This is a 'cheap' prime rib restaurant and I am referring to the actual food quality. The prime rib is acceptable but mediocre at best (bit bland and slightly chewy). The place is quite old. The view is nice. Staff is friendly and competent. That being said... The cordon bleu was disgusting. Had to be returned and exchange for a prime rib. The waitress openly said that most patrons return it... weird. Salad bar choices are very limited and again...cheap. Deserts are industrial. Not worth $28++

We went to the Riverside Prime Rib Room right at 4pm when it opened. Had reservations (which I highly recommend) and were seated right away by the windows -- the view of the river was beautiful and really set the tone for a nice evening. The staff was great -- super friendly and welcoming. Our server Mary was wonderful, felt like we'd known her for years by the end of the night. You start with the salad bar, which was really fresh and had some great options -- I especially loved the beet salad, which was a nice surprise! When you're ready for your main, the carver comes right over to your table and slices your meat. I got the prime rib medium with mushrooms -- SO tender I could cut it with my fork. The crust was seasoned perfectly -- lots of flavor without overpowering the meat. I went back for sides and loaded up: baked potato with sour cream and bacon (loved it!), mashed potatoes, veggies, and creamed spinach. Veggies were just okay, and the creamed spinach was a bit too rich for my taste, but the baked potato was spot on. Dessert is self-serve too -- I had the caramel pecan cheesecake which was so creamy and delicious. Didn't love the blueberry pie with ice cream, but the cheesecake made up for it. Overall, we had a great experience -- relaxed vibe, amazing prime rib, and can't say enough about the staff. Definitely planning to go back!

Prime rib fatty and chewy. Meh I've had better

Price Rib here is so overrated. My piece was medium rare but seemed undercooked and chewy. The steak knife to trim the fat was also dull. The sides buffet of creamed spinach, glazed carrots, potato wedges, mashed potatoes and salad bar were good. Seafood salad was meh. Hot bacon dressing was good. Service was spotty. Server forgot ketchup. Diet Pepsi had a weird taste. Cream puff was OK and soft serve vanilla icecream. So overrated and inconsistent. I'd go elsewhere.

    Huge piece of prime rib!

Loved, loved this so much. Make sure you have reservations and be a little early because the line can be long. The views are amazing for most all of the tables in this room. After being seated you are free to head to the salad bar and fill your plate with salads. It was nice and there were more than enough options for a prime rib dinner. After you finish your salad it's time to head back and select your choice of potatoes. There are mashed potatoes, baked potato and even other choices. Now it's back to your table again. It's time for the Prime Rib rack to be wheeled to your table. The serving size of the meat is not skimpy. You are given a good size piece. The 4 of us all agreed it was probably one of best pieces of prime rib we had ever had. Servers were excellent and everything was delicious. We certainly will be back.

Phenomenal. There are things that I would suggest for improvement but are minor. The salad bar does need some updating as selection is limited. However, no one really is here for salad. Adding soups as options besides the salad would be good as not everyone wants salad but might prefer a cup of soup. Making sure the salad is fresh as some leaves showed it wasn't that fresh. Maybe adding macaroni and cheese as one of the hot sides would be great. Otherwise, the prime rib is to die for as well as the view and the service. Everything was quite delicious and I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

A couple pie options, plus cheesecake, cake, and ice cream

Reservations are required. The dress code is relaxed and children are welcome. Alcohol free beverages are included and Pepsi only products served. Prime rib, Chicken Cordon Blue, or fish of the day for $27.99. Excellent salad bar (all you can eat); a variety of potato options, too. The dessert bar (all you can eat) offers a variety of baked goods and includes vanilla soft serve (served on styrofoam plates). The wine is $6.50-$7.50 a glass and with only cocktail waitress for the restaurant you'll see just one time . The prime rib was cooked perfectly and cut at your table. The server for the prime rib was the messiest- dropped the knife and we were splattered with juice, one slice hit the floor and a spoonful of juice hit the table. Skip the mushrooms they are cold and canned. You aren't given the option of having the juice on the side. Our prime rib was swimming in the salty canned flavored juice. Ask for the juice to be on the side. It's not a relaxing romantic experience. Will we go again? Maybe, now we know a little more; the salad bar was 10/10, meat 5/10 (only because of how it was served), dessert 8/10, service 5/10, atmosphere 5/10.

This place was amazing and definitely great food for the price. These other reviews are a shame, cause it was great service, great atmosphere, and the food was excellent on this Saturday night! ET was a great server! Go for it and take a chance! Hidden gem!

Add dinner at the prime rib room on Saturday night. Reading some of these reviews, I was a little nervous as I've always loved it. It was perfect. The reservations were perfect. We were seated right away. The salad bar was fresh. The sides were great and the prime rib was out of this world. I can't imagine all the negative remarks on this Thank you for a wonderful dinner with me and my friends

I'm giving an extra star because of the overall experience. It's a buffet! Go figure. Just when we had thought the life of 'the buffet' was over following the year of the face masks. This one is going strong. Reserve a spot or you might not get in. We overheard the greeter turning people away or 'wait and we'll try to get you in'. Every seat inside was taken as we walked in for our 5pm sitting. First of all, the prime rib was very good . . . Very good! Of the best "going out" prime rib I have ever had. Very tender. Perfectly cooked. And, the 'oh my' straight-up horseradish was delicious, peppery, and bold. Yes it will catch you by surprise if you are not careful. Service was stellar. The friendly staff and servers always gave their best, despite the constant flow of grumpy old folks and other 'entitled assholes' we had overhead while waiting for entry and while we were quietly dining. All of the reviews are correct . . . canned mushrooms, limited, yet still adequate salad and desert bars and the sides. But, despite the complaints, the $28 price tag is one of the better deals for prime rib anywhere . . . even Vegas. The cut was thick ~3/4", ~10oz was a good portion. The service was odd, but adequate with your first walk-up buffet salad and starch selections before the main entree's are served to your table. Oh, we had to ask for salt and pepper. Other than it being very much a buffet, it was a decent night out, with plenty of food and plenty of friendly severs providing a grand atmosphere. We didn't sit along the river view, but me facing the entry, provided plenty of things (people) to look at. And when was the last time you saw an actual "doggy bag"? No reason to go anywhere else for prime rib while here in Laughlin/Bullhead. Dicks

For a casino, it's decent prime rib, and the buffet-style choices of sides are decent as well. Service was good.

Fantastic. Cooked like it had something to prove. Juicy, flavorful, and honestly the kind of steak that makes you pause mid-bite and reconsider your life choices up to that point. But let's be honest--Pam Pam stole the show. Pam Pam doesn't just bartend... she commands the bar. Drinks don't get made, they get orchestrated. I'm pretty sure she made my cocktail with one hand, took three orders, solved a minor dispute, and still had time to roast me for not knowing what I wanted. Efficient? Yes. Intimidating? Slightly. Entertaining? Absolutely. At one point I'm convinced she knew what I was going to order before I did. I asked for a recommendation and she looked at me like, "You strike me as someone who thinks they want whiskey but really needs a margarita." She was right. I didn't question it. The vibe? Somewhere between a high-end steakhouse and a family party where the funniest relative is in charge. You're not just a customer--you're part of the show whether you planned on it or not. Since I knew that the Fish N Chips offered here was no longer All You Can Eat, I opened with an add on: a refreshing Side Salad with Honey Mustard Dressing. It contained several small cubes of tomato, and helped to fill me up, as designed. Our entrees arrived soon afterward. Besides Coleslaw that had a good balance of creaminess and crunchiness, and nicely seasoned elongated French Fries, the battered fish on my plate consisted of three large batons of very heat-hot fish that tasted great dipped in provided Tartar Sauce after application of a little lemon juice and malt vinegar. One of my batons was a little undercooked; the other two were perfect. Diane liked her Fish N Chips as well, plus the Fried Shrimp, but wished that her shrimps had been battered rather than breaded. Our server, Chris G., did a great job of waiting on us, and quickly fulfilled our requests for ketchup, malt vinegar, and in Diane's case Coleslaw removed from her plate. Even though I was pretty full at meal's end, I knew that if we had gone to an AYCE place like Black Bear Diner across the Colorado River, I would have downed at least one more filet of fish. The Fish N Chips offering here was quite reasonably priced, so Diane and I discussed putting in another order to split, and decided to do so. Thus, I called our server over and tried to put in the order. Alas, I was told that no more fish remained--but not to worry about making a belated request, because the cook had informed him that no more fish remained right after receiving our initial order. So we couldn't have had more fish even if we had tried to add a third helping with our original order. Next time I will arrive earlier in the evening!

Then we noted that the restaurant was within 30 minutes of closing. So, we quickly diverted to El Charro in Bullhead City, only to learn that it, too, was about to close. So, I turned around and headed here, even though OpenTable reported that no time slots were available. I dropped Diane off before parking, and she easily scored a table here. In fact, hardly anyone was seated inside the restaurant, and it did not seem like a festive Mexican holiday at all. The Tuesday Night Menu was very limited, but I selected very tasty and smooth Stone Guacamole not prepared tableside but including tomatoes, White Onion, and jalapenos, to go with house-prepared salsa and spiced up Tortilla Chips. By request Diane received a complimentary basket of non-spicy Tortilla Chips, as well as a Kids Cheese Quesadilla. Somehow this filled her up. I, on the other hand, ordered a Southwest Beef Burrito with added beans inside, and Roja Sauce and Queso on top. The burro was large, but I finished it, along with more beans, and included rice. Everything tasted good and washed down well with Diet Pepsi. Service by Brett was very good, and at least the decor of the restaurant had the festive feel of Old Mexico, in this instance without the camaraderie of fellow celebrants.
