When you can't, you owe me a drink. Faith had no tours scheduled for today, but she woke up early and was waiting for my wife and I, boat in the water and ready to go. We paid a premium for the private tour but so worth it. I think 4 people per tour would be perfect so if you have another couple to split the costs it's well worth it. Watching Faith get so excited about spotting another species and talking excitedly about the where's and why's is really engaging. She truly cares about the lakes ecosystem and how it affects the birds. There is no script and no trying to up sell. This is a small owner-operator company. We had such a great morning. Before today I would have called this a bird watching trip. Now I will be describing it as a bird engagement tour. We stopped at a dock on the South side to watch even more birds not of the paddling type and use the restrooms. We then headed back across the lake. Our tour ran long as we were just enjoying the lake and the conversation. I recommend this tour just so you can feel Faith's passion for the waterfowl and this lake. My wife and I travel much of the year for work, meeting with customers and we see a lot of attractions, meeting a lot of people. We will be talking about this morning a lot with our friends and family.

Almost 4 weeks later I got my bike back and there was a dent that wasn't there before. And of course, when I had reported it to the owner, they lashed out and obscenities and were not very kind. But as we pulled up to get my bike, I noticed that there was an employee sitting on my bike as if he owned it and then I was told that they all have Harleys at that place, and they would never ever ruin a Harley or ever scratch anybody's Harley. But I found it very interesting as I pulled up to see employee sitting on my bike as if it was break time. So $1300 later I have a scratch over where my gas cap is and that's what I paid for. So the moral of the story here is it would've been nice if the owner would've said you know what bring the bike back. Let me look at it. I'm really sorry that happened you know let me give you some money off whatever the case maybe just whether it was whoever's fault. It's just about good customer service and making the customer happy. But that didn't happen.

Booked the Bass Tracker in May, Not the best time to set out for bass fishing at Clearlake but it…read morewas good. Bass Tracker can be considered "slow" (20 mph) due to it being a big lake. It got us from point A to B though. If we didn't have the boat, my friend wouldn't have caught his 8.4 lb bass though. Other than that, would recommend renting one of the two fishing boats from them. They work with your needs, give you a break down of things, and can be flexible to any changes. Had to call them 7 times due to "planning" issues, but they were cool about it.

She felt as though we was tricked from the pictures. She was told no refunds. My aunt was so disgusted she nearly got back on the plane and flew home. The place from the outside had spider webs and dirt all over the place. Its seriously needs to be pressure hosed from the outside all over. This is only where the problems start. In my beach house cottage the power and stove went out. They stated its a DFI switch or something like that, nevertheless after having a "employee who can fix it." They couldn't find her, she went home. So I had to wait to finish cooking. After about 2 hours they magically came back on. This seems as though its been a ongoing problem from the way they made it sound. Another one of my aunts had to wait for her unit to be painted 3 hours past check it. Yes I said painted! Who paints a unit same day of check in? Well later I find out they had a squatter who wouldn't leave dying there. the place smelled so bad they had to paint it to remove the smell. They wouldve been better off not renting the unit till it was complete. My aunt had to try and sleep there with paint fumes and she has asthma. Lastly mother and I was hanging out till midnight. When it was time for her to goto bed, she discovers her unit flooded from the AC. Her Bedding was soaked. They did come and mop it up and give new bedding. They literally gave the new bedding to my mom. My mother is handicap, the guy claims he has never maid a bed before. My mother could've slipped or gotten electrocuted, the offered no help. Here is the worst part they offered a $50 discount for the trouble. Moral of the story is NEVER got there. They need new owners and management that gives a dam.

Blue Fish Cove is a simple no-frills kinda place located "off the grid" for those of y'all who don't want to be bothered... and it's a hop skip and jump away from Sac and SF. The customer service here is excellent. The owners, namely Ms Judy, was very kind , extremely accommodating, and they're pet and family friendly.
