The food is always good when we come to this restaurant. The customer service was very friendly and our waitress went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The ambience is always very clean and always one of my go to choices for a Friday evening dinner. All of the food in this establishment is always flavorful, and we are never let down.

PLEASE HELP! We need to talk about Riverview. I've been here several times over the years. It's a fun place, great location, right at the end of the Main Street. There is absolutely no parking anymore. It's terrible. Someone needs to figure that out. The new homes consume all the spots that are nearby and the other establishments are left lacking parking, especially on a Friday night. The place was nearly empty downstairs and a party upstairs. How can they expect to keep these places in business-including other restaurants. I think there's a downward spiral that's affecting the food. Busy places make better food! I wanted to give Riverview a better score, but the dinners tasted meh. 1 waitress served the entire area dining area, which made her frazzled and hard to get a hold of because of how busy she was. She was awesome tho! Please help and figure this out! I want to come back, but several things need to change.

I've been to this restaurant a few times. All the prior experiences up until tonight, were decent. Unfortunately, this time, the food was mediocre at best. On Tuesday, they have a weekly special that consists of 1 entree and 1 drink or dessert for $20. My husband got the mashed potatoes and braised beef shank, I had the honey walnut shrimp, and my son had chicken tenders and french fries (off the kids menu). My husband's dish was awful. The potatoes were cold and hard. The beef shank was fatty and you could tell this was premade and microwaved, clearly not well. The honey walnut shrimp did not look anything like the picture they advertised and it was edible, but not good. I was thankful it was at least hot, but not your typical honey walnut ingredients. Lastly, my son's meal was probably the best out of the 3. It was smoking hot and you could tell it was not microwaved. The service was a bit off. They filled all the water glasses except my son's glass. We had to ask for water for him as if he was invisible. My husband ordered dessert instead of a drink and the waitress gave us the check before even bringing out my husband's dessert. We never complained about the food, but I definitely thought that was odd and maybe a hint to hurry up. The restaurant is near the river in Burlington. In the spring and fall, sitting outside is nice. It's a short walk to the river with nice views. It does get loud when it's full inside, but if the service and food is good, then I'm willing to overlook that.

Although I feel the food can be hit or miss at times the restaurant itself has a great vibe even if you stop in just for drinks. The bartenders, manager, and staff are always friendly & whether you sit inside or outside it's a great atmosphere. I tried there wine Wednesday's & I highly recommend it because they have some great selections at 20% off your glass. Also, they don't advertise it well but they have a great happy hour (even on Saturday). Some of my favorites from here include the Brussel sprouts, truffle fries, beet & burrata salad, & there charcuterie board is excellent. I only wish their food was a little bit more consistent & a little less pricey. It's unfortunate the new apartments that were built block the actual view of the river but I'd still recommend trying this place out at least for happy hour

Great location on High Street unfortunately their previously unobstructed view of the Delaware River has mostly been blocked by condos built ~6 years ago. However they have a nice bar setup and outdoor seating area. We have only visited a handful of times to enjoy their very popular Tuesday night special. The meals were always very enjoyable. I suggest that you give them a try.

    My outstanding Martini

Asked for recommendations on a Facebook page for a good place for birthday dinner. Come to find out the chef, Oscar, recommended this restaurant. What a great recommendation. My husband had the tomahawk pork chops which were moist and delicious. I had the ribeye steak that was so tender. I enjoyed every bite. We also had some oysters on the half shell. We had a fabulous server, Toni, and she was outstanding, but the best thing of all was the martini that Toni made for me. I'm very particular. And this is one of the best martinis I've ever had out at a restaurant. We can't wait to come back.

So I read the reviews. So yes, it got noisy. Yes, the service was excellent but a little slow. The atmosphere and food was great. The entree items we wanted were not available that evening, so we tried some standard fare on their menu. NY strip steak, Mac & cheese, pork pizza... all great. Our sever Macy, A +! It would be nice when they present the menu they would say "we don't have the following tonight" so you are not on the spot scrambling to find another entree. Would we recommend? Yes. Would we come back? Yes.

"Get My Perks" app deal !

Beautiful, big & airy restaurant on the water, that I found via 'Get My Perks' app. $50 worth of food for $25! There was a loud, irritating party going on in the same room that we were seated in. My "no poker face" annoyance & ask to move elsewhere got me a complimentary coffee. The baby stopped LOUDLY crying, so we stayed put. My seafood risotto was very good ! - a perfect sized portion too. I could've done w out the calamari. Alex & Vince got the fried chicken sandwiches, which they both liked. Vince also got the Mac & cheese - Yummy & I liked hat they used orachetti pasta. One of my top pasta picks for Mac & cheese. (you can get it w lobster too for an added charge). Maybe next time! . Aidan got a bacon cheeseburger that he loved. Both kids were lukewarm on the fries. Lastly, our waitress was super nice, apologetic for the noise level, etc, plus accommodating & just a cutie. I'd love to come back esp with the perk!

Even the fruit tasted old and mushy, like it had been sitting out for days. I ended up with a stomach ache afterward -- and that should've been the first red flag. But it gets worse. I put my leftovers in the fridge and ONE DAY LATER they were covered in mold. MOLD. That's not just bad, that's dangerous and unacceptable for a place serving food to the public. The bathroom was tiny and uncomfortable, barely enough room to move, and for how expensive everything is, the quality is insulting. For the amount they charge, this is borderline criminal. It was a tough decision to make but I got the southern sampler which came with the MOST DELICIOUS grits I have ever had in my life. The sampler consisted of two large pieces of perfect french toast, a crispy chicken cutlet with spicy syrup and a generous serving of grits topped with tons of bacon and scallions. The portion was big enough to share, but trust me, you won't want to. My hubby got an omlette with chorizo that was really tasty and my son was obsessed with their french toast. The prices of breakfast were also comparable to a Cracker Barrel, but the service and taste was amazing. Definitely get there.

I am not sure if Management has changed but whatever it was / is needs to be addressed immediately for the sake of not losing customers. Asking to be seated at a different table other than the one we were initially seated at (bc it was right by the door and the wind coming in was freezing) was the first red flag because the hostess seemed bewildered and bothered that we wanted a new table despite there being 50-11 other open tables throughout the joint. It literally then took 15 minutes before our server greeted us and it just kept rolling downhill at a faster and faster rate by the minute. Appetizers done before our cocktails arrived, cocktails done before we could order our entrees, entrees arrived missing key components and it took a good 10 minutes before we could get our server and the minute she walks over she says oh you need the ABC ... ma'am! If you KNEW what we needed why didn't you immediately address it without us having to flag you down???!!!??? And the reason it took 10 minutes to flag her down was because the rest of the floor staff was running around like chickens with their heads cut off ignoring diners trying to get their attention. Oh and the best part was that there was this "figure of management" present ... and I say "figure of management" because he was also ignoring diners and not checking in with them like a restaurant manager typically does ... he was only going to the empty tables cleaning them, slowly adding place settings, rearranging the empty tables ... trying to look busy!!!!! It was honestly comical at one point. We asked for boxes for our food because we still never received all of what was missing despite our server acknowledging it was missing and stating she would bring it back. We literally never ever received it smh . My BF told her this was the worst service we've ever had and it probably didn't even phase her because her attitude overall was just sucky from the beginning. If this is all because of new management they need to go on and get new new management before this place's reputation is ruined.

The restaurant is in this cute little area with shops, restaurants and bars and is a popular destination because when we were leaving out after finishing our meal the place was jam packed and there was at least an hour wait (but no wait when we came in thankfully). It's important to note that this is NOT authentic Mexican food ... but it was pretty good nonetheless. The margarita flight was cute and gave us the ability to try a few flavors out before committing to a large one. The favorites were the white peach and pineapple margaritas (the other 2 in the flight were the traditional and prickly pear). We ordered the Crab Mexican Street Corn for an appetizer and while it was loaded with crab, it wasn't Mexican Street Corn ... it was seasoned corn with old bay and a few other ingredients topped with crab. I ordered the Steak & Shrimp Combo Fajitas which was a nice portion size (I took 3/4 home) and the flavors were pretty darn tasty, but when you order fajitas you expect the "sizzle" and these didn't have that nor were they have the right temperature ... they were just warm when I wanted and expected them to be hot. The refried beans were yummy despite them not looking too appetizing but the rice was too soft. Service was good overall and pricing was also reasonable. The inside was clean and the bar area I sat at although small was a decent spot to have a drink and grub. The staff was mostly young kids who were very nice. The chips and salsa they offer were boring. The salsas both roja and verde lacked flavor, mostly spice. The chips were fresh, but thick and bland. I think a thinner homemade style would work better. The first bartender I dealt with was great with the menu. She recommended several menu items. I ended up rolling with the Shrimp and Crab Enchiladas at $18 - jumbo lump crab, old bay cream cheese, tiger shrimp, cilantro and lime rice. The lime rice was worthless. It had zero flavor and was dry. The Enchiladas were creamy, but lacked spice and complexity. The tiger shrimp had a delicious grilled, moist flavor and were the best part. My second trip had a newer bartender who was getting her feet wet. She was friendly, but busy familiarizing herself with the bar so I went simple and ordered Birria Tacos - $15 Braised beef, onions, cilantro, lime Oaxaca cheese, consommé. The beef was dry and not tender. The shells were ok. The best part was the lime Oaxaca cheese and the consommé somewhat helped me get the beef down. The portion was very small. Not a good value in my humble opinion. The other patrons were mostly young and enjoying margaritas. I think booze is the draw to this spot. Without it your just getting average Mexican grub. Heck of a location in the Borough, but my visits left me longing for a hot pepper!
