I ended up being charged $90 for an oil change. Granted, I did not ask beforehand how much it would be because everywhere else I've gone it has been half of that cost. I'd recommend asking for the total upfront because I definitely felt ripped off knowing I could've gone a couple exits down and got it for $45. Otherwise, staff is always nice and it's easy to get in and out pretty quickly.

My father in law has taken his vehicle to Fred's in Wentzville regularly for quite a while. When I figured out they had a st charles location I was happy because it was closer to home. The car was overheating so I took it to them. The said they ran a pressure test, it was my head gasket(s), and would cost me $6000.00 to fix. I then took it to another mechanic who ran a pressure test that clearly showed it was just a water pump and it cost me under $500. So they either never ran a pressure test, and just made something up, or they have no idea what they are doing! Either way, I will NEVER give them another dime of my money.
