Mrs. Yelper and I both took ill over New Year. It happens. We both went to an Urgent Care, spent 5 hours each, got a prescription for pills we couldn't take on an empty stomach but we we too sick to eat, and spent a night and a day in major YUK+ land with no sleep. In 1 visit to Low Cost we got a pain shot for headache, antibiotic shot, and 1 other shot probably for nausea. Practically cured by the time we hit the parking lot. $240 each. The doctor at Low Cost gives shots, fast and effective help. Isn't that what doctors are supposed to do, help people? God bless places like this that help the common man and Mrs. Yelper. read more

The website says respectful an caring for the community. I went in to be seen I was running a fever last night and bad coughing . The girl who walked me to the and took vitals was very kind and polite. The PA who... came in barely looked at me she just asked to see my throat, I have asthma , and they have this on file because I've been here before . She didn't check my breathing, she didn't look in my ears , how can you barely look at me or engage with me and your in the medical field ? I'm a human being in need of care and you just seemed to have a sour attitude. The PA LEFT THE ROOM without saying anything another girl returns and says they have prescriptions and shots , I said for what what is it that I have what am I getting diagnosed with , she states IDK , we don't know she's not a doctor so can't run certain test . I went on a week day because I had a sore throat for a week and was painful to swallow. I went maybe an hour after they opened and didnt wait long in the front. They checked me and gave me antibiotics that was for 3 days and it went away the next day (i finished the medicine of course so it would stay away) I would have to say the place is not bad for minor things like this. read more

Went to this clinic for a TB test. Was told to return on a specific day for results. After returning on the day specified, the front desk clerk told me the time had passed, and I would not be allowed to have a reading. I lost 70.00 and made three visits to this clinic. I understand the clinic representative told me to return on a wrong day, but I do not feel it was intentional. The representative made an honest mistake, and I paid a price. Beware! Although the consultation is "low cost" at $35, nothing else is. My son had a throat infection that can easily be treated with simple antibiotics as it usually is but instead the PA wanted to give two injections, ibuprofen and amoxicillin for a total of $195! Since this wasn't the first time I had been here I already knew there was a catch! The catch is a cheap consultation but expensive add ons. The antibiotic which you can buy for $4 was priced $30! Luckily, I don't have a problem denying over priced services. I'll take the consultation for $35 and get my prescription for the antibiotic and ibuprofen to fill at my local pharmacy. So, I ask myself: how many people fall into this trap? The answer is obvious, a whole lot! These clinics may advertise as low cost but they sure make up for it once you're behind those exam doors! She is very nice, and she actually listens to what concerns me. She's not the kind that will dismiss you. She explains thoroughly and makes sure you understand. Besides the wait all is good. But the waiting, oh boy , it's special. You get sometimes to wait two hours, and if it's busy , do not get up ! you do not need to go to the bathroom, to your car or smoke, do not get up , or someone will take your seat right from under your butt, and then you're left standing . Make sure you bring entertainment. The staff on the other hand is nice, front desk is a bit clueless, but nice nonetheless. The Pa's are the reason we come here. We have no insurance, and they always treat us nice, especially my small daughter. The price is always right. They are very affordable, both for the visit or any treatment , and at the end of the day, it's still ten times better than waiting at the ER . read more

These people are not interested in helping you, they just want to take your money. I went for an ingrown toenail. They however first just gave me antibiotics for the infection (though even if the infection heals the infection will come back if the ingrown toenail is still there). So I came back after 7 days to get it removed, and the "doctor" told me to come back during the weekend (why not just treat it that day?) I couldn't get in contact with the doctor that was supposed to treat my ingrown toenail and the staff was very rude and unprofessional and refused to help me. During my first visit, they sold me Ibuprofen for $10 (about $3 at the store) that I didn't ask for and didn't need (it didn't hurt which I told them)... and was pitched a $130 check up for a blood test and cholesterol (I"m a 25 year old who's worse medical problem is an ingrown toenail). So after $200, I still have an ingrown toenail (and it is infected again). Do not go here they only want to empty your pockets and the staff is rude an unprofessional. And I question if the "doctors" actually know what they're doing, since they can't even treat an ingrown toenail! read more

Expect high wait times. Called (Friday) and asked for their clinic hrs they said they closed at 8pm. I got there at 6:45pm and was told I would have to come back another day because the doctor left already since it was a slow day. Went the next day (Saturday) and got labs done. Was told it would take 2-3 days to het my lab results back. I received a call Monday morning and they told me I had to go back because they did not take enough blood to run my tests. Like are you serious. So I go back again and has to wait, you would think since they messed up they would put you in front of the line and take you back and draw your blood again, but nope. Then same day they call me again asking me what lab tests were the ones I requested? Like are you serious! So I told her which ones. Surprisingly the lab results were ready for pick up the next day (Tuesday) but I couldn't make it so I went on Wednesday. They had me sit in the waiting area. After waiting for like 20 minutes I went up to the window and told the girl why is it taking forever if I am only here to pick up my lab results!? This place has got to get it together. Worst health care ever! Do not go! Came accross some of the most rude and unprofessional staff of people ever! The "doctor" that day came in what seemed like hungover and even though she couldn't even tell what it could be my husband had (bad knee pain)she seemed to be guessing and was just like oh well what do you expect after years of working ext! Then they try to make you buy all this medicine they supply and I was like what are these pills for?...they just said "I'll write it on a sticky note and you can google it!" Oh my word! So get ready to pay 100+dollars because yes the consultation is 25 but then they want to give you this and that shot and prescription meds. Ridiculous!! My husband and I couldn't be happier with the care we both have received here. Maria is a incredibly great P.A, Edgar is wonderful and very detailed. I have been coming here for years and prefer them to my insurance company prescribed doctors. It's more affordable than using my insurance due to the high co-pays. I've been here once before and was pleased (for the most part) with the clinic. Tonight I called at 7:20pm to make sure they were open until 8pm and I spoke to someone named Cynthia who told me they were already closed! I said "The website says you're open until 8pm." She said "We take the last person at 7pm. We open at 8am tomorrow." Um....if you advertise that you are OPEN until 8pm, why would you take the last patient at 7pm?!? When I asked what time I'd need to be there to be seen, she said "Before 7pm." That makes no sense! Why not make that clear in their website that walk-ins are only accepted until 7pm! I've been once. Had severe pain and swelling in my foot. Do not have insurance so the $25 office visit was very appealing. The staff that was there was very nice & courteous. I did get 2 prescriptions which helped tremendously. Was sent for xrays the next day. Total cost for the visit, prescription and xrays $104. Would definitely go again if needed. read more
