Not bad. I think it's the only restaurant in Pateros. We landed there to meet up with friends. The place was empty at 4pm. I'm not usually a 4 o'clock dinner eater but we had some time constraints. The menu was a mixture of continental fare and Mexican food. I had the sirloin steak ranchero. I'm not sure why ranchero because there was no ranchero sauce anywhere. I added rice and beans and a side salad. The steak came with grilled vegetables much like you get with fajitas which were a nice addition. The sirloin itself could have been charred better. It was barely browned so I'm not sure how they cooked it. I asked for medium rare and they got that right. The portion was ample and the service was good. The view of the Columbia/Methow River confluence was nice too. Not sure I would go back but you never know. read more

I got the chili dog, the dog itself was pretty good but what the heck are these fries..... the texture of packing peanuts. one end are overcooked; the other undercooked. please get some new fries. I can confidently tell you no one wants whatever these are. read more

Great pit stop when camping around the area. Came here on a Sunday and there was no wait. Wait staff were great. We ordered the California and Irish Benedict but found our eggs hard boiled, not poached. It was too funny to even be mad. The potatoes and everything else was great though. Beware! We just came for coffee and dessert so I can only speak for that. It started out with like warm coffee. I asked for a new cup. Again, luke warm coffee. It just got worse from there... really dry old cheesecake, and the chocolate cake had a strange texture and taste. My diabetic son said "it's not worth an insulin shot" lol Also, during the COVID pandemic... the water glasses were sitting on the table when we arrived and no hand soap in the bathroom. A bit of a disappointment for our first visit. I get that it's difficult these days but paying attention doesn't have anything to do with that. We ordered food and I ordered fish and chips as I had asked if they had horse radish and she said yes. My husband ordered the carbs asada. The kitchen guys were hustling and moving for sure and one of the girls had good hustle too. The one who took our order seemed slower and appears she is new. My fish and chips sat in the window for over 15 min and they pulled 7 plates and took them out while mine sat there. When the food was brought over the other waitress was the one that brought them and as she put my plate down she said "I'm sorry we don't have horse radish". And that ruined it for me. If I have known that I would have ordered something else. The fish tasted pretty good as I took a bite but it was not hot and the French fries were cold. $36 for the two meals that were not served hot was a put off. Not sure if we will stop in there again but we will see. read more

Other reviews here are right on it. You will NOT walk away hungry from Ed's Mudville. The portions are huge and whether you're there for breakfast lunch or dinner - all the food is delicious (i've been trying something different every time i go - fyi the french fries are amazing). It's not a swanky place but it's clean, the service is fantastic, i love the trivia questions (which change), the over all experience of Ed's Mudville is good solid food for a good solid appetite at a good solid price. I cant even say I would give this restaurant even one star worst service I have ever had In my life. First off I waited an hour for my food before I left. There was no communication between the front of house staff and with the kitchen. Only once in an hour did my waitress come check to see how we were doing. People who were seated after us had there food 30 mins before us the staff was not understanding of the frustration and were very hostile. read more

Definitely don't recommend. We called to order to go, under the impression that this place was in Brewster, because everything says it's in Brewster. So we drive from the lakefront river in Pateros, to Brewster, can't find the place from the address. So we call back and he tells us that they moved6 months ago, and they are located BY the gas station in Pateros. I'm like, ummm ok, no big deal we will drive back. So I google more because I swear it said Brewster, and I find another address in Pateros. So I try to plug that address into GPS, we drive back, but the address isn't coming up with anything. We get back to Pateros and try finding Ed's, It's dark out and there's like No signage and not much light, and no businesses are lit up. So finally I suggest going back to the hotel to ask when I realize there's a restaurant (with a COMPLETELY different name) attached to the gas station. Sure as hell, that was the place. No signs, no good address, different business name. It had been 45 minutes since ordering and the food still had a decent temp, so that's nice. They gave is a lot of dipping sauce so that's cool. But the food, especially after all the fiasco, was meh. I ordered the Panko fried shrimp That wasn't panko, it was like thick beer batter. The cocktail sauce was ketchup and what I believe was tapatio of cholula. It just wasn't good and I didn't end up eating it. Meh. Super disappointed read more

Fantastic food, large portions, great options and very fair prices!! My kids are picky eaters, even at 16, but there was something for everyone. The employees were all very kind and helpful, excellent service. We'll come back when next in the area. read more

We stopped here for a midday breakfast on our way to Seattle and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was great as was the service.
