Moved into the main area and honestly, with all the big rigs that pulled in, it can get very cramped for "privacy". Add to that some dogs and it can get very interesting. As usual at an RV site, some people have ZERO clue about site etiquette. Several folks walking their dogs around my site. My dogs did not appreciate that. But that's the only complaint I had - a bit cramped when all sites around you are full, and people are the same no matter where we camp. The people running this site are the best!! Tom helps you park and it makes it SO easy to back into the spot. First try, boom, all set!! The beach is only a few blocks away, totally walkable. That said, they also provide a ride to and from the beach on the golf cart. Very helpful when you're lugging all your beach stuff. Expensive to stay, but it was a great vacation. I'd stay here again.

The office is easy to get to and has very convenient hours. The bathhouse was very clean and had large showers. The laundry room had 5 sets of washers and dryers that are coin operated and easy to use. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk but the staff also offers free rides to and from via golf cart that we utilized several times. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The resort management was very nice to deal with, and the laundry facilities were adequate. We did have one issue during our stay when an electrical problem affected our site and the sites on either side of us. Because of a problem at the main electrical panel, we had to reduce our electric draw for part of the stay and use only one AC in our fifth wheel. The issue was resolved the next morning, and management credited us one night's stay, which we appreciated. We are not big beach people, but if we needed to be in the area again, we would stay here without hesitation.

Not as convenient as having a house right on 30A/ across from the beach but for the price you can't complain. Kids love it because there's a pool and plenty of room to walk around / ride a scooter, bike ect.. I can't stress enough how valuable it is to purchase an annual SP pass, Florida has so many beautiful parks if you are traveling across the state this annual pass will more than pay for itself. Visiting this park during the off season was especially rewarding, no crowds so we practically had the entire beach to ourselves, the white sugar sand and clear warm water was the perfect place to be on a warm fall day. Although shelling was a disappointment the abundance of wildlife and native plants more than made up for it. This is definitely a state park I'd return too, maybe spend a few days here in the RV when in the area...

I am Always looking for RV sites in the Florida Panhandle. The area offers more fun per square inch…read morethan most tourist spots in the USA. The Campground offers two nice pools, playground, store with -ice, snacks, lending library, lending games & puzzles, camping & food items plus a location that is right in the center of all the main attractions in Panama City Beach. But the proximity to the beach is the main plus. You can walk, bike, to the end of the property and there is a public access to the Gulf of Mexico. Wonderful access with parking and 3 ways to get onto the beach and even a pier. The camping spots are average but well kept up. Some of the park buildings are a tad outdated BUT are Very clean. We are in an amazing site #92. Our site is Very big, long, but some sites are narrow and short. They do a good job of putting bigger rigs in bigger sites. There is a water park next door for the kids. The price is very reasonable for the beach and about average for camp sites in general.

This is only our 5th camping trip in our travel trailer, but we have stayed at a few other RV parks when we camped with my in-laws. Formerly called Emerald Coast RV Resort, Sun Outdoors Panama City Beach had great online reviews, which were supported by numerous pictures. Our "style" of camping may be a little different than most. We are not ones to just sit under our awning and relax. We like to be on the go and see everything a city has to offer when we camp. Therefore, we use our travel trailer as a relocatable hotel room that serves as our base of operations as we explore the surrounding areas. However, even though we may not use them, we prefer RV resorts with lots of amenities. Sun Outdoors Panama City Beach is a beautiful resort, and he front office staff were all delightful. It is meticulously landscaped, and they pick up the trash twice daily (10:30 AM & 6:30 PM). There are 2 heated pools with adjacent shower facilities, multiple key coded laundry rooms, a fitness center, a clubhouse, a sand volleyball court, shuffleboard "courts", pickleball courts and a covered basketball "pavilion". The sites are decently spaced and easy to access. The resort is in close proximity to highway 98 and Front Beach Road. You are near the beach, Zoo World (no smells or loud animal noises), Wonder Works, Ripley's Believe It or Not, Pier Park, and a plethora of other activities and restaurants. The only negative I experienced is that while at the back pool, there were numerous kids under 14 years old at the pool and they were unattended by any adults. They were rough housing in the pool so much that we decided to walk to the other pool. I should have advised the staff but opted not too and chalked it up to being an isolated incident. I can definitely recommend this resort with a good heart and would definitely go back.

It is always going to be 5 star review for the Resort but this time if this review was for the Ranger I would give a ONE star because he has decided to not buy dog poop bags and some people just don't clean up after their dogs if you don't provide the basics because they are not prepared and I don't blame them because you expect to find bags like in ANY other Florida State Park to find poop bags all over. Now instead there is dog sh!t in some places that the Ranger should go and pick it up himself just because he is trying to save money to finish construction of his new office and moving resources from one budget item to another is not the solution, please poop bags are a must Mr Ranger, adhere to your budget and buy some bags so whoever is unprepared can clean up after their dog.

The wedding was moved to Port St. Joe so we were trying to find an RV place to stay. Although this RV Park was still trying to reconstruct after the devastation of hurricane Michael, they were going to let us rent a space so we would have a place to stay. You just can't beat kindness and caring, especially during these extremely difficult times, & the people at this park have it. We will make a point to stay here next time we're in their area.
