If it wasn't for the great view of the river I would have given no stars. The service was deplorable, my meatloaf came with a salad that never arrived ( I would have asked my server but he was as non existent as salad). My wife's chicken sandwich was (as she put it) dryer than dry and just as tasty. My meatloaf was just above body temperature. The only hot thing on my plate was the mashed potatoes and gravy which were also the best tasting thing on the plate. My husband and I came here 3 times on our mini vacation to Laughlin for his bowling tournament. Twice for breakfast and once for dinner. All 3 times the food was good. Both times at breakfast the service was wonderful. The waitress was friendly, attentive, and got everything right. The dinner service was not bad. It just wasn't great. The waitress came to our table once to refill our drinks but wasn't friendly. We got to sit next to a window twice and it was such a nice view. I really enjoyed that. If we go back to Don Laughlin's next year I'm sure we will eat here multiple times again. read more

Not sure why people eat here, this is my second time coming here and I regret it. The staff here isn't that cordial, and despite the nice view, there is zero reason to come here when there are several other restaurants located near the river. In addition to bad customer service, the food is gross. We ordered appetizers and they were bad tasting. After having appetizers, we decided not to get dinner here. This place has potential to do well due to its location, however this place needs to retrain staff and replace the cook. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Service was good but the food is terrible. Got the salmon with salad, vegetable and baked potato. The salad was wilted iceberg with inedible pieces turning dark. The salmon was extremely fishy, dry, and overcooked. "The vegetable" ended up being the worst and hardest canned corn I ever had, I was honestly expecting an actual vegetable with the meal. The baked potato was alright but bland as well as it only comes with butter and sour cream. My wife only ate the baked potato. When we paid for the food, the cashier didn't even ask how the meal was, just took the money and we walked out. I still left a 20% tip because the waiter did a good job. We were a party of 4. Seated quickly, nice table with a partial view of the river. Things went downhill from there. Three of us had baked potatoes, partially cooked, not by choice. Two of us had Prime Rib, cooked med rare. There was grizzle in almost every bite. When there wasn't grizzle, it had fat. One of us had the Grilled Chicken Alfredo. I've been here a few times.. nothing to get excited about.. tasted like an old school cafe like K&W or something.. my husband had the philly cheesesteak, the meat didn't taste fresh, it was tough, and the cheese wasn't even melted! I had this asian chicken salad and it might be one of the worst things I have ever tried. The dressing was just horrid, the chicken was tough, nothing tasted right at all. My party of 8 walked in not only to be separated but to have half of our group served and the other half starving for a 30-45 min wait. My wife and I went to try this place on a Sunday so we didn't expect fast service, but we sat at our table long enough to where I was ready to leave. A bus person by the name of Madeline saw us sitting there, stopped what she was doing and kindly took our drink order. Nothing against the other servers but If it wasn't for her we would have left. Kudos to her for keeping us as future customers. We went back again today for a late lunch and had David as our server, good man. We enjoyed the service as much as the good food both times and will definitely return in the future as well as spread the word to others. Beautiful river view too. For example, a cold Bay Shrimp Cocktail with larger than usual plump shrimps, celery, and spicy Cocktail Sauce came out quickly and first, as desired. An included Garden Salad with two large fresh tomato slices, lettuce, cucumbers, croutons, and zesty French Dressing was filling and satisfying. And, once again I enjoyed a Choice Chopped Sirloin cooked more medium than medium rare as ordered, with Mushroom Gravy and Mashed Potatoes, served this time with nicely cooked peas. I tried Diane's French Dip with well-melted Provolone on a French Roll accompanied by fine au jus, and it was a superior rendition overflowing with lean strands of roast beef. I will probably order this on my next visit. Finishing on a partly artificial sweet note, a slice of Sugar-Free Peach Pie a la mode, featuring a hard crust, was good but cold. Diane's comment that I probably should have asked for it to be served warm was an astute but too late observation. I would give negative stars if I could. Let's start with it took about 15 minutes for us to be serviced by a waiter. Waiter was nice but not super attentive. A white guy that wasn't sitting even 5 minutes was helped prior to my party. Yes we are African American. The appetizer we ordered was the sampler. The chicken wings was fried hard but when you bit into it, blood came out. I brought it to the managers attention. He said let me show my chef. The manager never apologized for the food being undercooked. He came back to the table and said I'll remove the appetizer you will owe 4.00 for the soda. My friend and I were really looking forward to prime rib but had to pick a restaurant where the kids would also eat something. Our sodas and tea were gross. We had to send them back. Did not see an alcohol offering anywhere so we didn't think they served it but according to reviews they do. We ordered prime rib and mozzarella sticks, both of which they didn't have. I asked about the chili instead and thankfully our server was honest and said don't do it. The salads were good, fresh, which is really what they got the other star for. The cinnamon roll was amazing but pretty sure they got it from Cinnabon in the casino. Fried chicken was decent. NY Steak was decent. Everything else was regrettable. This place was just disappointing. We went to the prime rib room and we were told they were full for the night and to go here because they make all of the prime rib for the hotel. So we get there and they are letting people in group by group so we waited. Finally get seated and I decided to get the prime rib with veggies and added two eggs over easy to go with it. I get my plate and first thing I notice is how pink looking my "prime rib" is. Now look I've eaten plenty prime rib so i know my prime rib!! I take a bite and idk I'm confused because it tastes like ham... looks like ham but they insisted it was prime rib. Idk I'm really not sold... my fiance had a steak and his was clearly steak. My husband and I were down to the restaurant by 7:30. We were the only ones "in line" and it took 5 minutes to be seated by the heavy set man with no personality. Upon being brought to our booth he just said "Drink?" We ordered coffee and water. We received the coffee but even after asking our waiter, we never received the water. I ordered the Denver omelet with hash browns. I have never had such a bland omelet. There were cannned mushrooms that I had in my last few bites and the only cheese offered was American. The hash browns were toasty on the outside but barely warm and very mushy on the inside. We were offered a coffee refill once and it wasn't that great. The food is brought out on a plastic Rubbermaid looking cart with service covers over them. It is very tacky! I understand being easier on the staff but at least have it look good. read more

I usually don't rate restaurants just on 2 am performance but this was actually pretty good at 2 am. Just before Covid anyway, I dunno how much the mileage varies now. The food was "meh" all around but again my standards are lowered in the wee hours. By those standards and the pricing it was OK. $8-10 for entrees and $2-3 for drinks. The $6.50 night owl breakfasts are only available Sun-Th, the only one that's always available is biscuits and gravy with eggs (also 6.50). Service was great tho, especially for late hours. Employees move about unhurried. Waited to be acknowledged and seated. Food dropped off, empty beverage glasses were not noticed. No one returned ever to our table again. Ate a full hot meal with no water or beverage. Table sat with dirty dishes and we had to ask for our check. Employees chatted with guests and each other. We had to go to the cashier to get our check. Some food was okay, but it's overpriced. Beverage glasses are the tiniest I've ever seen that wasn't designed for a toddler. You get charged $2.50 fir an eye dropper of soda. Theoretically there are free refills, but no one comes by your table ever, so... Our meal took an hour. 10 minutes of it was spent actually eating. read more

Waitress was giving us attitude because we had a wedding party of 16 and she didn't ask ahead of time when placing our food orders if it was all on 1 bill or separate. When we asked for our bills she was making faces, rolling her eyes and telling us to just go to the register and tell the girl up front what we had and pay because it's too confusing. We went to the front where "Kimberly C" was attempting to check us out with extreme attitude slapping the receipts around, extremely unprofessional.
