner the first night. The pizza is always delicious, and tonight was no exception. This review is more about the staff, specifically Renee, who works the counter. While waiting for our pizza, my husband, a Type 1 Diabetic, started experiencing a low glucose episode. The gift shop for Pioneer was closed while the staff was on break. I quickly asked Renee if we could get a soda for my husband, explaining the diabetic condition. She acted swiftly, stopped what she was doing, and got us what he needed. She understood the severity of the situation and was gracious in the process. I appreciate the friendliness of the people who work here and they do a great job! read more

If you're looking for a hole in the wall pizza spot, this is the one for you. The staff is a bit on the rough side, and don't expect your order to be 100% right every time...BUT the pizza was amazing. We ordered a small pizza with half pepperoni. It was estimated to be a 45 minute wait, but it ended up only being about 30! The pizza was hot out of the oven, served with a side of freshly shaven Parmesan. We ate every bit of it! So so good! River Rick, whoever he is, has the best pizzeria you'll find on this side of the Colorado River. A truly great restaurant. They'll make your pizza exactly how you want it. They'll back that thing up or let you push up on it. Temperature rising? Okay. You can watch the Boomerang cartoon channel while waiting for your food. They have drinks and cookies too. Cozy spot. Wow! After reading numerous reviews of this pizza....just had to see for ourselves. What a beautiful pizza with great taste and the crust having a light crunch. Generous toppings as you can see. The service was fast and very friendly. There was one girl working there and she was very professional and fast. The place is small to eat only like 4 tables but if you order to go it's worth it. We chose to bring it back to room. The pizza was fantastic we got a custom one and it didn't disappoint. We will definitely be coming back and the cost was worth it. Not expensive at all. This is the pizza that America loves, heavy on the toppings, thick on the crust. Cheese is greasy, a knock, but the pepperoni and sausage are on point. I myself is a thin crust guy but this is probably the better pie in our neighborhood. The ownership is beyond friendly, creating good will and buzz among locals and visitors alike. Have you ever heard the saying the best place to eat is a hole in the wall kind of place? This is your hole in the wall. It has a few tables to the left of the door. You place your order on the right. While you are ordering look down and see the fun ice cream for dessert. The pizza is worth waiting for. so good! We didn't have a huge wait time, as we beat the crowd. Next time we are in town, we will be eating River Rick's Pizza! read more

Went to our favor pizza place to eat and was very appointed in a dark hair burnt work at 1:30 we never seen wash her hands, saw her touching her face,rubbing her nose and took her hand to rub her hair! Never saw her wash, or put on gloves and she handle dough with not having gloves on. I told another employee about what we saw AND sure be yell our pizza was next out of the oven. She cut our pizza and never washed her hands or put on gloves. Even when you go handle money you wash before handle FOOD, Come on!!!! Very disappointing !!!! Beware and watch , next time I will go get a manager in there, maybe they were in the big restaurant I should of thought of that. I just tried a cheese pizza from River Rick's. Unfortunately it was very oily for a cheese pizza. It didn't even have the color of a cheese only pizza. The taste of pepperoni was loud and clear with every bite. I don't eat pepperoni. I don't even like pepperoni. The oil on my pizza and the coloration was exactly what you would see and expect on a pepperoni pizza. I'm sorry but this one is an epic "fail". I want to know whether your pie maker had put pepperoni on this pizza, partially cooked it, then removed it after noticing the error. River Rick's is a hole in the wall pizza joint just inside the New Frontier Casino. Thru the main entrance, it's just past the check-in on the left, by the security stand. The pizza was very cheesy and greasy, just how I like it. Tasty hand made dough and pizza sauce, good amount of toppings. While we all have different expectations , the pizza is O.K., expect a medium thickness crust, rather bland sauce, but all in all, not bad, just too much bread for my liking, the toppings were fine. The crust seemed like regular bread dough, unlike any pizza dough I've ever had as a pizza crust. I'll stick with my own homemade pizza, or Mega toppers in Bullhead(thin crust). After trying to decide where we wanted to eat we settled on River Rick's Pizzeria based on the majority of the reviews. They are located in the Pioneer and it's a small shop..3 tables only. I suppose most of their business is takeout. We got here around 4 pm on a Monday (not busy) and had no trouble ordering our pizza and getting in about 15 mins. We ate in the restaurant and the pizza was hot and tasty. The ladies behind the counter were very sweet as well. Would definitely come back if we visit Laughlin again. read more
