My mom asked her for a receipt and said she didn't see the charge I made the night before when I charged a toothbrush to the room. The woman acted like I didn't pay for it and made it sound like I straight up stole! She went on and on saying you had to pay right there and I described the man who worked the night before and she just stared at me blankly. I even mentioned charging the room and she was incredibly rude. She even said "well, i didn't look at the receipt", ok? So why are you saying I didn't pay for the toothbrush? The receipt even had the room charge on it! She was being adversarial and rude for no reason.

There was a charger not working and the screen was down, but as has been found on this road trip, this is not unusual. This, as many chargers, are in a Walmart parking lot, so there is access to amenities. There is also a short walk to Carls Jr and/or Pizza Hut depending on what you'd like. Overall this one was fine as it was quite empty, but still was not running at 100% chargers operational.

Lots of businesses close by. The Tesla charger lot was clean and I felt pretty safe. Saw a few homeless people hanging out in front of the Bashas store.

The place is nice and cool in the summer (the central a/c was heavenly) and they have a roaring fire in the gas fireplace in the winter. They also have a bank of computers for internet surfing and an adorable kids library. This is easily my favorite place in Show Low!

Opened in 1930, La Posada Hotel was the "crown jewel" of the Santa Fe Railway and the renowned Fred Harvey Company. Walking around the Hotel are beautiful native pictures/gallery by their local owner Artist.. We settled in for late Lunch at their "Turquoise Room" restaurant. Its large dining area is inviting and comfortable. The Lass drank a glass of "Lemon Drop Martini".. The Lad, drank a glass of "Espresso Martini" Both drinks tried hard to satisfy us..:) We shared, "Clear Creek Calamari" fried and served with chipotle aioli.. and.. "66 Roastbeef" 1/2 LB of certified ground Angus chuck, fire grilled and served on a brioche bun with red onions, lettuce, tomato, and a side of chipotle aioli dip.. with...yes fresh cut fries. I paired it with the galaxy whisky cocktail which was superb! Breakfast was okay. The coffee tasted extremely burnt and the eggs for the omelette were rubbery. If you struggle with carrying your luggage up two long flights of stairs, request ground floor.. There is no elevator.. Just FYI.. We were put in the smallest room they have.. Didn't know that until we were told that checking out.. They weren't even fully booked.. The room was small.. The Clark Gable Room.. Who ever stuck us in that room wasn't very nice, just saying.. The bed was hard and difficult to sleep on and the pillows didn't make it much easier either..Also there is only one outlet to charge phones on. There is only a charger/outlet on the table next to sink area. The air conditioner had one speed and didn't cool very well.. It was only 98 degrees outside.. I will tell you the shower room was seperate from the sink which was nice.. The shower was spacious and comfortable to shower in.. The lavender soap is nice too.. The towels were super thick and nice.. Had we been in a bigger or more comfortable room i probably would have given more stars.. To be honest.. Probably won't stop here again..

There are around 10 stalls here and most of them were occupied when we went there. Possibly that's the reason for the slow charging speed we got. There are no cafes on-site and you do need to cross the main road to find something in the gas stations that had a very small food court too. No hot foods were nearby during our 15 minutes of walk hunt.
