I smiled and said hi to her and she looks at me with an angry expression and says "oh.... hi". My mom asked her for a receipt and said she didn't see the charge I made the night before when I charged a toothbrush to the room. The woman acted like I didn't pay for it and made it sound like I straight up stole! She went on and on saying you had to pay right there and I described the man who worked the night before and she just stared at me blankly. I even mentioned charging the room and she was incredibly rude. She even said "well, i didn't look at the receipt", ok? So why are you saying I didn't pay for the toothbrush? The receipt even had the room charge on it! She was being adversarial and rude for no reason.

There was a charger not working and the screen was down, but as has been found on this road trip, this is not unusual. This, as many chargers, are in a Walmart parking lot, so there is access to amenities. There is also a short walk to Carls Jr and/or Pizza Hut depending on what you'd like. Overall this one was fine as it was quite empty, but still was not running at 100% chargers operational.

When we got our 1st Tesla 10 years ago we could "fill up" from 40% to 80% for $3-$5 dollars. It was now $10. Not sure the KWH charge. It was pretty fast. We walked to the Bashas and Dollartree. Lots of businesses close by. The Tesla charger lot was clean and I felt pretty safe. Saw a few homeless people hanging out in front of the Bashas store.

The place is nice and cool in the summer (the central a/c was heavenly) and they have a roaring fire in the gas fireplace in the winter. They also have a bank of computers for internet surfing and an adorable kids library. This is easily my favorite place in Show Low!

However, what was most disappointing was the lack of concern afterward. The waitress never apologized. Instead, she simply said, "Oh my gosh, that has never happened before." She did not offer napkins or any assistance, and throughout the remainder of our meal, she never came back to check on us or ask if I was okay. Even more surprising, no manager came to our table after the incident. It wasn't until I requested to speak with a manager that one was informed about what had happened. Unfortunately, my interaction with the manager was just as disappointing. She seemed dismissive and somewhat combative. She stated, "Usually we would comp a dessert, but since you're not getting one, what would you like me to do?" I was taken aback by the response. I asked what options were available, and she repeated that they normally only compensate with dessert because we had already eaten our meals. After being asked again what I wanted her to do, I requested that my meal be comped. The manager took the receipt, walked away without another word, and eventually returned the check to the table without offering any apology or explanation. We chose La Posada to celebrate a special occasion because of its reputation, but the lack of customer service, empathy, and professionalism turned what should have been a memorable birthday dinner into a very disappointing experience. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future guests receive the level of service that this historic hotel is known

Didn't know that until we were told that checking out.. They weren't even fully booked.. The room was small.. The Clark Gable Room.. Who ever stuck us in that room wasn't very nice, just saying.. The bed was hard and difficult to sleep on and the pillows didn't make it much easier either..Also there is only one outlet to charge phones on. There is only a charger/outlet on the table next to sink area. The air conditioner had one speed and didn't cool very well.. It was only 98 degrees outside.. I will tell you the shower room was seperate from the sink which was nice.. The shower was spacious and comfortable to shower in.. The lavender soap is nice too.. The towels were super thick and nice.. Had we been in a bigger or more comfortable room i probably would have given more stars.. To be honest.. Probably won't stop here again..

There are no cafes on-site and you do need to cross the main road to find something in the gas stations that had a very small food court too. No hot foods were nearby during our 15 minutes of walk hunt.
