And somehow she made it fun. And shoutout to Dylan and Jesse, the MVP assistants they're hilarious, so encouraging, and make squats and lunges feel like a social event instead of punishment. Fast-forward: I can run again. I finished a whole month-long running challenge at my gym in August. This from the same person who was treating a dog walk like an extreme sport back in March. The entire staff at Parry PT is exceptional, upbeat, and genuinely cares. There's this sense of community in the clinic. If you need physical therapy, go to Parry. I needed PT really bad, my initial assessment from PT was several days after I moved in then I never saw anybody else for about two weeks, when I went down there to inquire as to why I was told their records show OT has seen me everyday. I filed a complaint with Medicare for fraud investigation. I was also shocked how little equipment they had, I was told their other facility had all the equipment, so we had to wait in line and there were some severely disabled people there. Absenteeism was a big problem which resulted in over an hour response time minimum, one of my CNAs spoke no English at all I would ask her to do something she would nod, leave and I would never see her again, it got to be where I would yell "don't act like you understand me when you don't!" Finally I went down to the nurse's desk to complain and the whole staff came out to gang up on me, how dare I complain about someone who speaks no English, the nurse finally told me that I am receiving good care and I should be happy to receive the care I'm getting. I complained to the administrator and got an apology, after that when I asked that CNA for something she'd bring in somebody else to interpret (a waste of staff don't you think?). My roommate contracted COVID and they wound up quarantine us both no medicine. I asked the doctor for something like paxlovid any kind of prescription, he turned around and walked out. Was it effective no they wound up quarantine the whole Wing. All the physical progress I made with my PT over the weeks went right out the window and I had to start over again. This used up the time to get covered by Medicare which I felt they should cover as they didn't properly treat me. Speaking of the doctor he played footloose with my medication (they just can't leave it alone), when I showed my PCP what he did, he was livid why go to the trouble of assigning and tweaking medicine only to have somebody change them willy nilly without consulting as to why? I consider that arrogant! I had a talk with the dietitian and was assured everyone was getting their nutritional needs considered only to find out all the patients got cheap sugary Kool aid to drink Food was horrible I lived on sandwiches and take out Good luck getting somebody to answer the phone. No I will not go back.

I was never an official patient of Julie's, but she provided a lot of reassurance, resources, and care to me over text and voicemail. If she'd do this for me, I imagine her actual patients are even more taken care of! I reached out to Julie while pregnant, and even though she mostly specializes in PT postpartum, she recommended some exercises to help with my hip strength. She also took the time to explain some pregnancy body changes 101 to me. Postpartum, I also reached out right in the middle of covid19. She explained her in depth cleaning practices and spacing between clients, all of which sounded very thorough. I happened to reach out relatively early in my postpartum journey, so she directed me to some of her YouTube videos for pelvic floor but also encouraged me to check in again later if I wanted to seek care. I greatly appreciated Julie's attention and help over the phone, especially knowing she can book out weeks in advance. I know other women who have greatly benefited from her in-person care, as well.

My copay is approximately $15 per session. Appointments are typically scheduled in advance - often in a series of sessions that span several weeks or months - to ensure continuity of care and steady progress. This consistency has been essential to my recovery. CLIENT / PATIENT CARE Physical therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience - it's a journey, and I'm still on mine. While I'm not fully recovered yet, I've come a long way, and that progress is thanks to the amazing team at Burger Physical Therapy - especially my Physical Therapist, Sam. Sam is absolutely incredible. She's compassionate, knowledgeable, and deeply attuned to the needs of each person she works with. She meets you where you are, both physically and emotionally, and walks with you - step by step - toward where you need to be. Communication is so important in PT, and Sam exemplifies this beautifully. Whether you're someone who is shy and reserved or more direct, she has this effortless way of adapting her approach to fit your personality and comfort level. I've had the privilege of watching her work with a wide variety of clients. One moment that stood out was when she supported someone who seemed overwhelmed and resistant to almost every suggested activity. Rather than becoming frustrated, Sam calmly and creatively came up with alternatives on the spot - demonstrating not only her expertise but her empathy. It was truly inspiring to witness. Personally, she's helped me immensely - not just with manual therapy and movement retraining, but with understanding why we do each exercise and how it helps in the bigger picture of healing and long-term recovery. That kind of education empowers you, especially when you're navigating vulnerability and uncertainty. TEAM & SUPPORT STAFF Beyond Sam, the entire Burger PT team deserves recognition. From the front desk to the physical therapy assistants, every single person I've encountered has made a positive impact on my experience. I want to give a special shoutout to Ashley, Margery, Gavin, Noah, Susanne, and Jalila - each of you has played a role in my recovery journey, and I'm truly grateful. You guys are absolutely sweet. I've worked with several of them. They've watched me fumble and make mistakes. It's a vulnerable position to be in, but they've always treated me with kindness and respect. They have always been on top of scheduling my appointments and working myself and my insurance company to make sure the lag time between approvals and appointments doesn't affect my PT and care. SUMMARY Burger Physical Therapy in Natomas is truly a gem. What they offer goes beyond physical rehabilitation - they provide compassionate, person-centered care in an environment that feels safe and encouraging. To Sam and the entire team (Ashley, Noah, Jalila, Gavin, Susanne, and Margery): thank you. You've helped me reclaim a part of myself back that I lost after my injury and reminded me that healing is not just about regaining mobility and strength - it's about having a community that believes in you, encourages you, and helps you find the right balance between mobility, strength, and proper form. I'm so grateful to have found this team and look forward to continuing this journey with them by my side.

I was having issues with poor posture because I use the computer a lot and read books, so I'm constantly rounding my shoulders, and whenever I exercise, I was uncomfortable and in pain. Addie saved my posture and money from having to go to the doctors and chiropractors. After measuring you with alignment tools, Addie creates a list of personalized exercises to target certain areas that need improvement through strength and stretching. She is always concerned about your safety and comfort with the routines, so she'll modify the exercises. I've done the routines twice a day, once in the morning and before bed, and I've seen so much improvement. She recommended I get a professional massage because some of the exercises did not improve my shoulder mobility, and the massage therapist found giant knots and got them out over a few sessions, allowing me my mobility back. Then, the routines became easier, and my posture and mobility improved a lot again. My spine, neck, shoulders, back, and hips have straightened out and aligned properly, allowing me to exercise and move without pain. Addie is professional, knowledgeable, cares about your well-being, and follows up on your progress. I recommend her to anyone and everyone because she has improved my quality of life and happiness by providing an affordable and less invasive solution to poor posture.

I thought it was my form or had too much weights but a few certified personal trainers at 24 hour and Raquet Club said that my form was good and didn't have any clue why my shoulders would pop in and out. They told me to have my shoulders checked out. So I go to my doctors and my doctor recommends me a chiropractor. I went to a license and certified board chiropractor and I got temporary relief but my shoulders issue kept coming back. So I got tired of spending money at the chiropractor and wanted to research if there was a long term solution. I extensively google non-invasive therapy and stumbled upon this postural therapy. I thought I give it a try. I met with the owner, Addie. Very pleasant, respectful, professional and knowledgeable person. She has a nutrition background certified personal trainer and posture therapist . She taught me why and what's causing my shoulders to pop. My posture is bad due to a slight hunch in my back and my neck leaning forward to my constant work on the computer and looking at my cell phone 24/7/365. So she measure my body to figure out a precise routine for me to help with my shoulders from popping. After going over the issues and the first routine, I FEEL A GREAT RELIEF WITH MY SHOULDERS NOT POPPING. FINALLY!!!! I purchase 8 sessions in order to fully transform my body and for personal training $440. Addie recommends to do the routine which is about 10-15 minutes twice a day. After consistently and continuing with my routines to strengthen my posture, I haven't had those random headaches, shoulders poppin in and out, and shin splints. I have a piece of mind that I don't have to continue and to spend money to go get temporary relief when I can control and maintain my relief. WHERE WAS THIS! when I was spending thousands of dollars over the years to get temporary relief. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!! [A+++++] Body Realign to those who are tired of temporary relief with shoulders, knee, hip, and neck pain! THANKS BODY REALIGN!

HOW I FOUND CALEB: I originally went to a chain PT facility…read moreand was displeased. The communication was poor; I never knew who I'd be working with. I would be passed around to 3+ people during a visit, never knowing who the people were, what their positions were or what we were working on or toward. At one point, the kid who checked me in up front was asked by a PT to have me do a set of exercises. Ten mins later the PT came back in yelling at the kid for having me do them incorrectly. I suffered a tremendous amount of pain the following week. After 3 frustrating visits I called it quits and started looking for a REAL PT. I found Caleb. MEDICAL ISSUES: At the time, I was still in the process of working with specialists to figure out the issue. I had completed a triathlon shortly before the pain began.I eventually found out that I had 2 lower disc bulges (one touching a nerve), a torn hip labrum, a fluid filled sac in my greater trochanter area and osteoarthritis in my hip and knee. I was experiencing pain from my lower right back down to my toes and having nerve pain that made sleeping impossible and life in general feel pretty unbearable. HOW CALEB HELPED ME PHYSICALLY: Care was always one on one. Before we really knew where the pain was coming from, he would ask a lot of questions and we would work on those particular areas and surrounding areas that he suspected might be causing or contributing to the pain. At that time, my symptoms were changing pretty frequently and Caleb was great at being able to adapt quickly. I can recall many times where one exercise technique was either too difficult to grasp or too painful to do and he was very knowledgeable and was able to offer alternate exercises that worked best for me. He paid strict attention to my form while performing exercises and corrected me when necessary. Caleb is very versatile, so whether you're at the point where all you can manage to do is perform stretching and strength exercises on or near the table or if you're looking to build on the strength you already have via weight training, he's got you covered. HOW CALEB HELPED ME MENTALLY: When I first came to see Caleb I was pretty depressed. I had been active my whole life (running long distance the majority of it) and doctors were now telling me I wouldn't be able to do the things I loved anymore. To add to that, I was in a ton of pain, which for anyone experiencing persistent pain, you know how tough it can be to cope with mentally. From my very first appt, Caleb was always so uplifting and had confidence that we could prove the doctors wrong. To sum it up, he made me feel like my world hadn't ended and I'm telling you guys...him being able to change my outlook on the situation meant everything to me because my biggest challenge was in my head. I cannot thank him enough for that! HIS BEDSIDE MANNER: In short, he's awesome!!! He loves his job and it really shows. He is extremely knowledgeable (you'd be hard pressed to catch him off his game). He is professional yet approachable. I always felt comfortable with him. Unfortunately, due to insurance reasons, I have a new PT for the surgery I just had (it took me a long time to write this review), but would give anything to go back to Caleb. Right now with my current PT, I have days where I think, "I'm in a lot of pain; I don't feel like going to PT today." I never felt that way under Caleb's care. In fact, it was quite the opposite. I would think, "Gosh, I'm in so much pain, I can't wait to go see Caleb!" How you feel with your PT makes all the difference in the success you ultimately experience. END RESULT: More than a year later, more issues were identified through medical imaging (issues that could not heal themselves) and my pain (although more manageable) was still there. I made the decision to have surgery. Looking back, I wish I would have worked more with a PT on some of the newer issues that were discovered to see if surgery could have been avoided or at least prolonged. OVERALL IMPRESSION: I still talk to Caleb. He is so passionate about his profession that he can't help himself by helping others, even after your time is up with him. I truly valued his care. He is smart, professional, kind, funny, easy to shoot the breeze with, and is well worth a try. I hope that I can work with him again!
