What…read morestood out to me during my visit here is that it has two supermarkets which are Mariano's and Jewel - Osco. Other stores in the shopping center are Supercuts, Sprint, Petco, Toys "R" Us, GNC, Wing stop, Meatheads, PNC Bank and Orange Theory Fitness Center. As for my visit, I came here on two separate occasions which were to utilize the Red-box machines at both Walgreens and Jewel - Osco, plus for a TCF Bank visit at Jewel - Osco. It seems very redundant to have two Red-box machines next to each other, as well as two supermarkets in the same center. It would be more beneficial to put one of the two in another neighborhood versus both in one neighborhood, but that's just my opinion. Moreover, depending on the time of your visit you may encounter many of the Lane Tech College Prep students due to the campus being next door, so don't be surprised. As for future visits it would most likely be for TCF Bank deposits which I do like once every month, but since there are so many Jewel - Osco locations scattered throughout Chicago/Chicagoland with TCF Bank branches attached the chances of regularly visits for me are very slim. The Christmas light outside looks pretty amazing when it's on. It has a different color including blue, red, yellow and violet. The reindeers and snowballs outside were looking great. This Christmas decor was bought by this mall. And if you're looking for a decor that has a fair price and has good quality you can come to this place. My mom highly recommends this mall. It's been over a decade since I've been to this mall so I was very excited to return. Thankfully, the parking garage was right next to the mall, so it was a short walk to the entrance. The outdoor mall was extremely clean and absolutely beautiful. We browsed in and out of a few different stores and everyone was very nice and attentive. The one store that caught our attention was Laderach, which was a Swiss chocolate store. We were able to sample truffles and chocolate bars and it was probably the best tasting chocolate we've ever had. We also stopped in to Coach and I ended up buying my daughter a cute, Coach bag. With stores like Zara, Fabletics, Alo, Louis Vuitton and Nordstrom, you truly get a great, shopping experience at this mall; there's something here for everyone. There's also ample seating as well. If you're in the Chicagoland area, this is definitely the mall to visit. You will not be disappointed!

My lovely wife and I finally visited the Fashion Outlets of Chicago for the first time over the…read moreweekend. Technically this shopping emporium is in suburban Rosemont, and hardcore shoppers from out of town have been known to make some last-minute purchases here before flying out of nearby O'Hare Airport. Most local shoppers drive here, and grouse about the cost of parking to shop here. We arrived via the free shuttle bus that makes a circuit around Rosemont hotspots and connects to the Rosemont CTA Blue Line station. We are not huge shoppers, but we enjoyed checking out a variety of stores and eyeballing the public art installations. There were deals to be had if you wanted them. We also enjoyed a couple of free treats from the wonderful chocolate shops, and there is a decent food court if you need a bite to eat. Amazingly there is also a 7-11 where you can get a beverage or snack, and the prices seem to be the same as those in standard 7-11 stores not embedded in shopping emporiums.

The architecture was, and still is, different in a good way, with more skylights than other indoor malls. I don't think I ever bought anything from here except coffee from a place on the second floor. Maybe something from JCPenny. I know so many people who spent part of their childhood or high school years here.

With nice landscaping, wide roads, places to sit around, plenty of parking, and nice looking exteriors to the shops, this is really a nice area to hang out and relax in a spot that feels more like a suburban shopping center.
