I told him I was traveling an hour to test drive it and he said come on in. When I got there the bike wasn't there. The person there, Max, told me it was the manager I had spoken to. He couldn't find him. He also didn't appear to try too hard. Max made it clear that he wasn't the source of the problem. He also made it clear he was not going to be the source of a solution. Max's only concern was that the issue didn't affect him. When I made my displeasure known, Max told me to leave. The only help he was willing to provide was to help me out the door. Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. Carytown Bicycle fails to realize three important elements of business: 1. Business goes where it is welcomed. 2. People spend money where they feel appreciated. 3. I ended up trying a Verve +3 lowstep e-bike. Bryan took the time to answer all my questions about the bike and dive into interesting facts. His knowledge felt endless on bikes!
