Had a very bad experience with this company recently . There a terrible company . They are rude on the phone and have an attitude when you speak to them. They do make many excuses why they cant deliver cubby beds that they have been on back order which is a lie. I spoke to someone there and they have no knowledge on the medical equipment and are unprofessional . They say they work 6 days in a row that's a lie because a gentlemen there told me there not allowed to do overtime and they said the insurance does not pay them to deliver it and they schedule it on there company time. stay away from this rude company. read more

I had a very bad experience with this company mostly because they know you need them if you can't fix the wheelchair your self it's been no consideration for my and my issue with the wheelchair they provided of course threw I.e.h.p but the first week of getting my new quicky my front small wheel bent so it started hurting my shoulder blade and I called and they had to order parts the hole process so 2 months passed and now my brake fell off and the front tire fell off so now I have only 3 wheels I have been on and my small left wheel been grinding so yes my shoulders are hurting and they send a young man that determans that he cannot fix it so he can't fix front wheel or the brake or at least replace them because from that I seen the wheel stripped the threading because I used it after was loose so I now today have a wheelchair that prime medical did not want to replace the wheels replace the brakes and of course left me in disappointment rolling on 3 wheels ,sad and disappointed depressed because I have been waiting on prime medical to help me fix the chair they stood by that if would break they would fix it and well that was a complete lie 3 months and this chair that prime medical stood by in quality has been falling apart and I'm helpless because I'm holding them to there advertising promise and they have failed to help me with this wheelchair I cannot move far in this chair but I just wanted prime medical yo fix my only way of moving around but this is the reason I have desired to leave a warning to someone that is thinking of getting a chair of false guarantees by prime medical, please think about it they are no good as I sit in my 3 wheel chair sad and disappointed depressed and dead ended by the way prime medical supplies have left me . read more

I was referred to Prime Medical for a custom wheelchair from my doctor. Initially they seemed great, they came out to measure me for my chair and got it ordered and I was excited. I'm now in a situation that I have to replace that chair after only 2 years because of their mistakes. They made several decisions for me without my knowledge (like the model and sub model, wheel size, castor options, back seat angle, and so much more) and also pushed me to use their dimensions even when I wasn't sure (things like seat angle, inset foot plate distance, and so many other things.) I was also mis-measured on the knee to foot height. They should have measured it so my height was in the middle so I could adjust it up or down depending on my needs but they didn't and it's now to low at the highest setting and my feet hang which causes pain and discomfort. This is my first chair so I thought it was great however the longer I used it the worse it got. I did everything I could to change the chair to make it more comfortable by getting a different seat cushion, wheels, castors, and backrest to name a few. It got to a point I couldn't let them even touch my chair because they damaged my frame so bad they had to replace it. They tried to blame it on a manufacturer defect but their tech stripped out a barrel screw because he didn't know what he was doing. He damaged so many other pieces using vice grips on all of the soft aluminum parts and marred them terribly. After that they weren't allowed to work on my wheelchair at all. They did however still bill my insurance for labor anytime I got anything new. They also ordered me a new seat cushion for "my trouble" after having to replace so many pieces they damaged, it took forever AND, they charged my insurance for that new seat cushion they told me was a gift. I didn't want a new seat cushion or need one at that point. Even if I didn't I would have chosen another Jay cushion as they're awful. They also ordered me the wrong seat back and then lied about it telling me the one I wanted was no longer available. They just wanted to order from their distributor not the other company i'd asked and been approved for. Everything with this company is a nightmare so please don't waste your time or effort with them. Also in the process of me getting a new chair (my doctor sent the referral to them even though I asked them not too) I have a specific make and model I want. When I spoke with someone there I was told me there's no way my insurance would cover the chair I want and that I exceeded the weight limit (I'm not even close to the weight limit). When I asked them how they knew my weigh I was told they have my medical records from my doctor so I asked them what my current weight was. I was told that information was in their archives and couldn't be gotten. The woman I spoke with was happy to basically tell me I'm too fat for the wheelchair I want which is a blatant lie. I know this is long but please take my advice and find a different company because this one is awful. They overcharge IEHP for their services and, once the product is delivered, they avoid any responsibility for maintenance. They pass on the referral to a different company to address the problems caused by their poorly made equipment. An older man named Mr. Davis, who is not a doctor despite wearing a lab coat, is involved in this process and does not know how to use a measuring tape! Due to HIPAA regulations, I won't disclose specific details, but I urge everyone to be cautious when dealing with this company. Its a TCS for me for (Total Customer Satisfaction). I would like to give importance to their Office Manager Ns Michelle she is very polite, very kind and generous. She is the key in hiring people for the right job. If not for her qualities I do not think I will be making this review. Credit also to their Transportation Supervisor Mr George for everything. This company absolutely does not have the patient as their concern. I would rate them negative stars if possible. After working for a year to get our adult disabled son a powered wheelchair, his insurance assigned the job to this company, Prime Medical Supply in Corona, CA. From the first contact with NJ, the owner, she was slightly confrontational. Just to take the basic information she was rude and unprofessional. The next person that contacted us was an older guy. He was beyond rude, impatient and made off handed anti LGBTQ and racist jokes. I was offended immediately, but for the sake of time and keeping in mind our goal, the patient (our son) front and center, I continued the process and scheduled a measurement appointment with them. Rescheduling chemo therapy appointments and work to get this finally moving forward for our son. The day of the appointment, the older guy called me very frustrated that he could not find our house. As I was trying to give him directions, the entire time he was huffing and puffing, even groaning. He starts yelling at me that I was giving him too many directions. I assured him we get weekly deliveries at our home from UPS, FEDEX and visits from home health. That he was actually very near our house. I asked if he needed to write the directions down, to which he continued yelling at me. Saying they were a medical supply company not a direction store. My husband offered to drive to meet him. He was about 6 minuets from our house. The guy refused to come to measure our son saying he would get lost. So, because this guy is too immature and frustrated to listen to reason and follow any directions, our son must wait another who knows how long to get help. Ridiculous!! Please take time to read the other 1 star reviews for these people. Racism and rudeness are repeated many times. Hell today I finally received my son's wheel chair, my son is 6 years old and he has Autism. I wanted to leave a review in regards to the service I received from not only the tech but also for the company. As soon as I received the referral for my son's wheel chair they sent me someone over to get my son's measurements and also brought a sample wheelchair over so I can get an idea of what my son will be receiving not sure who the first techs name was I think it was the same guy that came over. His name was Edwardo he went over and beyond to make me feel comfortable and answered any questions I had. He was very relatable trust worthy person to have work for this company.... Update! 8/30/2019 IF YOU PLAN ON RETURNING EQUIPMENT YOU WILL FIGHT THE BIGGEST FIGHT YOU HAVE EVER FOUGHT FOR IN YOUR LIFE! She also told me why am I calling back a month in a half later.. when I first called her it was the first few days I called her from when I had the wheelchair... while MJ trying to make me keep the wheelchair told her I have a hard time getting it in and out she tries to say we'll do you need a ramp... I told her I want to return it she said I couldn't I told her I spoke to my insurance representative, and they said we can then she said I will have a tech call you back. So she does. She has the biggest Condescending asshole call me back Mr. Davis and talk to me like I'm a idiot and I don't know any better. He is was arguing with me the whole time repeating and turning around our conversation the whole time. You said you were happy with it at first and now you are returning it? Rite?!? Am I rite?!! He also tried telling me I don't know what I'm talking about that this is the rite chair for my son?!? Really he my son I know what his needs are. He doesn't need a rodeo wheel chair that is meant for a child to be in for most of the day. I told him I cantI told him the doctor said he needs different one!! He told me stop telling me what the doctor said the doctor the doctor doesn't know anything, he also told me to stop calling the wheelchair a wheelchair it's called a stroller or push chair... I know what the hell its called. At the end of a day it is a wheelchair. He literally told me 3 times to stop Calling it that. While along on the the phone he had another lady in the background listening to our phone call. It's ok because my husband was home also hearing what you had to say I wish I would of recorded! I could of shut this company down so that no other person has to deal with what I went though today!! Now I'm having the insurance company deal with them. I no longer want anything to do with this company more speak to someone from it! Can't believe a company would talk to someone the way they have talking down to a human being the way they have.
