After checking in, I waited about 35 minutes before the technician finally came over to start my nails. Throughout the appointment, he didn't say a single word to me, even though the other technicians were talking with other customers. When it was time to pay, I was shocked to be charged $70. I didn't request any nail art or special design, my nails are short, and nothing about the service was different from my previous gel fills. There was no explanation for the price increase. Unfortunately, because of the long wait, poor customer service, and unexpected charge, I won't be returning. I was really hoping this would be my new nail place!

here is an extremely honest review if you have the time to read it. it was saturday night around…read more6:45pm, and i completely forgot i really needed to get a pedicure done before my family gets to town. i've only lived in the area for a few months now, so i was still trying to figure out what nail salon i liked best. the one i've been going to was ok, but they were closing in the next 15 mins and i know they wouldn't take me as a walk in. so i jumped on maps and found lavish salon was open until 9pm, which was interesting to me considering that is not common for a nail salon to be open late. i figured i'd call and give them a chance, and he said it's appointment only but can get me in in the next hour. so i get there, and from the outside it's not your average looking nail salon like you'd see at a strip mall or a shopping center. the door was locked so i knocked, and Ty let me in. I was also greeted by his cute rotweiller sabel!!!!! (i LOVE dogs) when i got inside i realized i was the only one in there besides one other woman, which i then realized (with all bad things going on in the world) i was actually kind of nervous. but Ty got me sitting down and immediately got to work, and we start to chat. He is EXTREMELY personable, we talked about his kids in florida and how he's owned this salon for 6 years. he took his time with the massage which is not normal, most places usually have a timer or seem like they're in a rush, but Ty seemed to enjoy our convo and kept the massage going! i also found out the other woman is his girlfriend (who is such a sweetheart) and had a nice conversation with her as well. the vibe is 1000% not what you'd normally get at your average salon. Ty's salon gives off a very 'mom and pop' feel to it, especially with his dog walking around. I will a million times take my money to a business like Tys over your average salon, especially since he gave me, hands down, the BEST pedicure i've had in awhile. I'm completely blown away with my experience, and he now has a forever customer if he'll have me. Thank you so so much Ty.

DIP/SNS on my real nails and it's always a baby pink. Ty was kind upon arrival and was on time, but his salon is clearly dirty. It doesn't appear as though he washes his tools after each customer nor lines the pedicure bowl from previous pictures on here. My nail color is extremely uneven, my nails are poorly filed and shaped, and he didn't ask me what shape I wanted. One has already chipped. I just am so sad that I paid $60 for this. Especially in this economy. Please just make customers feel like they're important and that you value their patronage.

To add to the frustration, I had called ahead & they said they could do a mani/pedi for me in 15 minutes so I came in, chose my color & was placed in a chair. Over an hour later they finally came to start on my nails. I ended up only being able to do a pedicure due to this. My nail tech said something about my cuticle & then cut it & ripped the skin all the way up the side of my nail then put my foot back in the water. I flinched & said it hurt. She said she was "keeping me from getting an ingrown" but there was nothing wrong with my toe or my cuticle & even if there was she shouldn't just yank skin off like that to cause infection. The girl next to me said her friend walked out because they started to soak her nails off & then nobody came back to her. The staff actually seemed amused at this - I wish I had walked out too.

Super friendly from the minute I walked in - great appt. system - clean, lovely lobby- I was offered a beverage and checked on while I waited just a bit for my appointment (I was early) - The place is immaculate, great atmosphere- feels fun and feminine. Separate rooms- one for manicures, one for pedi's - I tried the VIP quiet room since it was my birthday. The massage chairs in there unbelievably comfortable! Brand spanking new and fantastic! They even have a place to slide your arms in for a forearm and hand massage ! All the treatments during my pedicure were individually packaged & smelled amazing!
