I came for a pedicure, was it relaxing? Yes. Could I have done a better job at home? Also, yes. The guy put one coat of polish on. That's it, so of course it chipped within a few hours. Also, something I didn't notice until I got home, my toe nails on my right foot he kept long and all nails on my left are cut short. Do you know what heartbreak is? I'll tell you what it is. It's discovering the best gel manicure you've ever had, and not living in the state. I ended up coming to Tennessee for a visit but was unable to get a gel manicure before I left home. The shop was close to where I was staying so I gave it a shot. I was immediately greeted upon entry and asked to pick out a color and what services I wanted. They have a wide variety of colors, and even some ombré polishes. They have the pricing sheet at the checkout so you can take a look at their services before you decide. That's always appreciated at nail shops especially when they have those extra add-ons. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of my manicurist, but it was legit one of the best gel manicures. She was so attentive to my nails and really took the time to shape/trim them. I have short nails so I feel like everyone's always in a rush to just slap the polish on there but she truly took her time. The manicure ran me about $45 with tip. So sad that I don't live in the state so I can come back again. I definitely recommend. The shop is quite welcoming and has more than enough seating. Today was my first time here, my friends are regulars and wanted to come here. I was pleasantly surprised. It was nice and clean inside, all of the employees were wearing masks, and all were very nice. Ja'nel did my pedicure, and was very gentle (I'm a wimp). Overall I've had a great experience, Ja'nel is my go to. She is incredibly funny and sweet, and always does an amazing job. The only time I had a bad experience was when I had to wait over an hour and a half for a pedicure. The owner apologized profusely, and explained the mix up. I went in for a mani/pedi and wanted a Pride inspiration mani found on Pinterest. To start, the pedicure was so relaxing and perfect. I got the deluxe so there were lots of creams, scrubs, and lotions that helped get all the dry skin off my legs and feet. For the manicure, I requested a gel manicure with 4 white nails and rainbow on my ring finger and showed a picture of what I was wanting. The technician did an amazing job and was so precise the entire time! He never rushed and made sure every nail was smooth and hangnail free before starting the polish. Beniki Nail Spa always does a great job on my nails. My only complaint would be their time management. My last two visits have not gone well - the first, I was there before the salon opened and although they asked me to sit in a seat, they proceeded to help 4 other people before me. I watched two employees fold towels for 15 minutes and I had to complain before the manager asked one of them to assist me. The most recent visit, I made a 10am appointment thinking that would help with my last issue and I watched two others come in after me, get seated, and worked on before anyone even acknowledged me. They didn't actually start my services until 10:35. All in all, their staff is very nice when they do attend to you and they always do a great job on my nails. They have also recently expanded their salon so there are plenty of stations for large parties. The salon also very clean! Go check them out! read more

I have been getting pedicures for the last twenty years and I just received the best pedicure ever. The salon was spotless and very well decorated. The music was relaxing and just the right volume. Everyone was kind. The nail polish selection was huge. The tech that did my pedicure took time on every step. The massage was amazing including a hot towel and oil. The polish on my toes is perfect. I used to go here often and they did a great job for years but now there are newer employees and it seems they prefer customer quantity over quality service. After my pedicure he started on my manicure with a utensil that had a ton of skin on it. When I asked why there was skin on the utensil he told me that skin was from my pedicure . In addition, after politely asking the manicurist 3 times to get the skin around my nails better he seemed highly annoyed so I gave up. Very disappointed to go on my vacation with nails like this. This was my first time at this nail salon. I went here because my regular nail salon closed early today. When I called to make my appoimtment for 4:00 pm, I verified they could do a dip with white polish with glitter/sparkles. I was told they could. When I arrived, I was asked by 3 different employees what color I wanted. I told all 3 white with glitter/sparkles. I waited until 4:20 pm before a guy finally started on my nails. He asked me what color I wanted. I told him white with glitter/sparkles. He painted my nails, coated my nails with the dip (I'm not sure if I'm using the proper terms) and proceeded to add the top coat. I asked him where the glitter/sparkles were. He said "oh, you wanted sparkles?" He added a little bit of glitter and the picture is what I ended up with. There is a dark spot under the nail polish. When I asked about it, he became frustrated. I along with 4 of my girls went here to get a pedicure done for my wedding. I was the first one to get started and the last one to finish!!! The lady doing my nails was one hateful SOB. I dont recall her name although I wish I had it. But she was a taller/fat dark skinned woman with blue hair tips. She didn't smile, when she talked she mumbled, she half assed did my toes and overall just so unpleasant. She made me want to just get up and leave the moment I sat down. I didn't feel welcomed and tbh I felt like i was just wasting her time and that she was pissed to be at work. I've told many people not to go here just because of this woman. Apparently shes known and a lot of women I know try to avoid her at all costs when going there. Take my advice, if you do go here ask specifically NOT TO GET HER! read more

I visited Beniki this past Monday for a gel polish change. The appearance of the salon was very nice on the inside, however the service wasn't. I didn't receive a hello, just "what are you getting done?" I was told that the wait would be about 30 mins due to being short staffed. That was fine to me, because I had no plans. The issue arose when people came and were seen before me that had no appointment. I continued to observe and no one even said "thank you for patience" or something. Two were finished and I was still sitting there. Then I requested a particular look on my nails and then nail tech gave me an excuse as to why she couldn't do it. I settle for a solid color and let's just say I spent money on something I wanted to take off immediately after walking out the building. I've never left a salon so upset in my life! It took 4 hours for a fill and pedicure! I repeat 4 hours and No I did not have to wait for service. They were literally that slow it took 4 hours to complete the service! I asked for a soak off and a dip overlay of my natural nails and a pedicure! Simple enough! No not for this salon! The nail tech said no I'm not going to soak your nails off, I'm just going to give you a fill! I had on acrylic she then proceeded to give me a hard gel fill which I had no idea as to what was and I was not informed that I would be spending $60 for a SINGLE FILL!!!!! When I asked for a overlay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then after the pedicure I asked for only two coats of the polish! The last tech say no you need more as I SAY NO Repeatedly!!!! She still proceeds to put four coats after I consistently said no!!! I didn't want to make a scene so I sat saying no that's too thick and I don't like! This was my first and LAST visit to this nail salon!! Bottom line complete the services as asked and there wouldn't be any misconceptions! A complete waist of $100!!!!!!!! read more

I really liked the atmosphere here. I'm usually weary about letting people clip my cuticles because I ALWAYS get cut and bleed. They didn't cut me or hurt me in any way and they played jazz music to relax everyone. One of the male workers was even dancing as he was massaging a client's hands. They were great with my 4 year old but she was done before my pedicure even started...then when my pedicure finally started the guy didn't even ask me which pedicure I wanted when they offer 3 options! He was so rush the whole time I didn't enjoy it at all and the last thing it was was relaxing. He also didn't give me the manicure I asked for when we first walked in. I have been here before and had a great experience. Nikki is fantastic, however I had the most unfortunate experience recently when I had the dark skinned female with blue colored hair. She literally grunted at me. No conversation and no response when I talked to her. She took exceptionally long and I felt like this may not be the best choice of occupation for her. I felt unwelcome and the pedicure was subpar. This isolated experience is the reason I can not go back. Just switched to this salon about 4 months ago, and am very pleased with the services I get there. The salon is very clean, well decorated, with a pleasant, warm environment. They have a huge selection of colors, and the quality of the work is top notch. I find the staff to be friendly, and I never feel pushed to go for the more expensive services - whatever I select is fine. No tacky homemade signs hanging on the wall, and no salon managers rushing the technicians to do more. Highly recommend the place! read more

BeNiki nail salon is one of the TOP nail salons in Mt Juliet or surrounding areas. They are amazing and friendly. They take their time with each and every person when they walk in. They take appts and walk ins. The staff is just fabulous. The salon is inviting and well maintained. One of the cleanest nail salons I have seen and their prices are affordable too.
