No problem with the RV I do wish we were told about the switches at the door, hot water or a list of what did what, otherwise, it was fine

If you're looking for an Rv experience and you don't want to have to pull or drive one to your destination, then I highly recommend giving River Rv a call. They will drop off your Rv at the place you choose and set everything up for you. All you need to do is bring some blankets, food, and drinks and you are good to go. If for any reason you have a concern, River Rv rentals will address it in a timely manner. Why buy a trailer if you are going to use it 2 times a year. We are so happy we rented from River RV Rentals for our Lake Havasu trip at Black Meadow Landing this past weekend! Heather made the whole experience fantastic, with great communication and support before, during, and after our trip. We are longtime Motorhome owners but ours has gotten too old for long hauls, so we decided to rent. One of the best things about renting is when we got there and the tailer was all set-up, AC on, and ready to camp! The Jayco Flight 28' trailer had plenty of room for our family of 4 to cook, play and sleep. The price was reasonable and we were very happy with the RV we selected. This is my 5th yr in a row renting from River RV. Heather is the best. quick response- super accommodating. easy terms. each time by the time i got to the camp ground, trailer was hooked up with AC blasting, fridge nice and cold. One year they even brought out an extra fridge that was hooked up outside. Now every year we rent at least 4 or 5 trailers for the week. we'll be back again next year too, God willing. I had an awesome experience with this rental facility. Heather responded to my email quickly. We spoke and the trailer was reserved. When I arrived at Buckskin State Park, the unit was ready to go. The AC was and the frig was cold. The bed was very comfortable! The best feature of the trailer I rented was the size of the bathroom. It had two access doors, a large shower by trailer standards, and plenty of space to move around without bumping into a wall. In addition, the trailer had ample storage. The awning was electric and easy to put down. The trailer wasn't new, but it's the river people. The trailer was lovingly used. You didn't need to worry about the sand on the floor. There was even an outdoor carpet for the outside area. We had an great trip and I'll definitely be calling them soon to reserve for my next river trip. read more

I had a reservation and had to cancel last minute, actually the day I was supposed to pick up my rental. I called Heather early and explained my situation, without any hesitation she explained she would try to re-rent my reservation and would refund me if she could. The rv we rented was great with the exception of a small fridge but they had so many extras it was easy to overlook that one thing. I had a great experience with river rv rentals. My family was staying at Buchskin state park and me not my cousin have rv's. We chose River Rv rentals because it was close and a good value. We both rented and were very happy. The trailers were clean well maintained. The trailers were delivered on time set up and cool inside by the time we got there. We both were very happy with the family that runs this business. It's a true family business which made it feel great to give them our business. I read the comments about cleanliness in the other reviews and wasn't afraid of a little dirt since we were rv camping after all but I saw no issues with cleanliness. If I can rent from them all the time I'll never buy a trailer. read more

This was pretty much one of the worst experiences I've had with any kind of lodging. Although they delivered the unit on time as promised, that was pretty much the only thing that went well. We went through three nights with no heat, as the batteries would not hold a charge, even after the owner came out to look at it after the second night. There's room for disagreement--I say that there was something wrong with the battery/charging system, he says I had 'bad gas' in my generator after seeing it laboring to charge a completely run down electrical system. What is beyond dispute is that he didn't empty the gray water tank before he delivered the unit, and we ended up with soaked carpets and reeking gray water pooled in the shower the morning of the fourth day. We cut our vacation short, left our event early, and fled the stinking camper. In a phone message to me, Will said that he hadn't emptied the gray water tank before delivering the unit to us, but was not interested at all in refunding any of our money. At the prices we paid (it worked out to $130/night, or $162 for each night we were able to stay in the camper), We could have stayed at one of the nicest hotels in the area. So--warning. This place has no problem at all giving you a camper with defective systems, and at least one of their campers has had its carpets and cabinets soaked with gray water. Plus: the owner does not give even one half of a damn about it. read more

Rented 5 travel trailers this past month and very happy with all of them. Trailers were set up and ice cold when we arrived.

Heather was absolutely fantastic, she answered all my crazy questions and made me feel like an old friend. Our RV was perfect in size and floorplan. I'm letting all my friends know about this place and we are definitely renting with them again. The process was seamless and uncomplicated. You order what you want and they come and set everything up with the air conditioner on waiting for your arrival. When renting a trailer without pictures or knowing the make, model or year...it can be risky. I did read the reviews before showing up so I was very worried (but had already paid and planned the trip). The trailer is much older than I expected. I would recommend bringing your own towels, pillows, blankets, cookware etc. The 5th wheel bed was fine but the pull out couch was terrible and tiny. We were worried to attempt to pull out the bed that is near the kitchen/table area because it seemed like if we touched it, it would break. Basically could sleep 3 people plus an air mattress. read more

we rented a fifth wheel for $135 a night, they set it up at park in big river, the park was nice. the fifth was old and not kept up. be careful when renting rv's from this company. it was 115 degrees out and the trailer had no canopy, the shades inside where old and damaged so the heat was miserable in this trailer, the air conditioning did not work well and I had to put a pan on the floor the whole time because air conditioner was leaking. I had to throw away some food because the fridge was not getting cold enough. the beds are horrible no cushion at all, I could barley walk in the morning because felt like I was sleeping on springs all night.. this rental trailer was the worst vacation ever., read more

ZERO stars if I could... this place was AWFUL!!! Worse than a dirty hotel! Do NOT recommend! Where do I start... we did not get pictures of the trailer before hand, so when it showed up it was MUCH older than expected. The beds we SO uncomfortable, couch sinks in (so you ended up sleeping in a crack on a bar), table bed slanted down, very hard, & felt like it was going to break, bedroom bed you were laying on straight springs, bunk beds very small (not even twin size); 2 of the kids were so uncomfortable they slept on the boat because it was better! The power/AC went out at least 25 times during our stay, they said we must of had too much plugged in but all we had plugged in was their leaky coffee pot. Lastly the doors... the 5th wheel had two doors, one was stuck locked from the outside (key didn't work), the other did not lock from the inside (& we had 2 young children staying with us, so that was nerve wrecking knowing it wasn't locked at night). One day the door that didn't lock from the inside got locked, and we all got locked inside!!! We had to passed the key to someone outside to see if they could help, but it wouldn't open. We finally got the second door unlocked from the inside so we could get out, but then the door would shut. Long story short, do NOT rent from these people! They charged us $135 per night for this piece of crap, and said they wouldn't do anything about it because basically you get what you get, sorry. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! read more
