She is the most caring and most gentle person I have ever met. From the first day she treated me like we were old friends. I was comfortable around her from the first minute we met (which I feel is super important when it comes to someone in the medical field). She sympathizes with the fact I'm in pain and does everything in her power to make the cleaning of the wound as bearable as possible (if you've never had a bad burn, this is practically impossible). I wish I could give more than five stars, I highly recommend her!

I will start with the last incident because it was so serious On the second Wednesday they were supposed to watch her, I got a call saying their caregiver was sick and would have to leave. I was expected to drop everything, rush home and save the situation. It seems to have escaped them to have found a replacement caregiver (such as sending some office staff) Other problems I had: The first caregiver who was supposed to drop my mother off, arrived late without a car making that impossible They sent an email on Friday saying they couldn't provide anyone on Sunday Monday they asked for a meeting. I said when can you be here. They picked Tuesday 10:30 a.m. Ten minutes after they were supposed to be here, they called to say they were running late even though they had picked the time They also claimed my mother, who hasn't watched tv in 12 years, was anxious to get the TV room back in shape Funniest of all, they called to tell me that my refrigerator didn't have a lot of food and maybe I could watch my mother while they went to the grocery store Needless to say, I terminated my relationship with these people

There is a shuttle service to BUMC Roberts Bldg, but, unless it's too hot you can just walk over. Deep Ellum is just one block over, so, there is lots of eating and entertainment within walking distance. Twice Blessed is where out of town patients and their care giver stay post Transplant, for approximately 90 days. During that 90 days you and your care giver are going to clinics, education classes, physical therapy, dialysis, or whatever is appropriate. Apartments are $50 a night for a single which has two twin beds (I call this the Lucy and Ricky Apt) all utilities paid. Apartments are fully furnished with a small T.V., free WIFI, couch, recliner, dinette, stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer, coffee pot, can opener, silverware, pots, pans, and, some dishes. Everything is of cheap quality, but, it is appreciated. The commode is only bolted on one side. When you lean, it leans. Catch my point? It also leaks like crazy. But, don't worry, if you fall off the pot, Fire Station #3 is right across the street. There are rules you are supposed to follow. They say no to smoking, alcohol, and, pets. Not even a goldfish is allowed! Trash is to be placed into a black can and sat outside the apt Su - Thur from 1800 - 2000. I've always been a rebel when it comes to authority. Just sayin' I don't always play by the rules. Small apt, appx 600 sq ft. For convenience at $50 a night, I really can't complain. I am fortunate to have these services made available to us. God Bless Twice Blessed!!

It's great that it's walking distance to the medical center. However, there are shuttles that come every 15 minutes Monday-Friday or you can even drive yourself (you will have to pay for parking, FYI). The front desk lady, I forgot her name, was extremely pleasant. I'll be sure to get her name next time I'm in town. There also is a gym that's decent, along with a swimming pool. I did see a computer center but it was on the weekend and it wasn't open at the time so I'm not sure the actual availability for the computer area but you can just inquire. All of the units are air conditioned and there is a microwave, stove, oven, fridge etc. The biggest plus is the location like I previously mentioned.

I was very clear that I wasn't ready to schedule yet -- I just wanted information. Instead of answering questions or offering a brief consult, my call was canceled simply because I wasn't prepared to book appointments on the spot. That felt dismissive and sales-driven rather than patient-centered. As someone recovering from surgery, I expect to be able to ask questions and make informed decisions about my care without pressure. This interaction made it clear that Luna prioritizes booking over listening. I won't be moving forward and will be sharing this experience with my provider.

This is from their website: "Commercial insurance: Standard co-pay We accept all major commercial insurance plans, including most PPOs and select HMOs." They also list United Health Care as one of their in network providers. We did our due diligence in making sure our insurance was accepted before scheduling this service and was told we would be charged no more than a $35 copay per visit. We consistently asked why we weren't being charged copays for each time, with no repsonse. A credit card is required up front. They didn't provide a bill until my husband cancelled services after being required by his surgeon to see a different therapist, at which point my husband's credit card was charged $420 for 3 sessions and were told our insurance is out of network. We called the insurance company who confirmed this and let us know that this is a common scam from companies like this. The insurance rep also told us each exercise billed was coded as the most expensive option rather than the more affordable ones. I'm surprsided to see positive reviews because I can't imagine we're the only ones dealing with this fraud. We thought home therapy was the best choice but obviously regret that decision now. It's companies like this that are on the wrong side of healthcare.

He is able to take on any issues I'm having specifically that particular day and understands my problem areas and how to attack them. Note: this isn't a simple snap, crackle, pop type of establishment where you go because you want a cheap adjustment. Although they are very capable of doing so, I would say this is the type of doc I trust for long term, comprehensive care. I have referred many friends and family and will continue to do so.

My insurance hadn't kicked in with my new job yet but they offer a type of one time membership fee that provides discounts on each visit. Dr Grimm is the only doctor there and does a great job addressing your symptoms. Scheduling is spot on and all my appointments have started on time. In addition to adjustments, he uses a treatment method called A.R.T. Active Release Techniques. This focused on my particular muscular issue and I'm feeling better sooner than I expected. It hurts a bit during the treatment but no more than a deep tissue massage. I'd definitely recommend him for advance athletic injury treatment as well as standard chiropractic services.
