I have been to this restaurant twice in 10 years. I avoided it for a long time because the service was so bad. Well I got talked into going back. It was the same issue as before. Came here with my grandpa for lunch while we were here on vacation, the worst service and unenjoyable. Took 15 minutes to get greeted, the server greeted and took orders of 2 tables that were sat at least 5 minutes after us. We got our food after they were done with there's and the server never checked on us, just took our order and dropped our food and check at the same time. Next time I visit this will not be somewhere I eat and don't recommend. read more

Never been inside the Riverside Resort in Laughlin. In desperate need of some renovations and making it a bit brighter. SO dark and smokey. Anyhow, we stopped here for breakfast. This review is on the cafe inside called the Riverview. Looked promising since it had a great view of the river, but quickly went down hill. Sat down and took 5 min for a drink order to come, and after about 15 more mins, with no one taking our order, we finally flagged down the mgr. Another 5 min later, the waitress finally came around. Mind you, the patron behind us left because of lack of service. She quickly took our order not apologizing the entire time. Looked around and many of the other tables were having the same service issues. Food came fairly quickly. Waitress said "Are you happy now?". Food nothing great. Toast came out black! Waitress even said, "oh that looks like crap!" Overall, not very professional and the service in general was unorganized. Not recommended. read more

Food was ok at best but the service was terrible. Waitress walked by our table 3 times before I asked another employee if we could place our order. After waiting 18 minutes just to order our waitress came over and her attitude and body language said "I hate my job". We ordered and 52 minutes later our food arrived. Went for breakfast this morning and the service was horrible, the dinning wear wasn't set and the server only came by once to refill my coffee and some of the order was never even brought out. I was with two friends and one ordered all the condiments for his burger on the side and they smoothed the burger in pickle and my other friend never got her toast. I don't know what has happened since I first moved out here but the service and food used to be so much better. I only have three stars because the dinning area was clean and the hostess was very Happ and sweet. read more

HORRIBLE PLACE!! Where do i begin! First of all they brought out our drinks in cups that were like for small children and not to mention it had lipstick on my husbands cup! So it was dirty and they didn't wash it! Second our waitress was SUPER RUDE and NEVER offered a refill she also forgot to put in an order from 2 people in our party so we all got food and they didn't til late! When their food finally came out it was undercooked and HAD A HAIR ON IT!!! Wow. The manager didn't apologize just took the order off the bill of the breakfast that had hair in it! I think if a negative star for food quality was available I'd use it. Worst Fried Chicken I've ever attempted to eat. The food was being carted in I assume from one of the other restaurants in the building. Slow slow service and the wait staff was infuriated with the quality of the food also. While visiting Laughlin last week this was our first meal out day one. The food was decent, nothing to get horribly excited about but it was decent. Service was poor, to say the least. If I could give this restaurant no stars, I would. We checked in at noon to get a reservation due to Covid, waited 15 minutes, got a booth but it was very uncomfortable so the waiter moved us to a table, whispered something to the manager (rude!). We sat for about 25 minutes before we asked the cleaning lady if someone could take our order. Finally someone came out of the kitchen and took our order. We chose the gamblers special for 10.99 each for a four-piece fried chicken dinner with choice of salad or split pea soup, veggies and potato, and a chicken fried steak dinner with the same. The salad was okay, I had no tomatoes in mine, hubby had three so he shared. Kens packaged dressing, iceberg lettuce (looked like bagged lettuce mix). The fried chicken came out a breast, thigh and two legs. The pieces looked like they came from a Cornish hen straight out of a Banquet TV dinner box that has been reheated several times. Gross greasy thick breading. Yuck! The chicken fried steak was very small and had the consistency of dog food. The vegetables with our dinners were inedible. I took one bite of what appeared to be a piece of squash but it was so hard I could not chew it. What a HUGE waste of money! The service was horrible! Avoid this place like the plague! UPDATE: It's 3:00 A.M. and my husband is very sick. He threw up and the chicken he had for lunch had lots of mucous around it, as if his body couldn't break it down (sorry to be so graphic). Honestly every time we visit the staff is very friendly, the views are amazing, and the food is good. The Riverview restaraunt is open 24 hours and a great place to grab a midnight breafast after a night of gaming and fun. We enjoy lunch there also. Usually a nice cheeseburger. Even when its very busy the staff hustles to get your food. read more

Disgusting.. took them 45 mins for cold food and to top it off there was a bug! Bad service, waitress and manager have an attitude problem.

First of all the dinner salad that my cousin ordered was half a salad with no croutons and no cucumbers second of all the bacon I got added to my burger was pure white fat and third of all our server told us we could split our bill at the front which was for a large party and when we got to the front they told us they couldn't do that anymore so we spent 10 minutes trying to split our own bill!!! We had an outstanding breakfast there last Thursday. I had an omelette, and we also had the 2 eggs special. Both were very good. Additionally, we had a Mimosa that was good. Prices are inexpensive, ad service was excellent. Considering all that plus the best view of the river in all of Laughlin, we will return. read more

Do NOT come here. Our experience here was horrible. First, the 4 of us wait 15 minutes to get our drinks served to us by a grouchy old woman. Her attitude made us feel as if we were an inconvenience to her. We order 4 meals. One in particular was an order of eggs and another was a steak. I requested that the steak be made medium well and blatantly stated that I wanted some pink in the center. I also order a starter salad only to get my salad with wilted looking cucumbers. The waitress with the long face thankfully refilled our drinks but allowed all of our dishes to pile up and cover the entire table. What feels like an hour passes by and we finally get our meals. Except the eggs. The steak was Luke warm and the vegetables were cold and the steak did not have a touch of pink. The waitress asks what else we ordered and we had to tell her about our order of eggs. 5 minutes later she comes back with the eggs. At this point, we are starving and upset and our table is so cluttered that in attempts to drink my water it spills because it brushes against all of the other cups and plates. We request the manager and tell her that it took us an hour to get our food. Rather than taking our word for it and providing great customer service, she states that she'll review cameras and talk to the chef to see if it took an hour. Let's forget about that old saying, "the customer is always right". She comes out and says it took 41 minutes, not an hour. As if that's any better. And that I should expect it to take that long on a busy weekend. Perhaps you should be prepared and be fully staffed on busy nights. Then I ask her why the eggs were forgotten and brought out after all of the meals and advised her to pull the camera out to see that in case she needed proof again. Then the waitress begins to question me with her eyes squinted as if i was a liar and asked, "I thought your steak was fine. What was wrong with it"? (We were not even mentioning her horrible service at all and she was defensive) and I told her it was Luke warm and well done since she wanted details. Never going again. read more

Excellent location for a late night (or early morning) spot to eat. One of the cleanest and by far the friendliest restaurants on the Laughlin strip. The food was amazing and the portions were excellent for the price. You won't be disappointed. Definitely recommend this place for your after gambling dining. read more

We had to ask for a side of ranch and a refill of orange juice TWICE finally when we were pretty much done eating they brought the ranch but we never got more orange juice. The philly sandwich was bland and the steak sandwich was burnt, even though I had asked for it medium rare. Really bad experience overall. My third time here on my stay here the first was a Togo and was fine, the second time I sat down for breakfast by myself and didn't get service other then a guy who got other tables drinks got me a drink after noticing I haven't even helped after that I sat around for 10 mins with still no service but all the other tables around me have been helped, I felt it was because I was a younger male rather then the normal crowd of seniors and I felt very discriminated against based on my age, so I get up and ask to speak to the manager who tells me oh that's not the reason and it practically made her cringe to say sorry. Now I try and give them a second chance the next morning and go for breakfast and sit down and wait for a little bit nothing to crazy but an older couple sits down atleast 4 minutes after me and gets service before I do. Finally after that a server comes up to me asking if I've been helped. Again this just goes to prove atleast in my mind that it has to do with my age. The food is good and my server this trip has atleast been nice so that's why they get a second star but I'm very disappointed. read more

Went to this restaurant for dinner. Since we are visiting our son and his family, he wanted to go there so we could get the giant burger. My husband is visibly disabled and the long line was very difficult for him. He was not offered a place to sit while we waited. the hostess suggested we split into two tables (there was 7 of us). we said no, we wanted to sit together. she explained they would need to put two tables together which was just fine. BUT, she said the ones open to do that was served by two different servers and one would complain of being shorted tip money. WHAT?? that was more important then customers standing in line forever??? they finally did that. we ordered the big burger. a few minutes later the server told us they were out of them. ok, so we made a new order. The drinks server was the most inattentive we've ever had. my daughter in law went to the hostess to tell her of our complaints and no attentiveness. the manager, instead of saying we're sorry, she said well, we're in a shift change. read more

One of the worst meals I've ever had. A Mother's Day special--filet mignon and shrimp scampi. Both had the texture of a low-end hot dog with a comparable amount of MSG. I was amazed that a filet and a shrimp could be manufactured. On the other hand, the previous night, the Reuben was wonderful, with real meat in a proportion big enough for two meals. I suspect the Mother's Day special was ordered en masse, ready made, just heat and serve! Mothers deserve much better. read more

Had I eaten here alone my rating would have been one star. My wife said her steak was great so I'm averaging. I ordered the grilled salmon. I had to use a knife to cut it. my wife and I had the steak dinner for two special. the salad was fresh, dressing came on the side and there was more than enough of it. dinner portions were larger than expected, including the steak, and everything was hot. both of our steaks were cooked PERFECTLY. All caps because it seems a lot of people don't know what medium rare is, but whoever did out steaks hit the nail on the head. even got a scoop of ice cream for desert. our server spent just the right amount of time at our table- kept the mood light but was very professional. I liked the menu and the prices seem VERY reasonable. we WILL come back! read more
