My Dad lives in Warner NH and this is our favorite pizza place to go in the area when we don't feel like cooking. The salads are awesome! It's the perfect place to stop for a lunch on a long bike ride. I had the grilled Chicken Garden Salad yesterday with just olive oil for dressing and it was fresh and crisp. A lot of pizza places don't have great salads or fresh veggies, but this place is great. The service is always great too, really friendly! read more

A pleasant surprise find on my way from Boston to Vermont. All the people were super nice and polite. The pizza was delicious and reasonably priced! We only waited around 10 minutes and it came out steaming hot. The pepperoni was flavorful and the dough was light. One pizza was enough for four people (who weren't too hungry but still needed dinner). Great place! read more

The food here is a standard of EXCELLENCE for the type of restaurant that it is. My husband and I get takeout from Dimitri's AT LEAST once per week. We've had their dinners (FANTASTIC!), pizza (VERY GOOD), grinders (are AWESOME!), calzones (ARE PHENOMENAL ... TO DIE FOR!!!), and they've got ice cream, too! We only get takeout from Dimitri's so I've never met any of the staff or Dimitri, but because my husband picks up our order, he's met them and he says that they're all very friendly, pleasant and are very nice people. Since I do the ordering for us, I speak with them on the phone and I agree with my husband. In fact, I speak with them often enough that they recognize my voice when I call! Although there isn't much to do here, in town, it's well worth it to go a few minutes out of the way just to eat at Dimitri's! The food is EXCELLENT, the prices are very reasonable, and the owner and staff are quite friendly. Just remember: If you want a real treat, get a calzone! Not only is it far beyond fantastic when you first get it, but if you can't eat it all in that first sitting, it reheats extremely well in the oven! (Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat on foil-lined pan for 15 - 20 minutes.) Contoocook may not have much in town, but Dimitri's makes up for it! In a word: YUM! read more

Honestly, the only reason that Dimitri's is the "Best pizza in town" is because it's the only pizza in town. It is mediocre and is in fact better the next day than it is right out of the oven. The crust is hard, the cheese is greasy, and my favorite thing to do when I get my pizza is dab the top of it off. The drinks are also so expensive that I find it easier to go buy drinks at colonial. The ice cream is good, but it's hard to mess up something that you don't even make. Dimitri should change his strategy to making pizza and subs because it feels unhealthy to eat and unlike any experience like any other restaurant. It's a good place to grab a quick bit for 3 people, if they only have a combined 12 dollars, but unless that's s the situation, any other place is better. Lastly, the pictures on the help page are not theirs. Google "pizza" and "sub sandwich" and it's within the first 10 pictures. read more

They claim to be the "best pizza in town", not a hard accomplishment when you are the only pizza in town... They should change there name to Convenience Pizza, on that fact that ordering food from this location is strictly a convenience of driving down the road... Then driving to Concord.... Food here is mediocre, instant fry-ables... Portions are weak ( more croutons than anything in a chicken Caesar wrap, large " family" pizza is equal to a medium $6.99 pizza at dominoes in size), and the most important factor... Their food quality to price is nowhere where it needs to be in my opinion I would highly recommend spending the extra 20 minutes on the drive to Concord just get, you know the constantly pizza or the Vinnies pizza or Hell any other pizza restaurant in place, or even try over on the other side of town at the cracker barrel because this place should be highly avoided due to their cost factor in quality, you don't feel full and happy after eating at Dimitris. They should also be known as "Da-Cheep-Tris" for their lack in quality to save a dime.. read more
