Googled "gluten free pizza Windsor" and this came up as the best. Those reviews did not lie! Amazing gluten free pizza - the crust had me fooled, honestly. Toppings were delish too! As a Windsorite (living in a different city, never letting that go!), we pride ourselves on our pizza, referencing another reviewer, Windsor has the best pizza in the entire world! I've only had take out, but when I went to pick up my pizza, or have had it delivered, the service was amazing and fast! We had ordered it last night, and had it delivered; we were told between 35-40 minutes, which is understandable it's a Saturday night and Boxing Day. I believe it was about 25 minutes later and our pizza arrived, fresh and piping hot! This pizzeria uses local Galati cheese, which is the best! Riviera has become my go place for pizza. There's a lot to choose from around here as Windsor is specifically known for good pizza; in which of those options I'd say Rivera is close-to, if not at the top. It's one of the few places where I haven't seen the quality diminish, and the best part is the pizza box is not greasy once you're finished (who would have thought!?). I will say that you'll pay a bit more than your average pizza joint, but it's well worth it. I usually order for carry-out, but it seems that the interior of the restaurant area has been recently redone, so it's a nice place to stay for dinner as well! Overall I'd recommend Rivera to anyone who is looking for great pizza in Windsor, it's a true classic in Olde Riverside. read more

Few restaurants offer vegan pizza in Windsor. Even fewer offer delivery. Usually frequent terracotta which has great pizza but does not deliver. Have not heard great things from friends about this place but was willing to try any way. Website has oddly arbitrary guidelines for delivery district. One of the very last restaurants in Windsor to do this as Windsor is a small town usually 20 minutes max from each corner to the other. I checked in GPS the time from the restaurant to both its delivery districts , the longest distance 12 minutes, checked to my home which is three blocks outside the district ( as the site says they make exceptions for large orders) and from the restaurant from my home 13 minute. I thought perfect. Called whole family is excited to try somewhere new as we order in 5 nights a week minimum and have been going to the same places repeatedly for a couple of years. Person answering the phone just hello, no restaurant name I had to ask and was rude. Tried to place order which would have been very large , and man on the phone said nope outside our district. No apology. And hung up. Firstly it's three blocks outside and on google maps 1 minute longer than places within your district. It's not as if this is gourmet food or even fries that could go bad on longer drives. It's pizza. Every single other pizza place in Windsor has no districts. As pizza keeps very well. Windsor is known for its phenomenal pizza, so it's certainly not as if there aren't multiple other options. There are many companies in Windsor that are FOOD delivery services. Every restaurant in the last ten years has either changed the archaic concept of districts or come out of take out only, w usually no more than 5$ fee for delivery most windsorites are fine w this . My family has always ordered out more nights a week than not and we have found every restaurant in Windsor has changed their no delivery policy w the development of all these delivery companies. Maybe this would be a good idea for this place as they have officially turned away a new customer without so much as a sorry, but based on the very rude conversation w the man on the phone i don't imagine much is done here to accommodate customers. It's hard in Windsor to stand out and become successful in the restaurant business especially pizza as we are overrun w pizza places, and award winning pizza places. Poor customer services, outdated arbitrary rules and systems and an outdated and glitch filled website are not the way to do it read more

Best pizza in town! I order from Riviera at least 5 to 10 times a month and it's AMAZING every time. I've tried their panzerotti, sandwiches and of course their legendary ZA!! The sauce is delicious, the crust is perfect, and the cheese they use is high quality. Reasonably priced and the service is ALWAYS fast and friendly! Not just good, but a GREAT RESTAURANT!!! I don't usually write reviews, unless I have particularly terrible experience. With that being said, here's my review. :) I honestly didn't get to try the pizza. Wish I could have, but I got stopped in the process of ordering as they wouldn't actually honour their own deal, then berated me for even asking about it. I looked on their website under the 'Specials/Offers' tab and found that you could get a Large Deluxe pizza (called 'No Anchovies') for $20, tax included. Called to get that offer but the woman on the phone said there's no way they offer large pizzas for $20 and recommended I get a small if that was my budget. I then told her that I was literally looking on their website as we speak, which she said was "impossible" as they just updated their website recently and they've never had pizza for that price. I confirmed I was looking at the correct website (since it had their URL, phone number, menu and address on it) but she still didn't believe me. I then told her I could send a screenshot, which she refused, by saying "That won't do any good, I don't have a computer.". When I asked if I could text a screenshot to her phone, she said she "didn't have one". :| I asked if there's any way they could honour the deal and she basically scoffed at me very rudely and said "no" because she didn't believe me. To be clear, the difference between the deal price and the regular price was a mere $3-$4... but it was the complete disrespect and lack of empathy that made me not want to spend my money there. Shame too, with all the other decent reviews of the place I was hoping this would become my go-to. No chance with this kind of service. read more

A great local pizza place. Waiter was really friendly and helpful. I had a pizza burger. A nice fresh bun and homemade pattie with just enough sauce. Stopped in here few days ago with my girlfriend. We ordered a small pizza with a side of fries. Pizza wasn't great at all. They are pretty cheap on their toppings considering the prices for their pizza. But most disappointing part was the service that was provided by the lady working their.
