I just experienced the best customer service I've received in a very long time…read more The gentlemen in the service department of Winslow Ford saved me from a very long and stressful day. While traveling in my Ford Lightning on the I-40 en route to spend July 4th with my family in Eagar, I pulled up to charge at the Electrify America chargers in the Walmart parking lot...next to Winslow Ford. I quickly realized I had a tire that was severely damaged and was losing air pressure. I headed straight for the service department at Winslow Ford on the outside chance they would be able to help me replace the tire without an appointment. The size tires I have are rare and they didn't have them in stock but immediately asked if I needed help swapping the tire with my spare. I accepted their gracious offer and they got right to work while offering their comfortable customer lounge while I waited. I was traveling alone with my dog and they welcomed her into the lounge as well...which was especially nice since it was a 100 degree day. They swapped the tires and had it ready within 30 minutes and didn't even ask for payment. They may have taken pity on me given my dire circumstances, but I got the sense that was just how they conduct business. They never asked my name or requested that I submit a survey or review...they just provided the small town conscientious service that is increasingly rare and so amazing. I am extremely grateful to these compassionate and service-oriented professionals and would not hesitate to do business with Winslow Ford in any capacity in the future!

I limped into this dealership, and explained the symptoms to the service adviser. I was informed that their best, and most senior mechanic would be assigned to repair the vehicle. After several hours of troubleshooting, I was advised that I needed a set of spark plugs, a rotor, and possibly a coil to remedy the problem. I agreed to the repair and advised them that since the coil was suspected and old, they should replace that too. I paid this dealership $386.00 for spark plugs, a rotor, coil and labor, and went hapilly on my way. I hit it off with the guys at the dealership, and we talked alot about camping in the area. After approximately 260 miles (4 hours of driving) the problem returned. it was 11 pm, and I was forced to pull over and rent a room in Needles, Ca. Tate Auto Center was closed (understandibly, due to late hours.) The next day I called and spoke with the service advisor at this dealership, Sastamo, and advised him of the problem. He stated that he would relay the information to the Service Manager, Jack. I was then advised that there was "really nothing we can do, if you want to bring it back, we can look at it again." I was 260 miles away, and to tow it back to their dealership would have cost me approximately $600. I was stranded. I had to call a family member In Fontana to pick us up and had the car towed 80 miles to his house I would have settled for the following fair resoloutions: 1. a partial refund, pay for parts only, not labor, since they didnt fix the problem. 2. tow it back to their dealership, at their expense, for further troubleshooting. 3. have me take it to a dealership close to where I was stranded, and have Tate pay for the repair, if they suspected that I was just trying to scam them and get free repair. I am a proud Veteran, I dont make alot of money and am a hard working productive member of my community. I am an honest Yelper, and do many reviews. Tate Auto Center scammed me out of nearly $400. UPDATE-the problem turned out to be a seized distributer cap center electrode. Its the one a spring loaded center. the engine would heat up, the electrode would seize, and the rotor would loose electrical contact with the distributer cap, causing a misfire. The master mechanic should have caught this when he replaced the rotor, looking as to why the rotor was chewed up.

From the beginning, I made it clear I wanted no surprises, and he agreed. I specifically asked for photos and videos of a car I've been trying to find for about three years, but despite multiple requests, I didn't receive them. He told me that buying a plane ticket to come see the car would effectively reserve it. Based on that, I purchased a ticket. After that, I couldn't get a response from him. When I finally called the dealership directly, I was told the car had already been sold to someone else. That left me with a plane ticket and no car to look at. Just sharing my experience so others can make informed decisions.

Look no further than Choice Auto and Trucks. I had been searching for a 1965 Mercury like this one for some time and found it here. From the very first call, Jerriko was courteous, friendly, and professional -- he answered every question thoroughly and gave me all the details I needed without any runaround. No high-pressure sales tactics here . Mike was equally great to work with throughout the process. Just good guys that do what they say and pick up the phone and answer emails and texts even after hours. In the world of pre-owned cars, that kind of straight-dealing, no-pressure experience is rare. These guys are rare gems and you can buy with 100 percent confidence, even sight unseen. As you can see with all of the other 5 star reviews from honest, actual car buyers not window shoppers. I am out of state and bought the car based on the very thorough details, info, videos and pictures they sent me. I am very knowledgeable about this model, having owned one in the past, so I know what to look for. If you are looking at a vehicle at Choice, you can rest assured that they are top-notch, no games, no gimmicks, no stories. This was my first purchase from Choice and wont me my last. I bought the car strictly online, and this was one of the best car-buying experiences I have had. You can't go wrong buying from Choice(Arizona Muscle Cars)! I made the decision, and I pulled the trigger on the beautiful 1965 Mercury Parklane they had. I purchased it with a wire transfer at 3:02 PM AZ time on April 23rd -- I can provide proof of my purchase(I provided this bit of info to clear up any confusion for readers regarding that 1-star guy did not make ANY deposit, have ANY receipts, or provide ANY verifiable proof that he secured anything, other than his word (prior... to me buying the car.) In Car Sales, as in any business, a potential sale is not secured without a deposit. Expressing interest, no matter how sincere, does not constitute a hold, a commitment, or a purchase. That is true and has been true at every dealer in the US since the dawn of time. Your indecisiveness does not warrant nor is it equal to the review you left. Men who make decisions and commit get the cars they want; others leave 1-star reviews. Once MY car gets delivered, I will update with some delivery photos by me the owner. Update. Car received, looks great, runs even better. From what I have discovered, this car was bought and owned by the same family. Car was in storage, climate-controlled, and on jacks for about 20 plus years. The "brand new" unused tires were manufactured in 1996, and forgotten documents on the rear seat carpet detail the status and service done in the 1990s. Information I received from people with knowledge about the car stated that the 40,000 miles on the odometer are in fact the original miles and not rolled. One hell of a "barn" find.
